There can be only one.
This is a pretty controversial subject in many places and there is alot of skepticism out there on it so I'll just say if this is the wrong place for something like this or it isn't allowed I apologize in advance.
That said; I have rheumatoid arthritis. I've had it for 20 years and until this year it was well managed and I was functional for the most part and active. I have been very blessed and I am still able to work. Spend alot of time raising my kids and doing stuff around my property. Ive been treated with many many different drugs, diet changes, and pain medications during this time so Im not looking for advice on anything besides the topic of medical marijuana and its benefits to someone like me who deals with daily chronic pain and inflamation.
I live in a state that it is legal for treatment as well as recreational use and while I don't love the idea of it my doctor recommended I take a look at it as an alternative to the handful of pain killers I am eating a day at this point just to function. Believe me, if I were not at wits end it would not be an option. Im not generally that open minded but opiate addiction is a very real thing that I don't want to experience.
The other thing is the reason I am posting this here and not on some pothead board is just that; so far what I have read on medical MJ boards has been a whole lot of people with questionable medical issues looking for a license to get high. I trust the caliber of people here on TB2k and I am hoping that I can get some real world advice from someone with some experience on the subject.
What I am wondering is if there is anyone that has had experience treating using MMJ and what they treat for, how often and what methods they use? I have read some promising medical articles on the subject but I have gotten very little input on other forums or they just trash the thread because it isnt allowed on the RA forums I frequent. If it isn't for RA that is fine too, Im just looking for some input on the subject from anyone that had some experience even if it is secondhand.
Thanks for taking the time to read through all this.
