Poison Ivy

I'm looking for something to use to wash down with after being exposed.

I know there are commercial products that can be used to wash off the oils but they get kinda pricy.

I know things like lye soap will tackle the problem and I will be making some of that as soon as I can work in the time to do it. What else can be used?

Vinegar is no cure all but it does seem to help us against poison oak. Sure feels good when it hits those blackberry scratches though! We also use it in the first of two washes when doing clothing exposed to poison oak. There is nothing like re-exposing yourself when all the oils did not come out of your jeans the first time! Good luck!

Pinecone (who is now itchy thinking about it)
