Well, Everclear is some nasty stuff, for sure. I foolishly tried some of that in its untreated state myself, once. Also in my yute LOL

Great vodka is nice, though - smooooooooth going down. And of course taken with some good dill pickles, Russian style. If someone's got a good expense account, pickled herring to go with as well!

My Polish Dad made a Stiplina (SP), imagine a piece of wood, 1/2 inch square, and about 1 1/2 foot long. He took a leather belt, cut the buckle off, then cut the belt in half lengthwise. He then cut those two pieces in half. Having four identical lengths, he tacked one piece each to the four sides at the end. A four piece whip.

He used it twice before my Mother throw it out.

What attracted me to TB2k was the deep research shared by the participants. What has bothered me for awhile is the politics invading every possible topic. Is there enough of America left to share to focus on the topic and not drag it to one pile of dog S*&% or the other? I belong to other sites where national politics are banned. The last page on the truck convey doesn't even mention which state they are in from the headlines in any of the posts. What has been a news source has turned into an echo chamber.

The problem is that our political “leaders” have stolen the country, and there is a vast sea of seething anger, waiting to erupt like a volcano. That anger boils over into almost every topic. I don’t agree with it, but it is what it is.

This is about as accurate as I can come up with. There has been a lot of "testiness" in the last few days. The thread Doc1 and I was on probably did not help things any. Sorry for how that turned out.

Thanks for making note, MILLHOUSE.

I have a hard time knowing when people are being asses versus just them being old, having illnesses, or being on medication for the illnesses, drinking etc. . .and havent been able to tell if the "being triggered over beinign causes" that krayola mentions was genuine or more assholery.

..I still remain clueless, but nice to know it's all really a real thing and is making this place less pleasant for others too :D
