Congressional Dems ponder legislative pivot as election overhaul bill gasps for air
The Democratic caucus is maintaining a (mostly) united front, but behind the scenes some are wondering if a less sweeping bill is the one to bet on.

By Sophie Mann
Updated: May 18, 2021 - 10:24pm

Democrats in the Senate are facing the fact that their sweeping election overhaul bill, S.1 (the "For the People Act"), will likely die in the upper chamber.

Caucus leaders are beginning to contemplate pivoting to a vehicle with broader appeal, the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act, a beefed-up version of the Voting Rights Act of 1965 that would restore and extend mandatory oversight from the Department of Justice over election procedures in jurisdictions deemed to have histories of prejudicial voting laws.

Though Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi have repeatedly emphasized the importance of passing H.R. 1/S. 1, the Senate bill is currently stuck in a partisan deadlock in committee with no clear path toward passage.

Last week, Democrats met to brainstorm how to move forward, but no conclusion was reached, and some Democrats — including Sen. Joe Manchin of West Virginia, a key swing vote in the 50-50 Senate — declined to participate in the conversation at all. Manchin and Sen. Kyrsten Sinema of Arizona, moreover, remain opposed to overturning the legislative filibuster, which would be necessary for Democrats to pass S. 1 without Republican support.

S. 1 is "too darn broad, and we got no bipartisan support," Manchin said last week.

"The country is more divided than it's ever been," he continued, explaining that he doesn't want to worsen the divisions by forcing through more legislation that has zero bipartisan appeal.

Even Democrats to the left of Manchin are signaling that S. 1 may not be worth a fight that will likely end in defeat.

"We've got a lot of different opinions in the caucus, and I think there's a general consensus that we have to move forward on democracy reforms," said Connecticut Sen. Chris Murphy. "But it's going to take us, you know, a little while to get everybody on the same page."

It is that imperative to find an election reform vehicle that can unify the party that has some in the caucus eyeing the John Lewis Voting Rights Act — which Manchin has said he will support — as a pragmatic alternative.

On Monday, Manchin and moderate Republican Sen. Lisa Murkowski of Alaska sent a letter to the leaders of Congress encouraging the reauthorization of the Voting Rights Act of 1965 (i.e., the John Lewis bill). The letter signals centrist support for voting reform in a form more modest than S. 1. — but that might not be enough for some Democrats.

Murphy cautioned that the John Lewis bill, which has not yet been filed in this Congress (a version — H.R. 4 — was introduced in December of 2019), does not go far enough.

"We've gotta go broader than the John Lewis bill," Murphy said.

Pragmatically, some Democrats fear that failure to deliver on S. 1 will mean disaster in 2022 for more reasons than one. Oregon Sen. Jeff Merkley, a progressive, says that giving up on the transformative election reform package will signal weakness to the base.

"We'll lose massively because we're burned out by failure to deliver, and we'll lose massively because of new voting restrictions," Merkley said. "Our grassroots is going to be so discouraged if we fail to get this passed."

A recent analysis by the Brennan Center for Justice at NYU's School of Law found that H.R. 1 is the single highest priority for progressive voters, who believe it will counter the wave of election integrity reforms adopted by GOP-majority legislatures across the country.

"The John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act builds for us the fire station to protect us against future fires," said freshman Democratic Sen. Raphael Warnock of Georgia. "But the house of democracy, as a result of voter suppression bills all across the country, is on fire right now."

Republicans vehemently reject H.R. 1/S.1 as a gratuitous solution to a non-existent problem. They have labeled the bill a power grab by Washington Democrats intent on federalizing elections to make it extremely difficult for the party out of power to regain control.

"This is a manufactured problem, making every Republican a racist, and it ain't working," South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham told the Washington Post.

Many black conservatives have stepped forward to denounce the racial condescension implied in Democrat efforts to stigmatize voter ID requirements as "voter suppression" tactics targeting blacks.

"Somehow we're not smart enough to get an ID, and therefore requiring one is racist," famed civil rights activist Bob Woodson said on a recent episode of the John Solomon Reports podcast. "When you begin to apply all these exemptions from the standards that everyone else has to confirm to, it's almost as if black America is being treated like an exotic pet."

Schumer has promised to bring S. 1 to the floor for a vote by August, giving him about two months to come up with a viable strategy to overcome the significant obstacles currently impeding passage of the bill. The House Judiciary Committee is gearing up for hearings that will lead to the reintroduction of the John Lewis Voting Rights Act later this summer.

