EUtimes is just another Sorcha Faal mirror to a great extent. If you look at the Sorcha main site and the Eutimes main site most of the stories are copied over from there. Going to Eutimes and bringing up the story of Russia's top religious leader [ect] and click on the source and it brings you right back to whatdoesitmean which is Sorcha Faal/David Booth. As long as we're on the subject Superstation95.com should be on our list as well. We've debunked several of their stories in the last few months. It poses as a news station out of New York city but no such radio station even exists.

Way back when there was a list over at TOL of the sites SF/DB owned I think at that time there were about 24 of them.

Thanks folks. The website and story felt like another Sorcha Faal type of place so I'm not surprised.

I have found several bullshit articles posted on Facebook lately that are links from jewsnews.com. They take some truth and spin a bullshit story around it. sometimes siting a foreign language newspaper as the original source, where if I run translation software on it, the foreign source never said what jewsnews claimed.

Since the "industry" of bogus news sites is exploding, it's a good idea to have lists of them. Most don't appear immediately to be fake, like "The Onion"; they are meant to deceive and trick people, not amuse. They are very nasty, and naturally mix fact with fiction to make the kae news articles look plausible. I did find a good list a while ago and it is "somewhere" on TB2.... Can't find it again. So, here are some lists I just found.

This website has three categories. The third category called "Clickbait" (description below) may have some decent sites or articles, if anyone determines that any of these are not "hoax", please report back. I know "Natural News" has articles which mix fact with stuff that just is not. I am not familiar with most of the sites listed below, so if anyone knows more (some are real, or other fake ones) please post.

Something got posted in the bomb shelter which turned out to not be true, and was from this site linked below, so probably another one to at least vet carefully before posting from.

Yes, just logged on because yet another bogus story hit from that fake news site, Christian Times Newspaper. They are really trying to screw up the internet by flooding it with fake news and bot posters -- like the spam has clogged up the email system.

Topix.com is just an umbrella site for a multitude of special interest/regional forums. You might even find a forum for your town. It is not a fake news/clickbait/satire/hoax site, but neither would I rely on it for real news. I would say the regional forums lean more towards local gossip, but they may be a good place to find what the locals are talking bout. But, you never know what you might find there. It is not exactly moderated.

Is there a way to consolidate the proscribed sites alphabetically without out having to read 2 pages of postings? I've violated the rules a couple times & found that I'm reluctant to post items for fear of getting smacked. People just don't always have time to research the proscribed thread & making it a little more reader friendly would help.

We’ve already had that argument. Propaganda mouthpieces or not, they’re more valid than, say, Sorcha Faal sites. One has to be careful, or we'll end up banning ALL source sites. And what then, sit around bitching to each other about nothing?

Sanity is not statistical
New here and reviewing this thread. I don't disagree with the list and can think of some not on it that would meet the intent.
However, on the various forums I've frequented over the years, it has been made clear that the heart of the problem isn't the site, it's the confirmation bias of the individual reading it. Those sites wouldn't exist if there wasn't someone out there following them.

It tells a lot about the person when they quote from those places. Anyone applying a modicum of critical thinking can suss out the BS from them 'if' they are not applying confirmation bias. Conversely, banning them tends to confirm the bias of those that would believe them. As such, in the past I've used that as a barometer to get the general feel of the person in question.

That said and withstanding copyright issues, people who follow such sites will tend to parrot what they are saying without a direct quote if those sites are banned and or restricted.

Getting to point, what criteria (if any) is being used to guard against intent violation verses letter violation? Not arguing, just asking the question.

We’ve had that discussion off-and-on for several years now. I’d say that your statement on reader-bias is partly true, but these sites are deliberately trying to mislead people and sow FUD and anger. Further, they have traction today because stuff we thought was wild eyed woo 10-15 years ago has in many cases become reality. One can dismiss reports of a purple people eater as woo, until scientists announce that a purple people eater has been captured, for example. No, the disinfonsite succeed precisely because the world, in actual fact, has become insane.

Now to your question:

Getting to point, what criteria (if any) is being used to guard against intent violation verses letter violation? Not arguing, just asking the question.

We don’t “guard against” anything. We don’t assume anything. A post from an offending website is locked, moved or deleted and the member informed that the source is on the list. Those who continue to post from such a site after being warned a couple times will get a stern talking to.

You can add gold-silver.us to the do not patron list. They've had an infestation from storm front on the site and basically have turned that site into a mini storm front. The main admin and a lower admin have turned bigot. A lot of hate and anti-America propaganda flows through that site.
A few members are pro-communist.

Epidemiologist Behind Highly-Cited Coronavirus Model Drastically Revises Model

Epidemiologist Neil Ferguson, who created the highly-cited Imperial College London coronavirus model, which has been cited by organizations like The New York Times and has been instrumental in governmental policy decision-making, offered a massive revision to his model on Wednesday.

Ferguson’s model projected 2.2 million dead people in the United States and 500,000 in the U.K. from COVID-19 if no action were taken to slow the virus and blunt its curve.

However, after just one day of ordered lockdowns in the U.K., Ferguson is presenting drastically downgraded estimates, revealing that far more people likely have the virus than his team figured. Now, the epidemiologist predicts, hospitals will be just fine taking on COVID-19 patients and estimates 20,000 or far fewer people will die from the virus itself or from its agitation of other ailments, as reported by New Scientist Wednesday.

Ferguson thus dropped his prediction from 500,000 dead to 20,000.
