Aboard the MV Kennicott, easing into Chenega Bay just now. Several more hours to my destination port.

Cannot disembark unless this is on your destination, so will wait aboard for departure. Typical seaside native village <3 Wish I could visit, but new rules these days….

We are finally pulling into our destination. Quite frosty on deck, and very windy - but I managed to get a sunset photo of Whittier. We’ll drive through the rail/auto tunnel (times for each of which are very clear….), then 50 miles to Anchorage, 50 more to home. Have had very spotty service so will upload a couple vids and a few pics on Tues or Wed. This has been a stunningly glorious day at sea <3

The nice weather we are having makes you think that we are being given more time to prepare for a Winter that could be worse than Winter 2020 / 2021. Not joking.

Here it is…the big boy, started indoors from seed late winter. 16 pounds of green pumpkin (cuz it’s already been frosty and I don’t want it going bad). :). Plus a bonus little cauliflower that I just found hiding in the greens.

Some of the small pie pumpkins did get a little frost bit in spots. Lesson learned…at my location, start pumpkin seeds a month earlier next year!

In Oklahoma, you can walk both sides of the fence...occasionally.

That Frozen Concoction that takes me to more temperate climes.