Republicans, meanwhile, hope that holdouts remain holdouts.

"We hope that Sen. Manchin will remain true to his recent public statements and not cave on the filibuster, which means S. 1 will be dead on arrival," said Garrett Bess, vice president of government relations and communications at conservative Heritage Action.

"But the left has numerous backup plans," he cautioned, including H.R. 4, "which essentially leaves local election-related decisions, such as redistricting, in the hands of Washington bureaucrats."

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) will not support the current legislation to form the January 6 commission, according to two sources who told Axios.

According to Axios, the two sources were a part of the Republicans’ closed-door caucus lunch Tuesday where the minority leader told his Senate colleagues.

McConnell, according to Axios’s sources, said something like: “There’s 41 of us who could change this, and I think we should.”

After McConnell finished speaking, Sen. Roy Blunt (R-MO) reportedly also stood up and questioned parts of the deal, according to the report. Blunt is retiring after his current term and will not run for reelection. One source told Axios the deal is not dead on arrival but hinted Republicans would want to make some changes such as making a “truly bipartisan” panel.

The report showed Senate Republicans are expected to see the House vote on the bill Wednesday. Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) has vocally opposed the House bill to form a commission. Tuesday, the House Republican Leader issued a statement to oppose the legislation due to bad-faith negotiations. McCarthy said Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) “falsely” claimed she gave House Republicans a counterproposal.

Some senators are worried House Republicans will “buck leadership” and vote for the bill, which would ultimately make “it more difficult for Senate Republicans to dismiss it,” according to the report.

Axios reported, after the Republicans closed-door caucus lunch, McConnell said he is “pushing the pause button” on having the current legislation.

Reportedly, he added later, the Senate Republican conference is “undecided” and raised questions on if a new commission would be getting in the way of the Department of Justice and the other congressional oversight committees that already have investigations underway.

Windham auditors suspect folds in ballots to blame for burgeoning 2020 election discrepancies

by Haley Victory Smith, Breaking News Reporter & Daniel Chaitin, Deputy News Editor |

| May 17, 2021 10:53 PM

Members of an audit team in Windham, New Hampshire, are finding more discrepancies in the 2020 election results in the state and suspect folds in ballots could be to blame.

"Something we strongly suspect at this juncture, based on various evidence, is that in some cases, fold lines are being interpreted by the scanners as valid votes," auditor Mark Lindeman said, according to a report by WMUR9 on Monday, after the first review of four AccuVote machines was completed over the weekend.

Republican Gov. Chris Sununu signed legislation on April 12 ordering an audit of the ballot-counting machines and memory cards used during the 2020 general election in Windham, as well as a hand tabulation of roughly 10,000 ballots for the state House, governor, and U.S. senator races. That was after a November hand recount established discrepancies between vote totals, in particular with four of the candidates in Rockingham District 7 gaining about 300 votes, while the top-finishing Democrat, Kristi St. Laurent, lost 99 votes.

"Because if someone voted for all four Republican candidates and the ballot happened to have its fold line going through St. Laurent's target, then that might be interpreted by the machines as an overvote, which would then subtract votes from each of those four Republican candidates," said Philip Stark, another member of the three-person audit team. "Conversely, if there were not four votes already in that contest by the voter, a fold line through that target could have caused the machine to interpret it as a vote for St. Laurent."

According to the New Hampshire Union Leader, the totals produced so far in the audit differ from those seen on election night returns and in the recount, more so in the state Legislature contest than in the races for governor and U.S. senator.

One particular case mentioned in the report was that of Republican Julius Soti, who was the fourth of four GOP winners for state representative seats. Election night returns showed Soti prevail over fifth-place St. Laurent by 24 votes. The hand recount in November, which was requested by St. Laurent, showed Soti's margin of victory rise to 420, but the vote tabulator review completed over the weekend shrunk the margin to 377, or 4,706 votes to 4,329.

The audit will not change the results of the Rockingham District 7 contest, which, according to the legislation signed by Sununu, is because of the ruling of the ballot law commission on Nov. 25 upholding the recount of that race. And although the audit will not analyze votes from the presidential election, it has caught the attention of former President Donald Trump, along with the election audit in Maricopa County, Arizona, and a lawsuit in Antrim County, Michigan.

