Lol, did you know that there's a difference between, 'Texican', 'Texian' and 'Texan'? And I don't mean the spelling. You, Sir, are a 'Texican', especially if you, 'Remember Goliad'. 'Texicans' made the COUNTRY of Texas. 'Texians' made the Confederate State of Texas. 'Texans' are trying to Keep Texas from being 'Califoriated'.
I think you misspelled Californicated.

The schools have to remain open as children are getting harmed by being forced to stay at home. The psychological medical community is in an uproar over this fact. The other issue is that the children are falling way too far behind school wise the more that they stay home I disagree with this

The solution is home schooling or schooling by zoom. The children and parents need to be disciplined to make this work.

That is the issue. Discipline is not occurring at home. The parents are incapable of properly raising the child. Not all parents can actually home school well. It takes drive as much as it does having the ability to teach on top of lots of patience.

There is unschooling now. It is not up to the parents or anybody, the child is in control. I don't really care anymore. This used to upset me because I homeschooled and the unschoolers made homeschoolers look bad, at least I thought, but now what they teach in public school, I think everybody should be unschooled and all the adults should just get unlearned from what was taught to them in these hell holes called public school.

And the current crop of agenda driven educators are capable? (A generalization no different than yours)

Deschooling is better than this remote junk they have been doing. Let kids be kids and start thirsting for knowledge. Kids want to be capable.

Deschooling is the process of separating a kid from the public school mindset. It is getting away from the idea that you can only learn if you sit quietly for a certain number of hours and are talked at. And getting away from the idea that learning is a semi-passive thing that happens when you show up to class. And only when you show up to class.

Deschooling often takes a month per year of school completed.

Unschooling can follow from deschooling, and usually does when the child discovers that they WANT to learn. Unschooling is the process of learning because of inate desire to know something, and the self-driven process to figure it out.

Unschooling can even look like a kid taking college classes in high school. If the child mapped their own path and decided that was the best way to achieve their goal, that is still unschooling.

Funny how humanity made it to where we are today with compulsory public education not being part of that process for the vast majority of time. It seems the western world has been in a downhill spin since we instituted compulsory public education. I wonder if there is a link.

There will emerge three general groups from this: First is those who chafe at the government schools and un-teach/re-teach daily, and the kids are intelligent enough and nurtured enough to survive this. This group has probably been thriving with being able to hit the 'bathroom' button and have a good laugh with Mom or Dad at the expense of the indoctrinator on the other end of the zoomie call.

Second group is those whose parents have the knowledge and some niggling sense of conscience that they haven't done enough right enough to see that their kids are educated properly, but have been caught up through their OWN indoctrination and peer pressure into going along since they got through it and seemed to be okay enough. (See the 'enough' common theme here? The "2.5 and survive" attitude? They know they can do better but it's 'enough' :/ ) This group of parents may or may not step up, depending on their own situations and how life affected them through the shutdowns and restrictions.

The third group is everybody else. Those whose parents were second-groupers who never had the limits of their 'enough' stretched to the point of showing flaws in their conduct. These kids not only have indifferent parents, but indulgent grandparents, all have some degree of narcissism, enough to think they haven't done a thing wrong. Most don't even realize that it's THEIR responsibility to make something useful out of that two legged puppy they took in.

All three of these groups have sub-groups, and all three stretch across all economic classifications, to some extent or another. Not saying that everybody in each group would get along and a get-together would go swimmingly or anything, except possibly with the first group (although most of us here at TB are first-groupers and Lord knows there'd be some ....intense?....discussions at that bbq among us ;) .) The third group contains soccer mom-types as well as welfare brood mares. Likely most karens are here. And these are the ones who are raising the current crop of brats

I would rather the children be in the care of unqualified parents than fully licensed commiecrats.

M1, I started out to just make a funny about your first sentence, something about the unqualified parents being UNlicensed commiecrats, but it's too true to have much funny to it.

I think you're smack on with the rest, though. When enough people got comfortable enough that they could 'outsource' their responsibility to raise their young, and turned them over to a committee or bureaucracy, driven by the personal self-preservation of its members and that group of leeches got ahold of the legislators' power of and threats of force, was the tipping point. None of those large figures in our history had a 'formal' education until very specialized and technical courses were encountered, and that was after a local local local, parents involved every step of the way, foundation. One room schoolhouses in walking distance, where the parents could hire/fire/beat up/run off any commiecrat who taught touchy-feely bullshit waste-of-time garbage.

