The financial/economic situation has me Very concerned. I'm quite sure Trump will do just about anything to make it hold together until after the 2020 election but I feel it won't last that long.

Have reverted to watchful and ready because I have absolutely no idea what's going on any more.

I'm in the same boat. Just too much weird stuff going on now and it's only going to get crazier as we get closer to election time. I have a feeling "weird" is just going to fly out the window on the insanely crazy stuff that is headed our way. I almost anticipate a full on melt down especially if Trump slam dunks the election. I expect liberal heads exploding left and right. :screw: And if by some fluke of nature or human cheating and manipulation Trump loses the Lib's will go TOTAL snake shit and "Katie bar the door" they will go for broke and it will be time for revolution. :shkr: :boohoo:

I empathize. I said something similar earlier.

If Trump wins again, it's going to be a REEE storm from all the sky screamers, potentially that very night. It will be "Not My President" all over again, but this time even more so since it's happening a second time.

If Trump loses, the Dems will go hogwild dismantling EVERYTHING Trump's done over the last four years. Of course, that also assumes that Trump doesn't have one last booby trap to spring before he goes, which may leave the country gutted.

I am the Winter Warrior
I voted...

""watchful, ready, and checking the preps, just in case.""

I am not in any physical shape to survive an 'all out', so I have accepted my demise in such a situation. And that acceptance has brought a world of peace to my mind and life. Right now, I could stare Death in the face and laugh at him when I spit in his eye. But any situation short of that and I'm still doing the best I can to survive by doing what I voted. "Some times the only way to win(a battle) is to fight like you're already dead".

For the first time in the history of these polls, I voted "a bit concerned." That will change of course, but FOR NOW, with Trump in the big chair, I'm pretty optimistic.

On The Level
I voted 'a bit concerned.'
That's just a general concern. Most of my concern being around my personal situation in the grand scheme of things.
If President Trump gets a 2nd term I'll likely be less concerned.
I do think there's some massive spiritual warfare going on now, but I'm confident it's more of a death throws thing than advancement of their evil, reprobate sickness.
Also, I'm just tired of worrying.
Cheers and God bless.

I voted "watchful, ready, and checking the preps, just in case" for a couple of reasons - first, I've been freaking out about Dorian because my 88-year-old Mom is in Florida. (I'm better now - and she's fine.) Second, because the people who are guilty of crimes against our country and our constitution seem like they are all getting a "Get-out-of-jail-free" card every time. And third, because the fact that anyone in their right mind would even consider voting for any one of the democratic candidates has made me lose a lot of faith in the intelligence and integrity of my fellow Americans.

Nothing will happen this year. I expect next year to be exciting and entertaining (election year). After that, I will worry. In the mean time just doing the normal long term preparations, skill building, and more education.

I worry about “getting caught” in a situation that will require my shooting someone. That thought disturbs me greatly.

I guess the answer for me is: "a bit concerned". Firstly, having the nation's kids back in school has concerned me, lest they become the ultimate pawns. It angers me that such a thing is just a realistic possibility.

Also, I found myself actually angry a few days ago. That almost never happens...and if this unholy mess can fumble around and stumble upon my switch, what is it doing to other folks who are less committed than I to never ever ever doing harm?

It's disorienting to find myself in a corrupt and crumbling society. I am concerned for myself, wondering where i will find something whole enough to lean upon. The thought of other younger folks, with less experience and fewer resources, wandering around feeling the same rage as do I.... That terrifies me.

I’m between choice 3 and 4.
We’re ready if some disruptions were to happen, but also feeling like the other shoe could drop and our country or world could go into chaos and skirmishes at anytime.

To me, the end times have really sped up.

I've always voted "watchful and ready", but this time I had to take pause to think about it. I'm always ready and watchful, but "glued to the screen" almost got my vote this time. It's almost like you can just feel evil and calamity waiting to happen any day now.

Funny how one’s “worries” about politics and brain dead activists for one liberal “cause” or another, just disappear when life hands you “bigger fish to fry”.

Perhaps we should thank God more for the blessings of “right NOW” and quit borrowing tomorrows anticipated trouble, as if He won’t be there to help.

For the first time, I voted "no worries."

I'm almost finished with the winter pantry stock-up, and that includes items like shoes that are increasing in price. Nights are dropping back into the 60s and upper 50s, so I'm sleeping a lot better. Realistically, I know that all sorts of things can go wrong, but I'm going to try to relax and enjoy the fall season as well as I can.

There is so much that I can't do anything about, and I'm at a point where it's just not worth raising my blood pressure over.

