My wife would send me out to the shed and keep the dog as well.

It would be my feed bowl on the back porch and I could stay clean and get drinking water with the garden hose.

She'd also probably give me an old comforter to wad up and sleep on to, she's nice like that.....

Some of the shelters now are “No-Kill” shelters.
Unfortunately, or not, most require all incoming males to be neutered.
