You MUST include a synopsis of the video. A synopsis is not the title; it is a summary of the content of the video including the major points, the conclusion etc.

Yes, this means that you actually have to do some work, instead of just copy-pasting the link.

Granted, but when you're posting an information video, such as e.g. the Lew Rockwell video about the Wuhan virus, neither of those is the case, and that's what the policy is intended to address. We're all adults here; it should be pretty apparent which videos are going to need an explanation.

There are people here who want us to watch an hour long video when a two paragraph explanation would be just as good.

Just a reminder... we did give Marsh an exemption on the Coronavirus thread, as she was gathering videos from all over the net. I've also found it frustrating, but believe the advantage of getting the info in one place before it vanishes down the memory hole outweighs the disadvantages. I just end up skimming past 95% of it...
