Crash Test Dummy
This is a requested favorite to bring for dessert to party's I attend a lot. It's really a simple recipe to make.
1 pound ricotta cheese
1 pound cream cheese, softened
1 pound sour cream
5 teaspoons cornstarch
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
5 eggs, slightly beaten
1 1/2 cups sugar
Mix the ingredients above one by one into a bowl with an electric mixer, until texture is smooth. Pour into a 10 inch spring pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 65-70 minutes or until a toothpick placed in the center comes out clean. Cool and then refrigerate. Serve plain or with glazed cherries on the side. (Cherry Pie filling works in a pinch also.)
