This may sound very weird, but I think she knew, in some way. Several of her most recent posts were openly celebrating her faith in Jesus, which wasn't her usual posting pattern.

I believe her transition to Heaven wasn't a surprise to her at all, but an anticipated Homecoming.

Praying for peace and comfort for all who loved her.

For years I thought the worst part of growing old was the loss of ability/strength to do things and pains in the joints. In the last few years I have discovered that the hardest part is losing friends and family.

Sorry to hear of her passing and yet, congratulations on her graduation to Heaven. Condolences to her loved ones.

I am so sad and shocked to hear of losing Packy today! We are just losing too many people off this board. Nothing can be done of course as that's just the way it works but MAN! These are some big losses. So sorry Orion Commander. God bless her.

Two "reacts" after that.

Keep aware of yourself everyone. There is not much that keeps us here and best be aware of your "little things."

Praying for Orion Commander. I was so sorry to hear of her passing. Dobbin, you're correct in saying keep aware. Hopefully have others to watch out for you, too. This is sort of what happened to me, almost two years ago now. I got sick, thought it was the flu, and just wound down over a day or two until I became basically unresponsive. I had an infection in my heart, and would have died if they hadn't gotten me to the hospital in time. You never know what is going to happen to you. I had no reason to believe that I was so sick & in danger. I thought I just needed to sleep.

I have been back and forth on this thread all day. I have been so sad that I haven’t known what to say. I can’t tell you how many times over the years that I have read her comments to my husband or giggled over something she had to say. She was such a bright light here and will be horribly missed. We love you Packy.

One never knows, from day to day. None of us is guaranteed tomorrow.
Take every opportunity to say "I love you"-you never know if it's your last chance.

I was just thinking the other day how lonely I am for all the witty, wise, and wonderful folks on TB2K whose voices are silenced now.

The hole they are leaving just keeps getting bigger and bigger...and it is too quiet in here, without them.

RIP to P_W, and prayers for comfort to OC.

Every word you said is exactly how I feel. Way too quiet.
