Automatic Locking of large threads

A long-going thread in one of my ezboards is closed whenever someone replies to it, I can only assume ezboard put in a feature to automatically close threads once they reach a certain size. If so, is there any way around it? (and I don't think its a very good idea; if the staff of a board thinks a thread is too large they have the option to close it themselves, but if they want it to stay open they should have that option as well.)

The board will have to become CSC if they would like the threads to have unlimited replies.

what is the limit before it becomes locked?

Lujan, we were told elsewhere in this forum yesterday, that the threads will 'auto lock' (on non-CSC Boards) once the post count reaches 100.
