Fair BUT...I am not defending Any religion , however this POS Pope is scum from the get go, that was the point.

If you equate the Pope with the be all and end all of the RC church then there is a much bigger issue.

Absolutely Agreed I can't argue and won't.

I usually don't argue religion at all. I just can't believe churches are behaving in a manor that isn't helping with the sick. It goes against the very nature of church and charity.

For any religion.

He isn't the only church leader who is promoting the vax.

I believe there have been many other stories of preachers, church elders, etc have told their flocks to be good little heathens and go get the mandated vax.

It isn't always just the Catholic Church.

No. Our Lord Jesus had enemies in every walk of life (and still does).

The Pharisees, Herodians, Sadducees, and Romans.

The enemy infiltrated the visible church long ago and has his minions in leadership every where.

Thats why we’re told that we’d know them by their fruits…

He's a Globalist since about 25-30 years - I think that's when he started being vocal about it - but he's been a Socialist from practically birth.

Yeah his hyperbole and hubris know no bounds, on that I agree.

I guess what screams at me is, all my life I've considered a Church as a sanctuary. A place where you go when your troubled. Churches were made for times like these. To help, to strengthen, to be uplifting and righteous.

And they are closed. Doors locked.

Believe me I'm not naive or being weepy, I'm pissed!

Where are all the "righteous" leaders? In line; lock, stock, and 2 smoking barrels, with the very people we are warned about.

Where are all the "martyrs" ? I know there are some and I'm not trying to discount what true believers are doing. I applaud them. I pray for them too.

Churchs, pre-Luther et al breakaways from Catholicism, were sanctuaries because of the Church in Rome's wealth & Power; literally, King makers. Even after people staring breaking away from Catholicism, many of the new faiths still had the ability to provide sanctuary for similar reasons. At that time, like it or not, TBTB had to recognise the concept unless of course you were hiding from Attila or Genghis; then get a weapon and extract a price for your life or ....

Most feudal-era holdings couldn't support the manpower required to apply total, absolute control; in general, they could deal w/ small issues but if 200± serfs rebelled en masse, probably not. If the lord of the manor put the rebels down hard, who'd do the work? Sort of a stalemate.

I think locking up churches started in N America courtesy of the Great Depression to keep people from squatting but I'd have to research that.

In any event, the current situation only supports my position that the bulk of organised faith groups today are in the game to support their own bureaucracies and wealth accumulation, not to actually provide real service to their followers. A perfect example: during a recent weather crisis in Texas, Joel Olsteen, on camera, refused to say why he wouldn't throw open his 'church facility' (a re-purposed stadium?) to temporarily house those whose homes had been destroyed. He did say, repeatedly, 'send money so we can do God's work' or words to that effect.

Granted, it might not be his sole decision - I don't know the structure of the hierarchy involved - but there was only one stated possibility of providing aid; send money. Not even a hint of 'taking it to the board of deacons' or similar.

Just my view but here, there seems to be a church on almost every 2nd-3rd intersection yet there are innumerable homeless and related issues and all those 'houses of worship' seem to be closed tight, until its time to accept donations.

I fully expect to be castigated for this as I know the vast majority of TB2K users are staunch in their Christian faiths but , would suggest folks follow their beliefs on a personal basis. If any good works flow from churches these days, its because such good Christians are in leadership positions in those churches.

While I try to act under Christian principles of Charity & Compassion in my own life, its been a long time since I've seen clear, consistent examples of that from any 'Church'. Phone Help Lines aren't what I consider clear and consistent examples; feet in the streets, open doors/access to aid when/as required are.

In fairness, I think trying to help someone who hasn't admitted to needing help and asked for same is a waste of resources but, maybe try to be accessible when someone gets to that point.

Open a freaking door and put out a hand.

And BTW, if I offended anyone, that was not my intent.

One at a time and no co-pope I'm aware of. To my knowledge Benedict XVI is the only recent retiree (since 1900) & I don't know if he's still alive.
Pope Benedict is still alive the last I heard and living (or prisoner) in a different part of Vatican city. As a practicing cradle Catholic, HE is still the Pope, IMHO.

We just started to lock our church at night a couple of years ago after it was caught on camera that a bunch of kids trying to set the place on fire. We knew the homeless were using the parts of it as a hotel at night and that was fine. But when you see some kids trying to break into the sanctuary (I guess to steal the wine even though the candle stands cost much more) and trying, and by the grace of God failing to light the place up, it makes you rethink what you are doing.

I have to confess; as a practicing alter boy before I became a lapsed Catholic, sacramental wine may have been inappropriately consumed @ Cdn Martyrs, Regina SK from time to time. The passage of time & dollar values involved render it all moot under law.

No B&E required; one of the other guys fathers was a locksmith & junior knew his way around the tools. That was my version of misspent youth.

I'm actually surprised Francis acknowledges the existence of the devil.

And (according to Wikipedia) Benedict XVI turned 94 earlier this month and is still alive.

I can truly say, Francis is an evil entity...and that is "another" thing I thought I would never say.....

Listen to the Vigano Tapes. Answers by Archbishop Vigano.

He clearly makes the current pope out to be evil.

Most can be found on Youtube. There will be 18 of them. Currently 14 have been released. Youtube banned #10 because it deals to much with the vaccine for their likes. You find it elsewhere.

P.S. It also looks like #1 and #2 have been pulled from Youtube.
