Thanks for the Classic Half Cherry cookie recipe, Homestyle, sounds good.
I'm going to see if my hubby will let me share his Shortbread recipe - you would not believe his shortbread... it melts in your mouth! He makes it every year....
Here's one I'm going to try out for the holidays:
Sweet Cherry Frozen Loaf
16 oz Dark sweet cherries
8 3/4 oz Crushed pineapple
11 oz Mandarin oranges
8 oz Cream cheese
1 c Sour cream
1/2 c Sugar
1/2 ts Salt
2 c Miniature marshmallows
1/2 c Nuts, chopped (optional)
Drain fruits.
Reserve a few cherries and orange sections for garnish.
Beat cream cheese until fluffy; blend in sour cream, sugar and salt. Fold in fruits, marshmallows and pecans.
Pour into 8 inch loaf pan, and freeze 6 hours or overnight.
Unmold and garnish.