I can't imagine it now, I do know that fifty years ago I was BORED TO TEARS sitting in a government school classroom because little Johnny in the back row didn't know how to print an R and the whole class had to sit through lessons on that. But even that was educational, just boring as hell. Today all Johnny has to do is know sorta what an R looks like so he can misspell a text.

Our school supply list was two pencils and a Big Chief tablet. I had to buy my own school supplies out of pocket (economics lesson from parents, not meanness or because they didn't have it.) Made me very careful to think about it before sharpening a pencil just because I wanted something to do....or giving the kid behind me a sheet of paper every day because he made airplanes and spitwads out of all of his.....

Enough rambling. I'll finish this muttering to myself....or out loud, to entertain the wife, who will join in and we'll get a good and full mad on at current events again. Not a bad thing, prompts us to continue preparing for what's coming.

Nope. But I'm now doing what I never have- digging out a mask pattern, to make the flimsiest, easiest to breathe through masks I can. We've been using N95 (with valve) masks- when we were actually concerned about catching this carp. But at this point, hubby's had it twice, and I'm apparently immune. N.Y is still (before this latest nonsense) requiring masks in any medical facility, and unfortunately, we're running to various appointments a lot lately.

I don't want to waste the N95s. And I need to be able to breathe!

I’ve ordered masks for my college aged kids from Etsy. There’s several different types of fabric people use. One thing I’ve learned is the darker masks hide the fact the masks are so thin. The light ones easily show your nose and mouth.

Just asked, and he said it came up on Google News.

So where does the data come from that says people are dying from the variant strain?
That's a very good question. This guy phoned around to some of the labs and learned there is no test
that can tell if you have the delta variant, just if you have covid.

Dr. Robert Malone on the Pfizer Shots and why they are less effective and severity of cases in those recipients.

A little more background on what is happening to him since he went public.

By Michael Haynes
LifeSiteNews has been permanently banned on YouTube. Click HERE to sign up to receive emails when we add to our video library.
July 5, 2021 (LifeSiteNews) – Information about the inventor of the mRNA technology used in certain COVID-19 vaccines was removed from the online encyclopedia site Wikipedia after he publicly warned against giving the experimental gene therapy vaccines to young people and that there was insufficient information about the injections to give informed consent.
Dr. Robert Malone, M.D., M.S., discovered RNA transfection and, while he was at the Salk Institute in San Diego in 1988, invented mRNA vaccines. His research was continued the next year at Vical, and between 1988 and 1989, Malone wrote the patent disclosures for mRNA vaccines.
On June 10, 2021, Dr. Malone joined biologist Bret Weinstein, Ph.D, on the Dark Horse Podcast, where Malone raised numerous safety concerns about the Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines, both of which use mRNA technology. He warned about future autoimmune issues caused by the spike proteins within the mRNA injections.
Malone also stated that the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) was aware that the spike proteins were “biologically active and could travel from the injection site and cause adverse events, and that the spike protein, if biologically active, is very dangerous.”
YouTube swiftly moved to censor clips from the three-hour podcast interview.

Then, appearing on Fox News’ Tucker Carlson Tonight some days later, Dr. Malone issued further warnings about the vaccines, the content of which is contrary to the mainstream media’s promotion of the injections. The mRNA inventor declared that there was still insufficient data for anyone to make an informed decision about receiving the vaccines.

Malone also warned against the injections being given to young people: “I have a bias that the benefits probably don’t outweigh the risks in that cohort. But, unfortunately, the risk-benefit analysis is not being done.”

Carlson described Malone as being perhaps “the single most qualified person on planet earth to discuss this subject” given his status as the inventor of the technology behind the injections now being rolled out, and in some cases mandated, to people across the globe.

However, Malone was not targeted merely by YouTube. Just days after the Dark Horse Podcast was released, the Wikipedia entry for “RNA vaccine” was changed, removing him and his role from the article, and thus potentially removing the weight that his warnings about the technology might convey.

An archived version of the site from June 14, 2021, clearly lists Malone as the creator and initial researcher into the technology.

