Ran up there yesterday, lots of folks but nowhere near Sturgis full. Had a good time. Everyone was polite. Very few mask wearers. Might go back one day next week.

We were in Wisconsin yesterday and a motorcycle with a middle-aged man and woman on it parked next to us. We chatted a bit. Very nice couple. They were on their way to Sturgis. Told them we had been there years ago but not for the Rally. The asked if the people in the store we had just come out of had to wear masks. I told them yes, but there were several people who were not wearing masks, and that I didn't wear a mask while I was on the phone. The biker lady said that they wouldn't wear masks in - didn't like them - but had them in their pockets if they absolutely needed them.

I should have asked them how they felt about BLM trying to crash their party....

I was there twice in the late 70s. I rode a Harley Chopper that only the frame and gas tank were painted the rest was chrome.

Lots of bikes on trailers last weekend when we were heading west on 80. Mostly new England states on the license plates.

Been there several times. The Mrs's grew up a bit south of there and uses it as an excuse to go see her sister. I just want to ride! Town is a challenge for me. Hate crowds! I end up with a hell of a head ache after walking around town.

I was looking at going this year but not being able to ride due to another round of heart issues kept me off the Harley for so long that I'd never be able to last long enough to get there. Gotta wait another year an build up to enduring a long ride like Sturgis or the west coast.
