Secretary of the Navy Carlos Del Toro, the civilian head of both the Navy and Marine Corps, announced that he tested positive for COVID-19 on Monday morning.

Del Toro's statement, issued late Monday afternoon, suggested that he is feeling some symptoms though he noted that he is "grateful to be fully vaccinated and to have received the booster shot in October as I know my symptoms could be far worse."

"I am following my physician's instructions and will quarantine for the next five days at a minimum in accordance with CDC guidelines," Del Toro wrote.

The secretary, 61, said he had been on official travel last week, but he tested negative a week before his trip and immediately after.

He added that he plans to continue working virtually during his quarantine.

"During this time, I will attend key meetings and discussions virtually and when necessary, the Honorable Meredith Berger, performing the duties of Under Secretary of the Navy, will represent me during my physical absence," Del Toro said.
The secretary is the latest in a string of military leaders to test positive for COVID-19.

Last week, the head of U.S. Special Operations Command, Gen. Richard Clarke, announced that he had tested positive. Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Gen. Mark Milley and Marine Corps Commandant Gen. David Berger, as well as Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, announced positive COVID-19 test results and quarantines earlier in the month. Early in December, the top general in charge of the National Guard, Gen. Dan Hokanson, also tested positive for the virus.

"We must continue to vaccinate our naval forces and look out for our physical health as we finish the fight against COVID," Del Toro said in his statement.

Is this a virtue signaling thing now? Does this ass clown intend to make a public announcement when he gets a case of the runs? What inspiring military leadership we have now.

On one hand, clowns like this who are fully vaxed get covid.

On the other hand, the narrative is that if fully vaxed you can't get covid, and thus a reason to discriminate against the unvaxed for spreading the disease and all the other related nonsensical non-science propaganda, mandates and lockdowns.

The truly sad part is leftists and the sheep in general can't see this.

Of note in our area is mask wearing is up, it's gotta be the omicron scare, which unto itself is a good propaganda tool.

And he knows this how? If he did not have the shot and booster, he may not have gotten it at all. Sorry my tinfoil hat is way too tight.
This not tin-foil. Even before development and initiation of the gene therapies, it was estimated that 40 percent of those who "caught" Covid-19 experienced no symptoms. Hence its marketing at the time as a "sneaky" disease and "this is why Covid-19 is so dangerous as it is transmissible."

And - the issue with Covid seems to be worse among those with "compromised" immune systems.

And why today 80 percent of Covid cases under treatment today in hospitals have had their "jabs" - but are erroneously reported as "Covid" - when they need to be referred to as "vaccine reaction via immune deficiency."

Covid Gene Therapy as it is being practiced today should be referred to as "The Covid Therapy that keeps on Taking."

(Play on Johnny Carson's "The Christmas Gift that keeps on giving - Prune Nog.")

There are no short-cuts (shot-cuts) to "herd immunity." Gene therapy may protect you from genetic model Covid-19, but it leaves the immunity gate open to Covid-19.1, 19.2, 19.X.

Maybe WIDE open.
