Herbal Recommended herbal courses, classes, books or DVDs?

I know there are some sharp herbal people on here and would like some opinions, please.

I saw that the School of Natural Healing (Dr. Christopher's) has their Family Herbalist online course for sale right now for only $150; the regular price is $295. Has anyone here use this? Anyone have opinions?

Anyone have class/course recommendations? I need to start as inexpensively as possible.

I'm also looking for herbal books or DVDs that would also cover growing and harvesting as well as use.

For some reason, I just saw this thread - and I'm very interested in people's input, as well. I really like Practical Herbalism by Fritchey, and the books by rosemary Gladstone (IIRC)

FWIW, I bought the course by Dr Christopher but haven't done much with it yet. Looking through the books, it seems to be kind of big on enemas and I was kind of put off.