Just two days later, June 16, the site was altered to remove any mention of Dr. Malone in the text of the entry. Instead of detailing his exploits, the entry now states that mRNA technology was discovered by “researchers at the Salk Institute, the University of California, San Diego, and Vical.”

The site was to undergo yet another change, and at the time of writing (July 5), the entry had undergone another substantial alteration, this time mentioning Jon Wolff, a collaborator of Malone’s in 1990, and giving him chief credit for the mRNA research experiments.

Furthermore, the current Wikipedia entry now lists Katalin Karikó as “a scientist behind a key discovery in the development of mRNA vaccines.” As noted by commentators on YouTube, Karikó is, unlike Dr. Malone, a public proponent of the experimental vaccines, commenting to The Guardian in November 2020 on the mRNA vaccine: “I never doubted it would work.”

The 66-year-old biochemist is currently the senior vice president at BioNTech RNA Pharmaceuticals, having been in the position since 2013, and is the head of RNA protein replacement therapies. BioNTech is partnered with Pfizer in developing, producing and distributing the hastily developed, experimental COVID-19 injection.

A marked difference in tone toward the COVID-19 injections can be noticed between Dr. Malone and Karikó. While Malone warned that no one had sufficient information to be able to make an informed decision about taking the vaccine, Karikó hailed mRNA as a potential “a universal platform” for future drugs.

Meanwhile, the number of adverse reactions and deaths occurring after the COVID-19 injections continues to mount. The Defender reported that the latest data from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention now numbers 411,931 total adverse events after the COVID-19 injection, including 6,985 deaths and 34,065 serious injury reports.

Of that number, VAERS noted that there are 186,196 adverse events for the Pfizer/BioNTech injection, with 2,403 deaths and 16,139 serious events.

Wikipedia has faced criticism for being “a provider of inaccuracy and bias,” according to Joseph Farah, CEO and editor-in-chief of WorldNetDaily (WND). Farah noted that his own bio page was full of inaccuracies, libels, out-of-date information, and puerile insults.

So much has the website become a proponent of left-wing “propaganda” that Wikipedia’s co-founder Larry Sanger is attempting to launch an alternative. He stated that the site “completely ignores any conservative, libertarian, or critical treatment of the subject.”

While the platform did not begin with a left-leaning bias, Sanger explained that a decade ago “as liberals, or leftists made their march through the institutions, Wikipedia became one of those influential institutions. They started their march and basically took it over.”

In October 2020, Wikipedia also banned editors from displaying “user boxes” that would demonstrate opposition to same-sex “marriage” and support for traditional marriage. User boxes supporting traditional marriage were deemed to be “inflammatory or divisive” and promoting “bigotry.”

This reminds me of the movie CHERNOBYL when the Physicist is told after his testimony he will be erased and other people will be given credit for his work.

UPDATE NEW NEWS:

Not only does the vaccine do NOTHING for the Delta Variant---

BUT apparently the virus -- under it's "official" assigned name of "SARS COv2" -- has NEVER been truly ISOLATED.

[The "official" name for the CoVid 19 virus is "SARS COv2"---for proof of that, see this link:
The Naming System Behind SARS-CoV-2 ]

Given that---How CAN they design ANY vaccine that would "work" when they don't know what they're trying to design AGAINST???

See below:

A Dad in Alberta, Canada has rocked the world re: Covid-19.

He got fined $1200.00 back in Dec. for being at a gathering without a mask. He filed a petition against the head of Health Ministry for hard evidence that the SARS COv2 virus had been isolated. After intimidation and stall tactics, the Health Minister had to admit that there was no proof that the virus had ever been isolated. EPIC!!!

Covid Vaccines: The Good, The Bad, The Ugly
Israel: Pfizer vaccine effectiveness by outcome and time of vaccination (MOH/Segal)
Updated: July 30, 2021
Published
: July 23, 2021

The latest data from Israel and the UK on covid vaccine effectiveness.

The latest data from Israel, which has used primarily the Pfizer mRNA vaccine, indicates that vaccine effectiveness against Delta coronavirus infection and symptomatic (“mild”) disease has dropped from about 95% to about 40%, whereas effectiveness against hospitalization and severe disease (i.e. low blood oxygen levels) remains at 80% to 90% (see chart above).

