I see............thanks for explaining......I'm with you on how hard it is to move on with life after that experience.............but its hard to believe with actual face to face personal encounters results in that kind of photo sharing on their part..............

Let's take a stab at why this might be...............most women would know that if you meet a man at church as opposed to a bar that you might have a better chance at one of the "good ones" so to speak.............could it be in that environment some women just attend such gatherings for that reason alone..........and are so desirous to find a "good one" they get desperate and put as much on display physically and emotionally as they dare in an effort to capture a "good one" before the other women does?
I don't know how common or rare your situation is but it would be quite bizarre to have a study done on what women are thinking of in that situation.

IDK The woman that I'm with now had a problem at the Mega church she was a member of.( she quit going there) Females were using lady's weekend retreats as lesbian/bi hook up weekends .. most were Married.
My girl was approached on two different trips. She walked away from that church never to return

Any "church" with active homosexual clergy would likely wink at this. Ones with female clergy (but no homo clergy) still might. Ones with men-only clergy (other than the RCC), not much chance they'd knowingly let it slide.

a First Christian church. Very large membership the church split off into two different locations because the orig church run out of room.

A few years ago we were trying to raise a 15year old granddaughter, she is autistic and has severe mental issues. We made the mistake of buying her a phone, disaster followed. We got a call from the principle telling us our granddaughter was expelled and come pick her up. I left work and went to the school office to get her. I asked to talk to principal after an hour wait he came out and said what do you need I'm really busy. I asked what did the kid do? Sexting he shouted, every kid in this school has nude pictures of her! How long is she expelled for I asked. To be determined he said I've got to speak to superintendent. When we got home after the histrionics I asked her about it and made her show me the phone. An 18 year old boy she had texted asked her to show me your tits,she did then he sent it all over school. I Went back to school waited another hour to talk to principle, showed him her phone and said what about the boy, he said nothing is going to happen to him she is the one who sent the pictures. I told him to check her out, she wouldn't be back ever. We tried to homeschool her but she had too many mental problems, but I did take phone away permanently. She is mentally about 7years old and she looks normal, she was a beautiful teenager. I gave her that phone never dreaming anything like that would happen.

I'm siding with Dennis on this one. I don't think a crime was committed. First of all, just how stupid were these "smart professional women" anyway? Second, and perhaps the most hilarious thing to me, is that they had to get their BOYFRIENDS involved to get the perv to back off. OMG! In today's view, it's a wonder that the boyfriends were not charged with menacing or worse. Stupid, stupid women. And they breed.

It's not all churches -- I can't imagine anything like that (either type of incident -- women sexting men, or sex hookups at a retreat) happening at any of the little Bible-believing churches I've attended. There would be church discipline if it did happen.
My step-father, in his mid-to-late seventies now, still gets accosted by strange women when he and Mom are out and about -- in the grocery store, for example, or the library. Even with Mom standing right there with him. He WAS pretty good-looking when he was young, but not so much anymore, so it just makes me shake my head. Blows me away what some people think is appropriate behavior! It's not women looking for babies, either, MS, it's old ladies...excuse me, old women. They obviously are not ladies.
