Polls Show That The American People Are Extremely Angry... And They Are About To Get Even Angrier

Authored by Michael Snyder via The Economic Collapse blog,

This wasn’t supposed to happen. We were promised that once Joe Biden was in the White House that the tremendous anger that was building up in our country would start to subside, but that obviously is not happening.

In fact, as you will see below, Americans have been getting even angrier. Needless to say, the stunt that Joe Biden pulled last week is certainly not helping matters. When he visited Boise on Monday, enormous crowds of extremely angry protesters were waiting for him. And everywhere I go on social media this week, I am seeing huge explosions of anger.

What in the world is our country going to look like if all of this anger continues to grow?

Normally, it is either one side of the political spectrum or the other that is angry at any given time.

But here in September 2021, both sides of the political spectrum are very angry. Just check out these stunning numbers from a brand new CNN poll

A new CNN poll finds that 74% of U.S. adults now say they are “very or somewhat angry” about the way things are going in the U.S. today — that includes 88% of Republicans, 70% of independents and even 67% of Democrats. But wait, there’s more.
Another 69% of U.S. adults now say that things are going “pretty or very badly” in the country these days — that includes 91% of Republicans, 72% of independents and 49% of Democrats.
Those numbers are crazy. Just a few months ago, there was so much optimism, but now the mood of the nation has completely shifted.

Surprisingly, that same CNN poll asked a question about illegal immigration, and it found that even most Democrats are concerned about “the movement of undocumented immigrants”

And by the way, illegal immigration is still a concern for many in this nation. The CNN survey also found that 77% of U.S. adults say that it is important that the federal government “stops the movement of undocumented immigrants into the United States.” And the partisan breakdown: 95% of Republicans, 76% of independents and 52% of Democrats agreed.
Ever since Joe Biden entered the White House, giant throngs of people have been surging to our southern border, and this has created an unprecedented immigration crisis.

Incredibly, even though Biden has decided to impose vaccine mandates on millions upon millions of American citizens, even the White House Press Secretary is admitting that there will be no such requirement for the illegal immigrants that are being let into this country.

Members of Congress and their staffs are exempt from Biden’s new requirements as well.

But the rest of us are apparently fair game. Today, my wife walked into a store where the employees were openly talking about how they might soon lose their jobs because of these new mandates. Biden is dragging us into full-blown tyranny, and lots of American citizens are going to lose good jobs because of this.

Another new poll asked Americans if they think that Biden’s tyrannical decrees are constitutional or not, and the results were absolutely overwhelming

Asked in a new poll by Convention of States Action, in partnership with The Trafalgar Group, whether Biden has the constitutional authority to impose that demand, 58.6% said no.
Only 29.7% said yes.
The poll, taken over the weekend of likely general election voters, has a margin of error of 2.96%.
If they get away with this round of mandates, they will undoubtedly try to impose even more.

In fact, Dr. Fauci is openly telling us that he is in favor of mandating vaccines for air travel.

Fauci does not care about you. The next time that you hear the corporate media heaping praise on him, just remember what he and his organization did to a bunch of beagles.

He sees you the same way, and he is going to keep pushing Biden to tighten the screws.

Already, we are seeing officials go door to door in some cities. In Washington D.C., there are times when workers will “go back to a house four or five, six times” until someone finally answers the door…

Patrick Ashley, with D.C. Health, said the city has a significant outreach program going door to door.
“And as a reminder, we knock on doors until we actually get someone to talk to us. And so they’ll go back to a house four or five, six times, if necessary, multiple times of the day,” he said.
That should chill you to the core.

And what came next in that same article is also extremely chilling

Ashley also said the District is working with Medicare providers to make sure that they’re providing vaccination education.
“But you’re right, it is a choice of theirs to make,” Ashley said. “So we’ll continue to do that education through the —”
Silverman interrupted Ashley to say: “The president is saying it’s not a choice any more.”
The good news is that some red state governors are starting to fight back.

For example, Ron DeSantis just announced huge fines for any government entity in his state that attempts to mandate vaccines

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) on Monday fought back against Joe Biden’s unconstitutional vaccine mandates.
DeSantis announced cities and counties that force employees to get vaccinated will be fined $5,000 per infraction.
“We are here today to make it very clear that we are going to stand for the men and women who are serving. We are going to protect Florida jobs,” DeSantis said during the news conference. “We are not gonna let people be fired because of a vaccine mandate.”
Hopefully more red state governors will step up to the plate, because our politicians in Washington are completely and utterly out of control.