Importantly, in people who got vaccinated already in January 2021 (primarily the elderly), protection against infection and mild disease may already have dropped to near 0% (see chart above). Moreover, since the Delta covid outbreak is still accelerating in Israel, the effectiveness against hospitalization and severe disease may further decrease (due to lags in hospitalizations).
(Update: New data from Hebrew University shows that protection against severe disease has already dropped to 80%; compared to the original 96%, this results in a five-fold increase in residual risk.)

In the UK, which has primarily used the AstraZeneca DNA adenovector vaccine, the latest estimate by researchers at University College London indicates an effectiveness against infection of about 20% and a total effectiveness against severe disease of about 60%. In very senior citizens, the effectiveness against severe disease may be even lower (due to a weaker immune response).

(A substantially higher estimate by Public Health England, recently published in the New England Journal of Medicine, was based on outdated data from early June. Interestingly, the British government hasn’t updated its data on AstraZeneca vaccine effectiveness since June 13. Update: New data from PHE confirms that effectiveness against infection has dropped below 20%.)
The Israeli data shown above indicates that effectiveness against infection and mild symptoms decreases rapidly over time and reaches near-zero levels after about half a year. Most likely, this is because covid vaccines do not achieve mucosal immunity (in contrast to natural infection) and serum antibody levels (i.e. antibodies in the blood) decrease within months (see chart below).

Thus, the false promise of very high protection against “symptomatic infection”, found during official vaccine trials, was simply based on very high short-term serum antibody levels mimicking mucosal immunity. Conceivably, the pharmaceutical companies may even have known that this was just a (very lucrative) “flash in the pan” and not a lasting protective effect.
In contrast, protection against severe disease is achieved by lower serum antibody levels in combination with immunological memory (B cells) and cellular immunity (T cells). However, the Delta variant has already achieved partial immune evasion (as did Beta and Gamma, but not Alpha), and future coronavirus variants will likely achieve almost complete immune evasion.

Thus, vaccine protection even against severe disease will likely further decrease due to new variants, or, in the very worst case, will turn into antibody-dependent disease enhancement (ADE), if high levels of non-neutralizing antibodies aggravate the infection. Indeed, this is what happened in the case of vaccines against SARS-1 and dengue fever.

To prevent such a decrease in protection against severe disease, or to restore short-term protection against infection and mild disease, updated “booster shots” will likely become necessary. (Update: On July 29, Israel announced “booster shots” for people over 60 years of age.)

However, there is a very real risk that additional vaccinations, which inject or induce the coronavirus spike protein, could substantially increase the risk of serious cardiovascular and neurological adverse events, such as strokes, GBS and heart muscle inflammation. Globally, covid vaccines may already have killed tens of thousands of people. Alternatives include safer oral vaccine candidates or medically supervised, low-dose oral live virus challenges in low-risk people.

Furthermore, the millions of people who were told that vaccination will protect them against a coronavirus infection will soon have to realize (once again) that this is not the case: instead, most of them will get infected anyway. On the positive side, this may actually provide additional mucosal immunity to large parts of the population while being mostly protected against severe disease.

Indeed, data from Israel as well as recent studies all indicate that a previous coronavirus infection continues to offer the best protection against future infections and disease.

In contrast, vaccination cannot achieve “sterile immunity” against infection and infectiousness. Thus, the whole idea of “vaccination certificates” has become obsolete – at least from a medical and epidemiological perspective – and should be rejected: the claim that it’s just “the unvaccinated” that are driving outbreaks – a claim made by many authorities – is simply false.

For instance, just this week a “fully vaccinated” Australian managed to pre-symptomatically infect about 60 people at a party in the United States. Many similar stories have already been reported in Europe and Israel: fully vaccinated people can easily transmit the virus even to large groups. Hence, imposing “vaccination certificates” or “green passes” may only serve a political purpose.

(Update: New data from Israel shows that “only 20%” of fully vaccinated people have infected others in public spaces. While authorities claim that this is a success, in reality, it is not any different from unvaccinated people, thus confirming zero effectiveness against infection and transmission.)

In many countries, mass vaccination campaigns have themselves triggered large coronavirus outbreaks (“post-first dose spike”), possibly due to a combination of vaccine-induced temporary immune suppression and infections at large indoor vaccination centers visited by thousands of people. The vaccine-induced temporary immune suppression may also explain the frequently observed post-vaccination appearance of shingles (i.e. herpes zoster reactivation).

