I had originally voted no, but changed my vote to yes. I don't think they can dodge this at this late hour and even their lapdogs would have trouble covering for him. I think they're pumping him full enough of that Namenda medicine that Dr. Jill has procured for him through various staffers and they're hoping he'll get through it and be able to just hold his own well enough that they can spin a win. (The incontinence that the medicine gives as a side effect won't smell through the TV, but it'd be funny to have Trump wrinkle his nose when Joe lets it go before they can break and give him new clothes)

Okay, Chris Wallace might be fine with that but Trump SHOULDN'T BE.
I'd turn and demand he answer the question(s) asked...and just keep on.
Make a big deal, Joe won't answer anything, he just keeps attacking Trump.
Trump should go on the non rude offensive and not answer anything himself until Joe starts answering.
This can't be 2 hrs of hate Trump with one liners by Joe.

Scott Adams has predicted that if Biden calls an early lid every day up until the debate, he will not show.

My worry is that Biden appears and totally tanks, but people will still vote for him because the candidates on the ballot are already set. Trump haters would vote for the devil himself rather than voting for Trump. They care more about hating Trump than what is best for the country. I mean that's obvious as they are already threatening to "burn down the country" if Trump is elected.

If Biden shows up and he is cognitively challenged that's going to create huge problems as well. IF he shows up and can put on a half-way decent display, Trump needs to rattle him without "kicking the puppy" as someone else said. At the same time Trump needs to give a glowing performance to counter the "low energy, poor ol' man" thing that Biden has going.

I voted yes it is unknown which Biden will show up one that can answer some questions or the one that’s not sure where he’s at. I suspect there trying to find the right drugs so he is able to perform well in the time frame. In 47 years in politics he has learned how to fake everything.

I don't see how he can wiggle out of it now. If he doesn't show up they would have to say that something is wrong with him or perhaps he could say that his wife Jill is ill and he has to be with her. This close to the debate anything is going to look fishy and that is with even people on the left not very confident that Joe is in fighting shape.

^^ That is the one thing you can be 100% certain of.
That thought crossed my mind, as crazy as it sounds. If his condition is as bad as we suspect, I would not put it past them to try this. Get a good impersonator who can do the voice and mannerisms, get a Hollywood make up artist to smooth any rough edges on the guy and hide an earpiece to feed him every answer.
^^ That is absolutely what would happen. They are voting against Trump, not for Biden. It would only help the people who are on the fence.

That's why I'm leaning toward the fake emergency, to be announced Monday or Tuesday morning. They've got to seem to WANT to show, and the reason has to paint Biden as caring and responsible. A fake emergency involving Jill just seems perfect and all Hallmark Channel.

The mainstream media 24/7/365 have refused to show it and if it is mentioned, call it a Trump conspiracy and lies.
The Social Media sites take down the videos of it within a few minutes of them being posted or even being mentioned.
There are multiple sources of evidence that Joe is being live proctored through his earphones, but his supporters ignore it. Heck, even the multiple posts of catching him in "live" interviews using a prompter and scripted questions/answers has been ignored.
To “His” base it doesn’t matter and since they believe whatever they are told, these demon-crats have gotten away with the biggest fraud since Obama.
What they’ve done with Demented Joe is elder abuse.
Even if they steal the election, he will never really be an acting president. It will all follow the script they’ve already created with Joe being the 21st century’s version of Max Headroom. Limited and controlled appearance, speaking only what he is programmed to say while the master puppet master(s) go about the final destruction of the Republic.
A significant number of us realize it, but we weren't going to vote for this pervert in the first place. It's the demon-crat base that will never believe it.

I voted "No." I predict some soon to be arrainged, "medical emergency" to keep him from attending. Soon thereafter, I can see an arrainged and extended "family emergency" to keep him off the debate stage until the election.

Pres. Trump may have inherited a lot of money, but the fact is you don't keep it by being stupid. I'm gonna be watching and pray that Biden gets ripped a new one. Not that the media will admit that. They are just going to edit tape, misrepresent what was said and claim up one side and down the other that Biden actually won.

Biden appears to be super serious and gets mad. It will go for 1.5 hours so I wonder if Joe can actually do it. Trump rally's go for 2 hours+.

I think we are being played too; I am starting to think that his "slow Joe/stupid Joe" act is largely just that, an "act".
Gaffes and lies have always been part and parcel Joe, but I feel the "stupid/slow" part is being used to distract/put us off-guard.
I have been waiting for him to show his true colors. Soon.

Further, I predict Biden will astound those of us on the right and actually put on a pretty good show and will come out just about even with Trump as far as the back-and-forth "gotchas" that each team has planned. A second debate will never happen - Dems will come up with some lame excuse. Sleepy Joe can only handle so much in the way of drugs to enhance his mental faculties. Another drug-up after this one will kill him.
Even if Trump goes off script and slams Biden rather well, and even if Trump asks Biden unexpected cutting questions, Biden will be pre-coached to counter Trump's questions with feigned disgust and a memorized statement.... something like "I'm not even going to address that absurd question" or "That question doesn't even deserve a response from me". He'll use those types of weasel statements whenever Trump tries to take Biden off-script. He'll then return to his pre-prepared, memorized blurbs. And, for the low-information voters, it will work.
But the Dems realize this is their one and only "chance" to change the real course of the election. They will be pulling out all the stops. Hence, a real surprise in his performance. We will be able to see right through it - but unfortunately not all voters are like us.
Never underestimate your enemy.

I don't know, but something needs to start happening. I guess Trump's holding his ad budget for October because I see ALMOST NOTHING for him. Biden's buying ad space everywhere that will take a check; TV, radio, websites, the whole thing. But Trump? I see and hear virtually nothing.
