I couldn't find a thread on this so I decided to start one. Mods if there's already one out there that I missed, please combine this one with it. - OGM

Chicken Corn Soup
2 - 15.25ish Ounce Cans
1/2 - 12.5 Ounce can of cooked Chicken Breast
Chicken Bone broth as needed I used about 2/3 of a carton
Spice to taste I tried some Kirkland Organic No Salt - to taste

Combine and heat in a saucepan. I simmered for about 10 minuets. I got 3 servings out of the recipe. YMMV.

I wear contacts and I always assumed when the SHTF I would always wear my glasses but to day I found a canning recipe for saline solution that can be used with contact lenses. Use distilled water or well water boiled for 20 minutes. In sterilized jars pour 1 quart water and add 2 tsp pure sea salt (no iodine or any additives). Or 1 pint water and 1tsp salt. Or 1/2 pint water and 1/2 tsp salt. Pressure can for 10 minutes and allow to cool 4 hours.

I'm going to do a pressure canner full of 1/2 pints. It will save me a lot of money. I just bought 2 10 oz bottles for $22 dollars today.