Concerning children, since covid remains mostly asymptomatic or mild in them anyway, and since vaccination cannot prevent infection and infectiousness, the vaccination of children and even of young low-risk adults becomes increasingly difficult to justify, especially given the very real vaccine-associated cardiovascular risks to them (e.g. teen myocarditis and cerebral blood clots).
A look at covid data in places like Israel, the UK and Portugal – which were first in Europe to experience the Delta variant summer wave – confirms that, while infections have skyrocketed, hospitalizations have remained rather low and deaths have remained very low so far (see charts below). In contrast, in countries with a low vaccination rate – such as India, Russia, as well as many Asian and African countries, Delta covid deaths have reached all-time record levels (see below).

In conclusion, and as argued previously, vaccine protection against infection and “mild disease” has pretty much collapsed, whereas protection against severe disease and death remains at a reasonable level, with the partial exception of the most senior citizens and especially nursing home residents, some of whom have never mounted a neutralizing antibody response to the vaccine. Moreover, future coronavirus variants will likely achieve additional immune evasion.

Given the current situation and outlook, it may once again be emphasized that research and implementation of early treatment options for high-risk patients – especially anti-viral, anti-inflammatory (immuno-modulatory) and anti-thrombotic treatment – should be a top priority.

Did The CDC Director Just Accidentally Admit That Vaccination Passports Are Futile?
print-icon

Authored by 'Sundance' via The Last Refuge blog,
They are just making up narratives now, and the media are not calling them out on it….

The Director of the CDC made an important admission during an interview today on CNN. CDC Director Rochelle Walensky stated the vaccine does not prevent COVID-19 infection, nor does it stop the vaccinated person from transmitting the infection or the delta variant.

According to Director Walensky, the only benefit from the vaccine now is presumably that it reduces the severity of symptoms.

If a vaccinated and non-vaccinated person have the same capacity to carry, shed and transmit the virus – with or without symptoms – then what difference does a vaccination passport or vaccination ID make?

According to the CDC TODAY, both the vaxxed and non-vaxxed person walking into a restaurant, store, group, venue or workplace present the exact same risk to other people there, so how does the presentation of proof of vaccine make any difference?

WATCH:
(UPDATE – Google removed the video, I replaced with Rumble)

Additionally, her entire statement makes no sense.

There is no evidence that vaccinated asymptomatic carriers are asymptomatic because of the vaccine. There are likely just as many asymptomatic non-vaccinated carriers. The data shows an equally distributed infection rate regardless of vaccination rate, which is simultaneously admitted by Direcor Walensky, which, as an outcome, is an admission that undercuts the entire argument for compulsory vaccines.

The reverse is also evident in the data. There are just as many vaxxed carriers who are symptomatic (ie. sick), as there are un-vaxxed carriers who are symptomatic (ie. sick). The percentage of vaxxed and non-vaxxed people hospitalized it identical to the vaxxed/non-vaxxed population around the hospital.

In regional populations with extremely high vaccination rates, the COVID infection rate continues unabated.
The percentage of vaccinated people hospitalized is identical to the percentage of people vaccinated in the community.

In Gibraltar, 99% of the population vaccinated; COVID infection rate climbs. In Iceland over 75% of population vaccinated; infection rate climbs. Singapore and Israel show the same thing [Data Sets Here]. So what value is the vaccination passport?

"One Step Closer To Dictatorship": Joe Rogan Slams Vaccine Passports, Warns Vax May Cause 'Virulent Mutations'
print-icon

Joe Rogan raised eyebrows during a Friday episode of his podcast, where he railed against vaccine passports and suggested that the vaccine may in fact lead to vax-resistant SARS-CoV-2 mutations.
Now you have a mini dictator. You have one step away from a king. One step closer. You’re moving one step closer to dictatorship. That’s what the f**k is happening. That’s what’s going to happen with the vaccine passport. That’s what’s going to happen if they close borders. You can’t enter New York City unless you have your papers! You can’t go here unless you have that! You can’t get on a plane unless you do what I say.
Watch:
Rogan - who acknowledge that he's not a doctor or an anti-vaxx person, says that concerned doctors have been anonymously sending him studies - including one which asserts that an imperfect vaccine can lead to 'highly virulent pathogens,' and that 'vaccines that keep the host alive but still allow transmission can thus allow virulent strains to circulate in a population.'

