I know this belongs in the Covid thread or a “stock up” thread, however I want you all to see this.
I have friends in China. You know the drill on that, lol. Covid is spreading like wildfire as was expected. I know the news says that Beijing is bad and I don't know about that. Two friends in two completely different parts of China said the Xovid strain they have is not too bad. Fevers, chills, cough. HOWEVER, my friend in Shanghai said the following about IBUPROFEN. Take heed!!
“And people can’t get enough medicine, the government didn’t consider about the medicine problem, it looks they were rush to stop the policy. In the past three years, the febrifuge like ibuprofen was controlled, people couldn’t buy it from pharmacy. The factory reduced the production. Now we’re lack of it. People begin to share their pills piece by piece.”
What’s interesting is that you can by antibiotics like you can buy any over-the-counter meds. I would have bought a ton when I was there if it wouldn't gave looked suspicious going through customs. But their access to antibiotics is exactly why they are resistant to anything requiring antibiotics. Doctors will prescribe 3 different antibiotics to a child with an ear infection and then the parents can't figure out why their child isn't responding. Ugh. Anyway, hope this helps.