Not satisfied with angering millions of Americans with these new vaccine mandates, Democrats have also decided that now is the time to dramatically raise taxes

Top earners in New York City could face a combined city, state and federal income tax rate of 61.2%, according to plans being proposed by Democrats in the House of Representatives.
The plans being proposed include a 3% surtax on taxpayers earning more than $5 million a year. The plans also call for raising the top marginal income tax rate to 39.6% from the current 37%.
How would you feel if 61.2 percent of your income went to paying taxes?

Would that make you angry?

Of course it would.

But our politicians in Washington have to find some way to pay for their insane spending sprees. The federal government ran a 3 trillion dollar budget deficit last fiscal year, and with one month to go they are on track to do it again this fiscal year.

Everywhere you turn, there is more bad news. And everywhere you turn, things are starting to spiral out of control. So many of the things that I have been warning about are happening right in front of our eyes, and the months ahead are looking very bleak.

If Americans are this angry while things are still relatively stable, what is the mood of this country going to look like once things really start to fall apart?

As a nation, we are not emotionally equipped to handle any sort of a major societal collapse, but that is where the road that we are on inevitably leads.

These are such troubled times, and I have a feeling that really big surprises are just around the corner.

Things are on the path to going tango uniform and I really expect a shooting war to start not long after that.

Sure, if there weren’t so many weak people dependent on those government entitlements. What should happen and what will happen are two totally different scenarios. Given the amount of control being exerted by the feds, and the number of people caving to it, you can forget the citizenry rising up.

The Revolutionary War itself only had about six percent of the population fighting. Do you believe that over 95 percent of the country is "weak"?

Surely they're all just mad about Trump and January 6, which, if you didn't know, was the worst day ever.

Seriously, what do people expect when "leadership" consists of a clueless old man and a bunch of bureaucrats who, if they're not royally messing up foreign policy, are angering at least half the country at a time with their policies and attitudes?

Turns out maybe it wasn't those mean tweets that were messing with us after all.

The fabric of our society has been fraying for a long time, and I agree with others here - it's only a matter of time before something blows up.

Short answer? Yes.

Long answer? Yes. Far too many people have allowed themselves to become dependent on a fed gov that was never designed for the kind of support they expect. No one is prepared to fall to the bottom because there is no bottom, only government safety nets. Far too many kids are held captive by the public school system. Look at the crap here in Florida where not even a governor can protect families that don’t want the forced/mandated mask issue in the classroom. And on and on and people simply comply rather than do anything at all about it, even on the personal level, because it requires a sacrifice they are unwilling/unable to make.

You're wrong with half of this answer at least. People have "done anything about it" for quite some time. There have been protests and marches and calling the congresscritter and all the things that people are SUPPOSED to do when they're dissatisfied with the state of things. The only thing they HAVEN'T done is engage in mass homicide.

The problem here is that all the non-violent methods no longer work. They are ignored or broken up by superior force.

Don't mistake a compunction about killing for weakness. Remember how God feels about that sort of thing.

Though I can't help but remember this myself: "Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable." --John Kennedy, or, the Only Good Democrat.

If all the people that should have been writing to their congress critter had actually done it then their offices would not have been able to hold it all. The percentage of those letter writers to the rest of the citizenry is minuscule. Same for callers, protest attenders, etc. The percentage is just minuscule compared to everyone else. Because with calls and letters they didn’t have to get their hands dirty and adjust their schedule to actually show up at the office.

And note that the violence of the BLM hasn’t worked in their favor either. It may have looked like it initially but it hasn’t done much in the long run. The violent locations are just more violent for those that live there. A few more black people in commercials? What the heck good does that do? They are burying more and more people of color due to violence, not less. Worse, they are mostly doing it to themselves for no good reason.

The kind of violence that is going to be necessary to change the trajectory of this country is astronomically beyond most people’s ability to understand … or participate in.

You know those movies “The Purge”? Yes I know it is fiction but go with me here. People had one night, one night a year, to get it all out of their systems and there wasn’t even any legal consequences for doing so. Yet the vast majority of people fortified their homes and locked down rather than participating. They were too scared. Too lots of things. And that’s with no lasting legal consequences to deal with. Ha! The vast majority of the people in this country have the same damn mindset … let someone else stick their necks out, let someone else take the risk, I’ll go along to get along and will not have to deal with consequences. Or worse are the ones that just run their mouths on the internet and do little to nothing else.