"The very sort of environment that we’re creating by having so many people vaccinated with a vaccine that doesn’t kill off the virus, it actually can lead to a more potent virus. Try finding that story anywhere," said Rogan, who was referring to a peer-reviewed paper published in 2015, in which its authors - from Penn State and the Pirbright Institute concluded that "anti-disease vaccines that do not prevent transmission can create conditions that promote the emergence of pathogen strains that cause more severe disease in unvaccinated hosts."
Watch the whole segment below:

Meanwhile, mRNA pioneer Dr. Robert malone points out that if 95% of severe patients in Israel were indeed vaccinated, and 85-90% of hospitalizations are among the truly vaccinated, it could suggest Antibody-dependent enhancement (ADE) is occurring, in which antibodies generated during an immune response can bind to a pathogen, but are unable to prevent infection - instead acting as a Trojan Horse.
Rogan's comments drew immediate rebuke from the usual suspects:
Rogan supporters showed up to defend the host:

Data Suggests Vaccines Make "Limited Difference In Infectiousness" Of Delta Variant: PHE
print-icon

Authored by Lily Zhou via The Epoch Times,
Vaccinated people infected with the Delta variant of the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus, which causes COVID-19, may be as infectious as their unvaccinated counterparts, early analysis from Public Health England (PHE) suggests.
This coincides with a recent study from the United States, where similar results were observed in Wisconsin.

“Some initial findings … indicate that levels of virus in those who become infected with Delta having already been vaccinated may be similar to levels found in unvaccinated people,” PHE said in a statement.
“This may have implications for people’s infectiousness, whether they have been vaccinated or not,” it added.
“However, this is early exploratory analysis and further targeted studies are needed to confirm whether this is the case.”
The Delta variant, first identified in India, is currently the dominant CCP virus variant in England.
In a technical briefing (pdf) published on Friday, PHE said that NHS Test and Trace case data shows that since June 14, where cycle threshold (Ct) value data are available, the mean and median lowest Ct values are similar between vaccinated and unvaccinated people with the Delta variant, “with a median of 17.8 for unvaccinated and 18.0 for those with 2 vaccine doses.”
Ct value is the number of cycles needed to boost the viral signal in a sample when conducting an RT-PCR test.
The non-age-stratified data indicates that “whilst vaccination may reduce an individual’s overall risk of becoming infected, once they are infected there is limited difference in viral load (and Ct values) between those who are vaccinated and unvaccinated,” PHE said.
“Given they have similar Ct values, this suggests limited difference in infectiousness,” the document reads, adding that test-seeking behaviour and true changes in the data such as the age distribution of cases can influence the findings.
A recent study from Wisconsin, the United States observed a similar result.
The preprint of the study, which is not yet peer-reviewed, said “no difference in viral loads” was found when comparing unvaccinated individuals to those who have vaccine “breakthrough” infections, and that “individuals with vaccine breakthrough infections frequently test positive with viral loads consistent with the ability to shed infectious viruses.”
However, these findings contradict the findings of another recent study by Imperial College London (ICL).
The ICL led REal-time Assessment of Community Transmission study-1 published the preprint of its latest report, which said among all positive tests, the median Ct value (the number of cycles needed to boost the viral signal) was 27.6 for vaccinated participants, and 23.1 for unvaccinated participants, suggesting vaccinated people are less likely to pass the virus on to others.
Vaccines ‘May Be Less Effective’ Against Lambda Variant
In a separate statement, PHE said that “there is preliminary laboratory evidence to suggest that vaccination and previous infection may be less effective at preventing infection” with the Lambda (B.1.621).
“However, this data is very limited and more research is required. There is no evidence to suggest that [it] is more transmissible than the dominant Delta variant,” it added.
According to PHE, England has 37 confirmed cases of the Lambda variant.
In a new risk assessment (pdf), PHE said that while there’re no real-world data on vaccine effectiveness against the variant, pseudovirus data from the UK indicates it may evade vaccine-derived immunity.
The document also said that there’s evidence indicating the variant evades natural immunity from previous Delta infections.
A recently published preprint of a Japanese study said the Lambda variant (C.37) exhibits higher infectivity and immune resistance.
The latest official data shows 88.9 percent of the UK’s adults have received at least one dose of a CCP virus vaccine, and 74.1 percent have received both doses of a CCP virus vaccine.
Case numbers in the recently wave of infections peaked at a similar level to those seen in January, but the numbers of hospitalisations and deaths were far lower than those of the last wave.
There is currently no long-term data on the effectiveness and the safety of the vaccines.