"Congratulations to the great Patriots of Windham, New Hampshire for their incredible fight to seek out the truth on the massive Election Fraud which took place in New Hampshire and the 2020 Presidential Election," Trump said in a statement on May 6.

Sununu disputed the assertion that there was widespread fraud in his state. “A discrepancy of 300 votes out of over 800,000 cast does not constitute ‘massive election fraud,'" the governor said.

The audit, which began last week and is being conducted with the help of volunteers, moved to a new ballot count by hand on Monday. The entire process must be complete by May 27.

The Washington Examiner reached out to the election law department of the New Hampshire Department of Justice for comment but did not immediately

HERE WE GO: Georgia Gubernatorial Candidate VERNON JONES Calls for Forensic Audit of Controversial 2020 Election

By Jim Hoft

Great American patriot Vernon Jones called for a comprehensive forensic audit of Georgia’s controversial 2020 Election results.

Jones released a tweet Tuesday inviting all Georgians to gather with him at Liberty Plaza in Atlanta on Wednesday morning.

Vernon released this statement this morning.

1621456926445.png

What a smart politician! As the Republican Party continues to turn its back on their voters, smart politicians like Vernon understand there is NO FUTURE for the GOP if Democrats continue to steal election after election.

1621456860910.png

Currently, Georgia has up to 330,000 ballots missing their legally required chain of custody documentation making them illegitimate. But Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger ignored the fact these ballots were illegitimate and included them in the final counts giving the election to Joe Biden. This was not accurate or fair. These ballots alone will award this state to its rightful winners (don’t forget the two Senate seats stolen in this state as well):

America is with you Vernon Jones – Thank you for having the courage and integrity to demand fair and free elections in Georgia.

Auditor: Information Deleted From Maricopa County Election Machine Has Been Recovered

WEDNESDAY, MAY 19, 2021 - 09:06 AM
Authored by Zachary Stieber via The Epoch Times,

The information that was allegedly deleted from a Maricopa County election machine has been recovered, an auditor told state lawmakers on Tuesday.

Ben Cotton, founder of CyFIR, one of four firms working on the 2020 election audit, said at the Arizona State Capitol in Phoenix that he discovered a master file table “that clearly indicated that the database directory was deleted from that server.”
“Subsequently, I’ve been able to recover all of those deleted files, and I have access to that data,” he added.
“I have the information I need from the recovery efforts of the data.”
Maricopa County responded in a tweet on Tuesday:
“Just want to underscore that AZ Senate’s @ArizonaAudit account accused Maricopa County of deleting files- which would be a crime- then a day after our technical letter explained they were just looking in the wrong place- all of a sudden ‘auditors’ have recovered the files.”
Auditors told Maricopa County officials through the Arizona Senate earlier this month that they discovered an entire database directory from an election machine had been deleted.

In addition, the main database for election management software was not found anywhere on the machine, despite it being referenced as the location for the database.
“This suggests that the main database for all election related data for the November 2020 General Election has been removed,” Arizona Senate President Karen Fann, a Republican, wrote to Maricopa County’s Board of Supervisors.
The board later said the allegation was false, accusing auditors of making a mistake while performing their analysis. The Maricopa County Elections Department, in a technical analysis, said officials and subject matter experts reviewed the allegation and found the database folder in question was not deleted.

Cotton told the state Senate meeting on Tuesday that the firm follows a strict forensics acquisitions process by removing hard drives from a machine and performing forensics imaging with “write blocks” that will prevent any changes to the hard drives before making a copy of the drive. He said the drives for the operating system were in a “mirror configuration,” which means that changes anywhere on the operating system drive would be automatically reflected on both drives.

Fann recently threatened to issue fresh subpoenas to Maricopa County officials over their refusal to provide routers or router images and passwords giving auditors administrative control to Dominion Voting Systems election machines. She later backed down and asked that they attend the meeting to answer questions. The board on Monday refused to send anybody.

Asked if subpoenas were back on the table, Fann told The Epoch Times in an email that the board’s refusal would be discussed at the meeting. During the meeting, she did not indicate whether she was considering anew issuing more subpoenas.

The state Senate in late 2020 issued several subpoenas for ballots, election machines, and other materials to conduct a forensic audit. The county took the matter to court, arguing the subpoenas were too broad, but a county judge ruled in favor of the Senate.

Router or router images and election machine access were included in the original subpoenas.
Cotton expressed confusion about the county’s assertion that providing even router images could compromise sensitive resident data, telling senators that the data “should not exist on that router, period.”