Goodness before greatness.
I tend to be influenced by pending events ‘a little over the visible horizon’ in time. Today I voted middle ground on the poll. Just watchful of the pool of consciousness.

Consciousness... Had this poll been conducted on July 2nd 2019, I’m sure the responses would have been different. I just revisited a couple of those threads this morning to see how far they evolved. From my vantage point, and even from reviewing today, things seemed to play out further with less noise. I was watching routines broken in that same timeframe, that just recently (last couple weeks) becoming routine again; and that’s all on that.

Human nature does not support extended hyper vigilant states of mind for extended periods of time. Acute awareness has a flux of ‘acknowledge and contend’ within a limited time frame of entertaining. After that ‘the experience’ is shelved and labeled in a manner the psyche can deal with.

Early July should have been stereotypical. You could see it on the faces of important people as they came ‘forth’ that day; and thank you again Sir for that day amid all the daze before and after.

Early July I would have voted freaked out and in my bunker even though I don’t have one. Still, even at the apex of events, I was never really there. I sensed intense negotiations, and that (((PING))) did not come back fail. This last July 4th will be remembered. It will ALWAYS be a very special one indeed.

My anxiety levels are back up again due to the multiplicity of threats/fragility/changes within the environment, our functional systems which are almost completely non-functional or have lost their legitimacy - including the rule of law not applying to everyone, and a distinct sense that time is almost "up".

As a result I'm not following news reports as closely anymore. Already know what to watch out for; where to look - but I haven't thought thru the extra security measures yet. Way too much work going on around here right now. And I need to stay calm and centered to make decisions as quickly and intelligently as possible, to not throw schedules off. The stainless steel fingernails are applied and SS panties ready to don, as needed... to do what has to be done, regardless of what chaos is going on around me.

Setting aside The Early July Factor, I concur with your assessment at the National level. ROL is going out the window. The 3rd Rail Progressive Communist Nazi’s that the insect looking congress critter takes orders are bringing the momentum for their movement. They have to keep it populist in their ranks with Green Revo-Social Memes; and they are framing and pacing objectives.

Clear and Present Danger and evolving.

I voted "totally freaked out and in my bunker" . . . because of synchronicity . . .

First, I suggested that "Hillary would be Biden's running mate and that he would be suicided just prior to inauguration."
and coincidentally, he had a blood vessel burst in his eye during a speech and the article described how he had an aneurysm in the past which nearly killed him.

Second, I have been saying "world population has doubled in 50 years which means that we have solved world hunger and healthcare"
and coincidentally, Sanders said World population has doubled in the last 50 years, so we need to consider abortion for population control to reduce global warming"

OMG! OMG! OMG!

I live in Iowa which has been saturated by Democratic presidential candidates since about 5 minutes after the last election. My concern is beginning to increase as I listen to them promoting a socialistic government. I'm not a huge Trump fan but I'm definitely not a fan of any socialistic candidate. As for the economy its due for another correction whomever is elected. Whatever choice of a freebee you want you'll find a Democratic candidate offering it.

You (and now, a good percentage of media,) improperly used the word “Democratic” for the correct word DEMOCRAT.
That, for a Democrat, is a BORROWING OF HONOR from the word “democratic” THAT THEY NEITHER DESERVE NOR OBSERVE!

There is no connection between "Democrats" and the concept of "Democratic."

For sure! I'm up to snuff on the seasonal preps and into winter, including oil change and new tires, but I want to spend more time hiking and eating outside this fall season, less time watching the news and such. A lot of it really is in God's hands. My fuming and fretting isn't going to change anything.

One thing we haven't done is define what the "worst" is for us, and what would drive us to the bunker (besides a hurricane or incoming missiles or Planet X, or whatever).

After 36 hours, the poll stands at 1.72.

Sacajawea, the "worst" is what each of us imagines to be the "worst" in our environment, generally as it pertains to continuing our currently lifestyle. At least, that's how I interpret it. YMMV

If Trump is re-elected in 2020, I will check off totally freaked and in my bunker. Right now, I’m watchful. I believe it will go full blown civil war in this country if Trump gets into a second term. If that does occur, nuclear war will soon follow. To see the Hong Kong demonstrators praising Trump, is a wake up call on how the tide is turning world wide.

And then we have ALL that debt....a powder keg is waiting to blow.

I voted 'watchful'. I was thinking last night when I heard the latest insane shit coming from the 'Progressive Socialist Party'....we would all be in our bunkers if this crap had come out 10 years ago, or even 2 years ago. Every week it is something different and it changes so fast we are now calloused to it. That in it's self is scary.
