May he rest in peace. I've known him, via the 'net, for a couple of decades I guess. I used to be a member of a certain other site quite a few years back, he was also a member on that site. Always seemed like a sensible sort of guy, and quite helpful. Sad to hear that he's gone, and at that young age.

Godspeed to you, George.

The clock continues to click. So sorry for the loss, for us all, especially those closest to eXe (George). It’s hard to get to “that” point in one’s life where those speaking into your life, pending the grace one is still here, have their voice go silent - through passing always, but often through dementia or equivalent. All sincerely missed; a void never again filled. Let those who remain hold on, making friends and building confidence with those who cross our path; folks though not seen, make up this new family that we all have found through forums like Timebomb2000. Timebomb2000 who brought us together as well all tried to understand what we faced in the future; a future we now live. May our loss spring forth as kindness, in remembrance of what we once had. Let hope anchor - making sure the chain links us one to another.

He was 58 years old.

Somehow, one is never ready for death coming from a very close friend or family member. George Cox aka eXe, was someone I looked forward to talking to. Though we’d known each other many years. I never got to meet him in person, but many of you had met him in real life. How I’ll miss him. Please join with me in praying for he and his loved ones.

Life can end in an instant. Hug those you love, for it could be the last time.

Godspeed, thou good and faithful servant.
Amen

@admiralhalsey , that was beautiful.
Thank you Dennis. We lose, yet we gain - holding what will still have a little closer, more carefully. What we still have, is given to us with the hope that we cherish, and forget not what we have lost. I can’t help but believe that those we love and appreciate, when passed on, remain not too far away - memories indelible. Alberta Jim.
