personally I do not believe it can be repaired at this point. I believe it can only be remade. who can know what the outcome of that will be? we CAN NOT know.
brings us to your next point - the WHITE HORSE - which I completely understand and accept as valid. BUT - if that be GODS divine plan for US, what is it that makes one consider that standing against the opposition - on the side we're presuming HE stands - will change what's been divinely ordained ?
I'm not at all suggesting that GOD requires our "help" in any of it. just pointing out that just as HE told NOAH to build an ark and just as he gave Joseph the interpretation of Pharaoh's dream of lean cows and fat cows, HE EXPECTS - actually HE REQUIRES - that WE help our selves . . . that we stand and be involved in our own destiny. our collective future is, was and always will be determined by OUR actions. that's CHOICE - the basis of free will. its OUR CHOICE that determines the outcome of all things - from our personal salvation to our CHOOSING to live retaining those "certain unalienable rights endowed by the Creator" all that Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness stuff those old dudes formed a "More Perfect Union" around way back when.
GOD calls each of us to be good stewards of our gifts. as such its QUITE difficult for me to accept anything that even remotely suggests HE would have us sit passively by and accept without recompense the destruction of what HE fashioned. while it may very well in fact be all over for POPUSA there's nothing that I can envision we as a people could possibly do to change the outcome of what HE's determined for the future of this country.

When I see a Rattlesnake, there is a thought process that takes about three fifths of a nanosecond where I identify the threat, determine if there is anything between me and the target I might not want to ventilate- and BOOM! I don't take weeks months and years to analyse every angle and answer why this thing needs to be deaded. It's actually KISS simple.
It chaps my arse that there is so much confusion and multiple layers to this current fiasco. If you are angry enough to do something about it, but sit there and stew in your own juices for a couple of decades, is there a good reason for that? If you're gonna blow, then blow and get it over with. If not- if all you have is complaints, then stop worrying about it and live your life. Enjoy life for a change. This really is a pretty place.

When we built this little Cabin, things were three times cheaper than they are now. Live humbly but well. Confortable and self sufficient and within your means. Screw the Jonses- you don't have to keep up with them, for they are not and never will be paying your bills. Get out of debt and stay that way. Double and triple pay if you have to but get out of debt. At one point, we were paying three land payments at a time. Every month. But we saved close to fifty grand in usury (interest).
If an old soldier can do it, you can.

Mama used to call that having to "keep up with the Jonses". I spoke about that upthread. Going into debt to look good to other people is a really stupid reason. Big debt with usury attached is even worse. Happens every day tho.
