Somewhere between the bunker (deep in da woods) and glued (try not to stay too glued, it'll drive you nuts).

But I know it's coming. Most mags are getting topped off. Guns getting rebuilt, cleaned, checked, etc. Laser rangefinder soon, so I know exactly where the bodies will be dropped. Trying to make amends with my God but I'm a bit of a shitehead so not sure how that's going to go.

abby normal

Waiting for the big one any day but not glued (but peeking periodically )

Playing Legos with my little boy and watching the hummingbirds and butterflies. Target practice helps, I'm a dead shot with the nerf gun.

If we make it to Christmas without something major happening, it will be a miracle.

I know we are saved by Grace alone but those 'Lordship Salvation' people have my head spinning.

Well, obviously, I'm not some super-duper Holly roller. Just trying to be a little better person without totally eating a bowl of shit soup for every ass I meet. Figure 'Grace' isn't Carte Blanche for being a shithead.

I didn't mean to imply that you were one of them. I changed 'these' to 'those'.

This pretty much sums up how I feel. Only I'm playing kitchen and dolls with my toddler.
I voted a bit concerned, but I'm watchful. I think everyday things get a bit crazier. However, I refuse to live my life in fear.

I'm too busy to pay close attention at this point, putting out fires or realizing that it's "time" to implement the "when this gets to this point, do this" plans. Won't be bunkered till all that's done - but then I'm sure other ideas will show up on that list.

Never, ever, underestimate Man's capacity for stupidity. Likewise, Man's fears, hatreds, and prejudices being wielded against his fellow Man... If Man were 1/10th as good as dogs or cats seem to think us, the world would be close to perfect. Obviously, we don't live up to their expectations...

Never have I seen so many wobbling plates, nearly fumbled balls, or banana peels with attendant pits avoided, as now... Man seems suicidally bent upon his own destruction. If not the slow death of torturing, defiling, and denuding Gaia, he's intent upon rape, murder, abusing children, and all sorts of perversion not found in Nature...

As our spirits are eternal, and we do get "recycled," perhaps its time to start the cleaning process again...

Just busy getting ready for what ever goes down. Thankfully up here on the mountain folks are pretty conservative for the most part. Plus it would be easy to shut down the few roads up into our area. The worst issue we would have to face is a big one......FIRE!! Hopefully we'll have a few good snows before the fecal material hits the fan.

In the mean time....prepping - prepping - prepping. Gotta call in this morning and order our cuts for the half a hog we just harvested. Have half an Angus due to harvest around the first of the year. YUM!! Should have the greenhouse up and running before the election. Otherwise just chilling in the rarefied air.

I voted "watchful and ready", but in reality, I'm about half way in between "watchful and ready" and "glued to the screen". I could have voted for both.

pretty much just waiting, but still working the dillon and loading more ammo, but have to admit, I watch the riots on live feeds on youtube every nite, mabye 3 hours, the stupid is very strong in these people,

Voted watchful and waiting, but really am watching the screen for riots.
DW thinks it is gong to happen any day now, me, not so much.

I always maintain a "watchful and ready" attitude. I've pretty much tuned out to what's going on in the news realm. I do keep up with our local news, and get bits and pieces here. I know enough of what's going on to have enough sense to see that things are continuing to go down hill from here on out. That's why I can also say that I'm glued to the screen so to speak waiting for anything to happen at any time. The Book predicts that all these things will come to pass. I'm a watcher.

Glued.

Everything's a panic right now and somehow the panic is actually getting WORSE. The panic will hit a fever pitch by November, until you get this seven-second audio clip with accompanying video:

God has a plan, Trust it!
I would love to see the data plotted poll by poll on a line graph to see the ups and downs, and maybe put in a few "milestone" markers historically when they have risen to see what too place at that time to raise anxiety (i.e. 9/11, earthquakes, riots etc). Would be an interesting thing to see poll after poll

I voted “glued to the screen” because my state of concern is definitely above “watchful and ready”. Previous states of alert were usually weather-related or more a general concern of what could happen if.... While I’m not in a panic by any means, the current state of uncertainty involving Covid-19 and related protocols, disruptions to supply chain, and civil unrest make this a very unsettling time.

Bethshaya, I actually did that a few years ago. It is a lot of work, and frankly, is very subjective as someone (me) has to decide what is an important event and what isn't. I brought it up to date and then maintained it for about a year, maybe a bit less, and then dropped it because I was constantly getting complaints about what was and wasn't included as an "important event".

11 hours in, I found the poll on page 3 and it now stands at 2.37.

As always, Thanks Topusaret for doing these polls.
I find them interesting in many ways, mainly it makes me think about what I really feel at the time.

Not worried. Nothing is going to happen before election day. After that, it could get interesting. All my preps are ready, if I get around to it, I might add the new optics.

I didn't vote, because what I am is BURNT OUT. I am tired of going to the store every week just to replace what we ate the week before. I usually only shop every 2 -3 weeks, or longer. I hate going to the store anyway and dealing with regular idiots. I hate having to go multiple places just to find my regular groceries. Frankly, I'm just exhausted.

Try a little harder,at least hard enough to know for sure how you stand,it is important.

Checked watchful and ready,my normal level.Only exceeded this one time, that was at the beginning of the covid epidemic and i could see some of what was coming. After a while i learned i could deal with it.

And the 61st Prepper Anxiety Poll closes at 2.24. Significantly lower than the highest score. Somewhat average, overall, especially considering the lackluster response to the poll.
