Roughly 70% Of Haley Voters In New Hampshire Primary Weren’t Registered Republicans, Exit Poll Shows

About seven in ten voters who backed former Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley in the New Hampshire primary were not Republican, according to a CNN exit poll.

Former President Donald Trump won the primary after he secured a record-setting victory in the Iowa caucuses Jan. 15., winning the New Hampshire race by a roughly nine point margin, according to The Associated Press. CNN reporter David Chalian outlined which voters backed the Republican contenders.

“Among Trump voters, 70% of them, according to our exit polls, are registered Republicans,” Chalian said. “Donald Trump, his support, 27% of his voters are registered undeclared or independents, 3% were unregistered before today.”

“Look at how that compares to Nikki Haley, it’s a complete reversal, it’s an alternate universe,” Chalian continued. “Among Haley voters, 70% are registered undeclared, only 27% are registered Republicans.”

Trump led Haley by 19.3% in the RealClearPolitics average of polls for the New Hampshire primary taken from Jan. 16 to Jan. 22.

Trump also leads in the RealClearPolitics average of polls nationally, with 66.1% of the vote to 11.5% for Haley, while Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis of Florida, who dropped out of the race Sunday, is third at 10.5%.

Chalian also took aim at Trump voters while discussing another set of exit poll results.

“We also see this when asking people did Joe Biden legitimately win the 2020 election, which he did,” Chalian added. “Among Trump voters 80% say, no, they say it wrongly, no, Joe Biden did not legitimately win the 2020 election. Haley voters, it’s the complete opposite: 83% of Haley voters say correctly Joe Biden was the legitimate winner in 2020. Only 15% of her voters say wrongly he was not.”

“This is the Trump/Haley, Mars/Venus election tonight in New Hampshire,” Chalian said.

So what they are saying is 70% of demorats won't vote for bidet.
There are obviously going to be high percentage of never trumpers in there but it sounds to me like even demorats don't want bidet round 2.

this "open primary" shite needs to stop. along with same day switching parties to vote in the other party's primary and then switch back again, I know in my town it used to be the case and I think still might be, that if you live in town and want to switch, you can, but there is a time limit before primaries to do so.

I don't think the demoncrat party would mind a Haley win. She's a "closet" liberal demoncrat just like them. One could barely call her a RINO.

So much for "representation by the people." You get represented - but not by your party. Instead you get represented by those who control the voting process - and "steer" the vote to whomever they want.

They tried to "steer" the NH Republican Primary with Nikki and her cross-overs/independents - but alas their "reins" weren't strong enough.

The population estimate of the New Hampshire was 1,402,054 as of July 1, 2023, according to U.S. Census.

Out of around 1,000,925 registered voters, 30.28% are part of the Democratic Party and 29.82% are with the Republican Party, according to the Independent Voter Project.

About 399,395 voters (39.90%) are unaffiliated with either political party,

298200 (Roughly) Registered Republicans. Of which 121000 voted for Trump. 40.9 percent voter turnout?

Owner would say "Things aren't bad enough yet."

And perhaps they're not?

when you get bogus results like that - the $$$$$ people start falling out - their $$$$ investment is just bad biz - there's no logical path to any kind of successful finish - couple of primary delegates that get negated next week by Trump's Nevada win .....

Nevada is another "caucus" state. Actually they're having a primary vote AND a caucus.

I believe Haley is included in the caucus list and Trump is in the primary vote list.

Oops. T'other way around. Trump won't be on Nevada's 2024 GOP primary ballot, and Haley won't be on Nevada's caucus ballot. Here's why.

Trump claimed Haley isn't on the caucus ballot because she "decided not to play in Nevada" since he was leading in the polls.

Somehow, Nevada "blends" these two results together to reach a number for "Primary Convention Delegates."

Nevada may be a "winner take all" delegate state. And Trump is a "shoe-in."

Not iron shoe...

Yes, I know all of this. I was being sarcastic and parroting what Tricky Nikki said last night. :)

Add a little more humiliation for her and especially her husband...
I had to look it up.

SRX racers are custom made, race track adapted, upgraded, typical output around 800hp. The cars are created in "groups," all identical except for identifier to each driver/sponsor, and the race(s) (more than one) are designed to be a test of driver acumen - not car acumen.

To be hit by an SRX racer means you're driving acumen level is low.

Like "Get out of my way" low.

I think they're inferring that Trump is an SRX Racer.

Hey - it's a stretch. He may be trying to tell us something not generally known - i.e. show-off.

Will Folks, her Communications Consultant back in 2007, was banging her in a Cadillac SRX while married to husband Michael. He still mentions it.

Another guy a few years ago, Larry Marchant, claims he and Haley did the wild thing when they were attending a conference in Salt Lake City, Utah, together in June 2008. Doesn't sound like that one was in a car though.
