A couple of years ago I was gifted with a lot of cantaloupes that fell off the back of a truck. Most of them were bruised or cracked and I had to figure out what to do with them quickly. I made cantaloupe preserves.

Thank you very much ladies. I'm the only person in my house that likes cantaloupe, so I thought I would do the spiced pickles and give them out as Christmas gifts. I'm going to try the Jam recipe as well, and I will report back as to how they turn out.
There is a honeydew jam recipe out there as well.

I only grew one type of melon, because no one else likes it. Well, they like watermelon but that's entirely different.

I'm the only one living in my house that likes it. Many of my siblings and my parents like it, as do some of our friends. None of them live in my house, which is why I'm giving it to them as a present.
