CORONA Tested positive for COVID

I've had a cold for the past few days, nothing major. Four of the teachers in my school have been out with COVID most of the week, and one more employee tested positive on Wednesday or Thursday. I woke up this morning feeling worse than yesterday (headache, sore throat). I debated the whole "ignorance is bliss" approach and not testing, as I have sooo much to do this weekend. I do NOT have time to sit at home. But, it would be irresponsible to get other people sick if I did have COVID, so I tested. Sure enough, it came back positive (tested twice just to be sure).

I am 99.9% certain that the teachers who tested positive are "vaccinated" and boosted (I am neither). I know for sure at least one of them is, but I'm pretty sure they all are. Just more evidence that the "vaccine" does not prevent you from getting it or passing it to others.

Part of the excitement of the initial vaccines against the early variants was their ability to keep you healthy. As new variants were introduced even the initial vaccines started to only block the serious symptoms and managed to keep you out of the hospital. The recent bivariant vaccine has shown some ability to keep you healthy and blocks you from infecting others.

I hope you recover soon.

It's best to have a plan B if you are are staying home. Make a list of things to get done at home, and a list of things to get done away from home. If possible, do the things on the list that you would otherwise be doing on the other list.

Great. I’m sorry you’re having to enjoy “the fun”.

This recent stuff has been so contagious that if it’s in the building, I treat everyone I come in contact with as if they have it.

A good many who have tested positive have also remained asymptomatic. You can tell they feel bad, but that’s about it. No fever, cough or other things generally associated with it.

Take your supplements, rest when you need to and of course walk around when you can. When I had it I would sit in the sun for a few minutes and it helped me feel better. Just watch where you do this (you may stand up and feel dizzy.). And of course, that may not do the same for you because, as you know, everyone is different. I was just a little surprised it helped at all at this time of year.

Prayers for a quick recovery!!

Supp up!

And a new one for me -

The risk/benefit of bromelain + NAC is very favorable. Tests in labs seem to indicate it breaks down the spike protein rapidly. Low risk. - from Clif

I added bromelain to my quercetin, nac, zinc, c, d regimen and it seems to help.

Gonna blow it out of the water with nattokinase, Lord willing.

Does anyone have a clue what the incubation period is once you’ve been exposed to a Covid positive person?

The answers I’m seeing are all over the place.
Thank you!

Next question is; if, one is positive, how long will you actually test for the virus?

How fast does it leave your system, but you may still feel sick or run a very low grade fever around 99-100? Meaning, what if you were exposed, feel sick, but test negative.

*** apologies to the Op for thread drift.
