NYC PD sent an SOS to the task force 2 days ago-running low on people because of covid issues, no PPE. Raytheon and Honeywell contacted, Pernod called. NYC PD had 6000 gallons of it shipped within 2 hours, along with hundreds of tyvek suits and gloves and masks.

Hospitals to be compensated directly for coronavirus treatment of individuals. Insurance might not be needed if we get sick.

IL, GA, MI have increasing rates of positives-can see the coming hot spots.......

I've been worried that if either me or DH (or both) have to be in hospital for several weeks it could wipe us out financially. I don't see how this could be feasible for the insurance companies, though. They'd go bankrupt.

The administration and the insurance companies are in talks to get some form of help from the .gov for not charging for corona treatment. VP Pence said something could occur in the next few days.
So, the insurance companies probably won't take much of a hit for doing this. They make more than enough profit as it is anyway
It's a good move on the administration's part. People wouldn't normally want treatment if financial considerations were in play. This eliminates the worry for the citizen and ensures they will get treatment, and not suffer financial ruin as a result.
That's huge for millions of Americans.