He also wondered about public reports by Pro V&V, a machine auditor that reviewed some of the machines in February, that the county’s election systems don’t touch the Internet.
“The extension of that would be that they do not touch the county network because that’s exposed to the Internet and to say that the data corresponding to these networks would somehow compromised law enforcement activity or PII data seems incongruous to the previous statements,” he added, referring to personally identifiable information data.
As far as the passwords go, Dominion declined to provide them to auditors and the county has said it does not have them itself.

Giving over the passwords would amount to releasing “intellectual property,” Dominion said in a recent statement. The firm said it would release the passwords only to firms accredited by the U.S. Election Assistance Commission.

Doug Logan, CEO of Cyber Ninjas, the firm leading the audit for the Arizona Senate, told senators that the passwords do not give access to source code. He said there was some miscommunication or misunderstanding involved.

For now, auditors only have “poll worker access” to the systems with the passwords they were given, Cotton said. To fully carry out the audit, they would need access at an administrator or technician level.
“In the course of communications with the county officials, it was disclosed to us that the Maricopa County officials apparently do not have access at the administrative or technician level for their own tabulating systems. That level of access and those credentials are maintained in the sole possession of two Dominion employees that are apparently full time contractors within the Maricopa County infrastructure,” he said.
“The biggest challenge there is one, it doesn’t appear that they have control of their own equipment when it comes to configuring and preparing for an election and two, they can’t validate that their own policies and procedures are being carried out without the ability to validate the configurations of the systems,” he added.
If the passwords are conveyed, auditors estimate it would take less than two days to gather the data they need.

Latest update from Kelli Ward last night

PHOENIX (AP) — Ben Cotton, founder of a computer forensics firm working on the Maricopa County audit, told key senators that he had recovered all data.

He spoke at a livestreamed hearing called by Republican Senate President Karen Fann to demand answers from county officials about the allegation of deleted data and improper documentation of ballot storage.

The audit is on hold this week while the arena where it’s taking place is used for high school graduations.

At the Senate’s hourlong meeting Tuesday, Fann and Judiciary Committee Chairman Warren Petersen, also a Republican, asked friendly questions of Cotton, Cyber Ninjas founder Doug Logan and Ken Bennett, a former Republican secretary of state serving as the Senate’s audit liaison. The meeting was broadcast online but was not open to the press or public. Neither senators nor auditors answered questions from the media.

Petersen, the Judiciary Committee chairman, said the Maricopa County audit will be a model for lawmakers in the future. “When the next forensic audit is done, it will be a completely smooth process from start to finish.”

Were the files deleted or hidden…

“I’ve been able to recover all of those deleted files, and I have access to that data,” Cotton said.

Maricopa County Officials Need to Remember They Are ‘Public Servants’

Maricopa County Officials Need to Remember They Are ‘Public Servants’

Source: AP Photo/Matt York

The Maricopa County Board of Supervisors (MBS) should have left the snark on the playground. Their churlish, childish response to reasonable questions from Arizona State Senate President Karen Fann is unbecoming of elected officials. Their constituents deserve better.

On May 12, Sen. Fann sent a letter asking MBS to clarify some discrepancies and anomalies observed by the auditors reviewing Maricopa County’s ballots, even inviting MBS officials to attend a meeting at the State Capitol to clear things up. Fann pointed out that certain databases appear to have been deleted, recorded vote totals failed to match up with the physical documents, and chain-of-custody documentation had not been provided.

MBS responded the way a teenager might if they were caught breaking curfew – by insulting Fann’s intelligence, impugning her motives, and adamantly refusing to cooperate in any way, shape, or form unless legally compelled to do so.

“You have rented out the once good name of the Arizona State Senate to grifters and con-artists,” MBS writes in a representative passage from its May 17 response letter, adding, “The result is that the Arizona Senate is held up to ridicule in every corner of the globe and our democracy is imperiled.”

The petulance of the response is exacerbated by MBS’ liberal use of scare quotes to further communicate their disdain for the audit process – an emotion apparently evoked by the mere fact that the Senate would dare to question the integrity of an election process that they oversaw.

As someone who grew up revering this country’s founding principles and believing strongly in the virtues of our system of government, I found the MBS response disappointing, to say the least. As someone who devoted his career to public service, and had the privilege to serve in government at both the state and local level in my home state of Ohio, I consider the letter’s immature hostility an affront to the dedication of countless other public servants all over the country who conduct themselves with dignity and respect, without letting their own egos and emotions interfere with the work they do on behalf of the American people.

