our expectations have been reset by 9 months of corona, lock down, shortages, masks, Black Lives Matter, stimulus, Antifa, rising prices, one or two or three hurricanes.
It isn't so much of a lull - it is like the Three Gorges Dam after one day of no rain even though another monsoon is on the way

Somewhere in the Northern Pacific, a weapons officer of an Ohio class boomer is shocked to see the status lights signal that all missile hatches are opening. The Tridents' navigational systems are spooling up as if getting ready for launch. He informs the Captain of the mysterious goings on and is shocked to hear the Captain say, she's already gone up to launch depth and we can't change her!
"Captain," said the now confused and worried weapons officer, "Could this be..."

The normally phlegmatic submariners on the bridge hear this, go slack jawed, wide eyed, and then panic.

I feel it to, I find myself checking my sites far too often to see if the big one has happened. Its like that moment at the top of the roller coaster, click click..... click............ click. With Rbg passing an already very emotional event is about to go critical. Time to hold on or put your hands up and scream we are all In for the duration of the ride.

Independent journalists (including a woman) were assaulted by Antifa while trying to do interviews in a Philly park last night
An anti-Trumper who attempted to attack one of the journalists was mistaken as a trump supporter by the same mob and chased by Antifa to his car where they proceeded to bash out the rear window, kick in the sides and terrorize him as well as the dog he had in the car before he drove off...
A man sitting with his dog enjoying a drink outside a restaurant in DC was assailed by a BLM mob
BLM/Antifa went onto private property in California to terrorize a gay veteran & his guests as they dined on their front patio...
BLM terrorists marched in front of Mitch McConnel's Louisville home....