More Dangerous Side Effects Potentially Linked To mRNA Vaccines, EU Warns

As shares of MRNA-vaccine purveyors Moderna and BioNTech tumbled on Wednesday, Reuters reported that the EMA, the EU's medicines regulator, is looking into new potential side effects from the still-experimental MRNA jabs, including suspicious skin reactions and kidney ailments.
According to Reuters, three new conditions have been reported by a small number of people after vaccination with jabs from Pfizer and Moderna. The ailments include Erythema multiforme, a form of allergic skin reaction; glomerulonephritis, or kidney inflammation; and nephrotic syndrome, a renal disorder that leads to heavy urinary protein losses. All of the cases are being studied by the EMA to determine whether the vaccines might be linked to the conditions.

This isn't the first time regulators have raised issues with an MRNA vaccine. As we reported a few months ago, the FDA determined that one side effect of the jabs in a small number of male patients with certain complications included heart inflammation. Still, the FDA, CDC and WHO have insisted that the risks posed by the jabs are far outweighed by their benefits to society.
The finding comes as Israeli health authorities have found that a small number of patients still managed to get infected with the virus even after their third dose of the vaccine.
Neither Pfizer nor Moderna responded to Reuters' request for comment.

Just over 43.5MM doses of Moderna's vaccine, Spikevax, have been administered in the European Economic Area as of July 29, compared to more than 330MM doses of the Pfizer shot, Comirnaty, which was developed in partnership with Germany's BioNTech.
Details about the new side effects were pretty sparse, with the EMA saying only that it had requested more data from the vaccine's makers so they could determine any potential relation. So far, the EMA hasn't made any recommendation regarding the labeling of the vaccines, and whether any new side effects should be noted.
The agency disclosed the new side effects during a routine update to the safety section of the approved vaccines' database.
MRNA jabs rely on new technology that reprograms the immune system to fight off the virus, however critics maintain that long term side effects and safety risks simply aren't well understood since the jabs were rushed to the finish line.

CDC Forced To "Adjust" Sunday's Florida "Record" COVID Count Lower By Almost 50% After State Health Department Cries Foul On Data

The CDC has been forced to "adjust" its Covid-19 case tracker for Florida after the state's health department took to Twitter earlier this week to call out incorrect data.
As of Tuesday, the CDC "was working with the state’s health department" to get the data right, according to a report from Fox News.
Florida's health department called out the incorrect CDC information publicly, stating earlier this week: "Wrong again. The number of cases @CDCgov released for Florida today is incorrect. They combined MULTIPLE days into one. We anticipate CDC will correct the record."
The CDC had reported 28,317 new Covid cases on Sunday, but had "adjusted" the number to 19,584 cases by Tuesday, the report says. Florida's health department claimed that there were 15,319 cases on Sunday a number that is almost 50% lower than the CDC's originally reported number.
"On Tuesday, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported the state has surpassed 20,000 for its 7-day average of new cases, a day after the federal agency misreported numbers given by the Florida Department of Health by combining data from the last three days into two," Fox reported on Wednesday, after first pointing out the data discrepancy earlier in the week.
Florida's hospitalizations were up by more than 1,110 to 14,787 on Tuesday.
Recall, earlier this week we noted that Governor Ron DeSantis was threatening to withhold salaries from school officials who defied his mask mandate ban.
According to a statement issued by DeSantis' office - just days after his threat to cut funding resulted in a 'pause' on a proposed mask mandate in Broward County - one potential consequence for defiant school officials would be a loss of income.
“With respect to enforcing any financial consequences for noncompliance of state law regarding these rules and ultimately the rights of parents to make decisions about their children’s education and health care decisions, it would be the goal of the State Board of Education to narrowly tailor any financial consequences to the offense committed. For example, the State Board of Education could move to withhold the salary of the district superintendent or school board members, as a narrowly tailored means to address the decision-makers who led to the violation of law," reads the statement.
...unintentional? Too late to correct all those Sunday morning political shows 'gloating' over DeSantis' state outbreak.