Sure, people are angry. Their easy way of life is getting impacted longer than they bargained for … but they still voted for the idiot and the whore and are will to live with their buyer’s remorse because anything else is just too scary and takes too much sacrifice. People are by and large lazy. Weak and lazy. Sorry, I just don’t have much confidence in the human race in general and certain members of it in particular. I deal with too many people every day not to have had the rose colored glasses slapped off of my face years ago.

A large percentage of the people in this country are like spoiled 6 year olds. They want what they want when they want it and haven't got a clue that in the real world you are responsible for your own survival and that it is a constant sh*tstorm of problems that smack you upside the head.

All to many of them CAUSE their own problems because of the poor life choices they've made and continue to make and they expect someone else to solve them and care for them. So many have fallen for the marketing that life should be fair ... it's the riches fault ... it's those nasty white folks fault ... it's (fill in the blanks) fault ... it's anyone fault but your own!

I am so sick of hearing the "it's not fair" in just about every facet of life. Guess what, nowhere in history has it been "fair" and it won't be this side of heaven.

The only thing I am sure of is that it will continue to get worse until something happens that places everybody into a personal crisis that they will survive only by the grace of God.

The great winnowing continues. Everyone will make their choice and live with them.

"The Purge" is entirely the wrong example to use. Everyone who would have been responsible was exempted. "Everything" was legal except for killing people above a certain level.

The concept is what I am talking about not the entire plot lines of the stupid and unrealistic movies. On the other hand it is stupid and unrealistic people that have gotten us to this point in this country in real life. I was talking about the number of people that hid in their homes rather than deal with what was going on around them. They spent the money fortifying their home security but stopped short of building in bazookas and everything else that would have made it so the violent idiots would have considered them the wrong target.

Even real live prepppers do this. They go hide in the countryside thinking they can’t be found so all will be okay. They store years of food but forget that all systems are integrated for survival and having the food doesn’t do them any good if they don’t have a clean water source and way to transport it and keep it from being contaminated. Etc etc etc

The US was once an integrated system that worked towards the benefit of those that lived in this country. You got out of it what you were willing to put in whether that was in work or risk. These days people are so risk-averse that they seem unwilling or unable to put anything of real value in. People have forgotten the concept of sweat equity and have no idea how to come back from failure.

Failure is nothing more than a life lesson that needs to happen to everyone a few times to make them better … a better person, provider, better understanding of your worldview, etc.

But it is also the truth that the longer you push failure off the bigger the consequences when/if it happens. That is simply life and it is not a concept anyone seems to want to grasp these days. Fair is something only true in children’s games and even there the so-called adults are gaming the system and teach kids the wrong lessons.

And now here is another pill people don’t want to swallow. Before enough people can get up the nerve for the kind of violence it is going to take to cut the head off the snake … the snake will simply give people another target to expend that energy on. We are already in a kind of Cold War with China. My best guess is that within a decade that Cold War will have a few violent confrontations to it.

Of course this weekend's "Support of the Political Prisoners" rally in Washington, DC will be made to be the classic "false flag."

Most MAGA humans are forewarned. I expect most will stay away on that account.

And I expect even with ZERO attendees of the MAGA/Trump crowd, there will still be seen to be THOUSANDS of errant destructive, illegal, even brazen protesters - and - very likely - someone will get shot, possibly even die.

Those in Washington WANT you to be to blame for their problems. It's called OPTICS.

They have the MEEDIA - they can make it say anything they want.

And they want you dead.

And making you to blame is where that process starts.

Nancy might want to read what happened to the French elite.

Do you know how many ”French elite” survived the Revolution? Who really started that Revolution?

Some light, interesting reading on the subject: Ten myths about the French Revolution | OUPblog

Further research reveals:

The end of the French Revolution still ended with a Constitutional Monarchy in place.
The Revolutionaries were themselves turned on by the French people and Robespierre was executed after only a year in power.
Most of the elites and noble classes survived the Revolution, waited things out, and returned to something close or above their positions prior to the Revolution.
Over half of those brought before the tribunals of the Reign of Terror were acquitted and released.
Most of the people who died during the French Revolution, died of illness and disease created by the changing social situation … hint, most of them were not nobles.

In other words, I wouldn’t use the French Revolution as an idea of how to deal with our “elites and nobles” in this country.
