Genocide is bad, but the guidestones don't recommend genocide. That's all in the minds of the readers. People get derailed by their over-ready imaginations.
People are deeply invested in the idea that the guidestones are either Satanic or the Illuminati leaked plans for our demise. One in a thousand sees them for what they are: Kumbaya in granite. Some idealistic people 40 years ago thought it would be nice to write hopeful things in rock. What a stupid idea.
Remember the Desiderata? In the 60's it was virtually a requirement that everyone have the Desiderata poster on their wall. "Be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe." Test your blood sugar after reading.
That's what the guidestones are. Reading the guidestones is like sitting around the campfire singing Kumbaya. Nobody yells at the campers to stop singing that uplifting song because it's too idealistic.
The guidestones are like the Desiderata unless you're invested in the Satanic/Illuminati model. Then the guidestones embody evil, and anyone who disagrees must want to commit genocide. Meh

Mathematically and logically, it is impossible to achieve the stated goal without either a natural event outside human control or via a human action that is objectively harmful. Given that the statement was written to be read by human beings, the directive only leads to the latter option.
All of the above is before even considering whether or not half a billion people is actually more or less beneficial in the first place. So now you have a goal that is objectively bad because of the unavoidable process of achieving it AND cannot be shown to be objectively good even if the harm required can be avoided or rationalized away.
To rationalize the harm posed by this particular goal requires a level of sociopathological action not yet reached by any human being.

I get that you're convinced there has to be some genocide somewhere, but I'm afraid that's all on you. The guidestones don't call for it and I don't either. You're all mathematical and logical, but the guidestones aren't, Kumbaya isn't, and the Desiderata isn't. The guidestones are like Ram Dass saying "Be here now" and you're the Star Trek computer popping and smoking.
The guidestones don't say to kill off enough people to end up with 500M, they say to maintain below 500M. It's like someone tells you to stay between the ditches when you're on the road. Staying between the ditches is a worthy aspiration when you're driving, not a command to go get in your car. The people who wrote the guidestones would be horrified to hear how you're interpreting it.

So, back in the day, before Hitler took power, if he wrote an essay saying that he wanted the jews to maintain a population of 2000, considering there were millions of them at the time, what conclusion would you get from his statement?
Whoever wrote the stones, is assuming there will, at some point, be a worldwide slaughter of the population of the earth, to meet that maintained goal of under 500 million people.
(If my math is correct, it means that almost 94% of the world's population would have to be deaded or off-worlded)
So my express thought would be that either the stone writer has inside knowledge of a plot to kill off that many people, or he is wishful thinking and watched too much star trek.(The Bible does not say that many people will be killed leading up to the battle of armageddon.)
But to any Christian that reads the stones, knows that the implied and wished goal of the stone writer, is for there to only be up to 500 million people on earth at one time.

As a Christian, my POV is absolutely that there is something wrong with those, in fact, a lot of things. They have attracted a lot of satanists over the years, at that site, for rituals.

1) Anything called "Fact Check" or anything similar must be suspect. There is too much censorship going on, and labelling everything that doesn't go with the accepted narrative as "mis-information" is part of that censorship.
Remember how "fact checkers" were calling the concept that the virus *might* have emerged from the Wuhan Institute of Virology a "racist conspiracy theory", just weeks ago? Yeah, that was "fact checking" in action.
My working theory is that anything that is being censored is almost certainly true.
2) The Japanese distribution documents applied to the LNP, Liquid Nano Particles, which are used to encase the mRNA and convey it into cells. Those were absolutley found to be widely distributed. Why they would be, with or without the mRNA they contained, is a question to be pondered - but that distribution is happening. That was not told to us. We were told that the vax stays in the shoulder and associated lymph nodes.
3) All the databases, (including CDC's VAERS), documenting adverse reactions up to and including death, show this vaccine to be far, far more problematic than any previously produced. And that is after people familiar with the VAERS assert that 150,000 - 200,000 entries have been deleted.
Karl Denninger wrote about this, including instructions on how to go into VAERS and produce pie charts illustrating the disproportionate number of deaths reported with the Covid-19 Vaccines. Somehow that article doesn't appear to be on Karl's site anymore, but an archive has it here:
