I see can see how many servings are in the packets, but that comes to how much when on your plate?

Roasted chicken would equal how many oz when its served wet?

Beef strog would equal how many cups or oz. once it's on your plate? (for each person)

Each Serving is 1 cup of food.

IIRC Stroganoff is more gravy than meat..in most recipes. I don't know how what percent of this stuff is gravy and what is meat.

Wise has informed us that they will ship them to us around the 20th of December.

We were told they would ship end of November, but were not able to fulfill those orders.

All those who have purchased our meat buckets will get a free 72 hour meal kit directly from Wise Food while we wait for our pallet to come in.

I just ordered the sample packet. If a serving is one cup then that is a lot of food. One serving could be added merely as flavoring and make this food last a good while. I look forward to trying this and especially with the current thread going on on the main.

I got my order today and I like the small foil packets in the bucket for those that space is a priority you could cram these packets almost anywhere. I will try one of them at some point but I've got a lot of old MRE's that are going to pot that I'm trying to work through right now. Neat thing about freeze dried is the shelf life. It's not really something that is going to go bad on you in a hurry or that you have to protect from freezing which in a northern climate is a real plus. Will certainly order from you again in the near future.

Just ordered a sample pack and am also interested in those Aquatank water storage bags, but have concerns about having to fill them by garden hose. I suppose one should really run any water stored from a hose through a filtration system before drinking then??

We recommend not filtering the water before putting it in the aquatanks, please filter the water when needed.

tonight I made up a packet of the beef stroganoff , and made up a packet of lipton beef and noodles.. then mixed it together, (I could have added canned vegs. but didn;t) anyway then I got 4 soup bowls and divided it into 4 bowls to see if it would be a filling dinner. (Remember, you can add sides, but I just made up the 2 packets,)

and it was plenty and really not bad tasting like some other long term foods are.

I would highly recommend buying from the berkey guy!.