At every possible opportunity, the MBS letter is breathtakingly curt and deliberately obtuse.

Fann reported, for instance, that auditors found 218 ballots in a box that was marked as containing 200 ballots. MBS scoffed that this could not possibly be the case.

On page 10 of its response, MBS acknowledges that proprietary passwords controlled by Dominion Voting Systems are “necessary” to conduct the audit. The Board refused to make any effort to obtain the passwords, and proceeded to taunt the State Senate over its inability to acquire them directly from Dominion. Then, on page 11, MBS rejects Fann’s request for access to the County’s routers, suggesting that this could lead to the routers falling into criminal hands.

Fann also pointed out that analysis of election servers showed that a certain database had been deleted prior to the server being provided to auditors. MBS responded by claiming that the discrepancy must be due to either ineptitude or malice on the part of auditors.

Throughout its response, MBS makes clear that it does not consider the State Senate’s audit to be legitimate, and blames it for eroding public confidence in democracy. That’s just a verbose version of “I know you are, but what am I?”

The truth is, if our democracy is truly “imperiled” by anyone, the fault lies with MBS, which is refusing to cooperate with elected lawmakers while angrily denouncing everyone involved in the effort to investigate widespread concerns about the 2020 election process. If MBS actually cared about restoring public confidence in our elections – and if they were actually as confident in their own handling of the 2020 elections as they claim to be – then they would be bending over backwards to help the auditors demonstrate that the process was handled properly.

Unfortunately, the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors is resorting to schoolyard insults instead of engaging in good-faith cooperation with their own state government.

Ken Blackwell is the former Secretary of State of Ohio. He on the Board of Directors of the Public Interest Legal Foundation and American Constitutional Rights Union Action.

Dr. Kelli Ward is the Arizona Republican Chairwoman and she is OUTSTANDING.

She really is in a league of her own.

Although the current ballot counting and investigations are delayed this week due to a scheduling conflict in the Veterans Memorial Coliseum, Kelli Ward is still working hard for the people of Arizona.

On Wednesday Dr. Kelli Ward tweeted out that she expects the forensic audit to be completed by the end of June.

And on Tuesday Kelli Ward tweeted out a poll that hints at what the investigators are finding in the 2.1 million ballots that were turned over to the Senate audit team.

It appears they are running into ballots without a corresponding original.

Are we talking about ghost ballots?

This could be a HUGE problem for the Maricopa County supervisors and Democrats like Katie Hobbs.

‘Possible Election Violation’ – Fayette County District Attorney Launches Investigation Into Rejected Ballots in Tuesday’s Primary

By Cristina Laila

The Pennsylvania District Attorney on Wednesday launched an investigation into rejected ballots during Tuesday’s primary.

Elections officials in a Pennsylvania County on Tuesday were working to resolve a problem dealing with voting machines rejecting ballots in all 77 precincts.

Voting machines in Fayette County were only rejecting Republican ballots, according to Chris Varney, Judge of Elections.

At first, Varney was under the impression that there was a problem will the barcodes on all ballots, but it turns out only Republican ballots are being rejected.

CBS Pittsburgh reported late Tuesday: The Fayette County solicitor said the courts have granted an emergency petition, which means all the ballots that weren’t scanned will be hand-counted by the judge of elections at each individual precinct once the polls close at 8 p.m.

The Fayette County DA is launching an investigation into the ballot issues from Tuesday’s primary and he’s also looking into a possible election violation.

Insurrection? Capitol Police Officers’ Statement Attacks Republican Leaders McConnell and McCarthy Over Refusal to Support Democrats’ January 6 Commission

By Kristinn Taylor
Published May 19, 2021 at 4:33pm

Anonymous U.S. Capitol Police officers issued a statement on official department letterhead to reporters Wednesday afternoon attacking Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) and House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) for refusing to support the Democrats’ commission to investigate the January 6 riot at the Capitol.

Antifa-Breaks-Capitol-Window-Screen-Image-emmbeliever-Twitter-01062021-e1610001700411.jpg

The statement was first reported by Politico’s Olivia Beavers, “NEWS: The U.S. Capitol Police have issued a statement to members of Congress expressing “profound disappointment” with McConnell and McCarthy’s positions on the Jan. 6 commission, citing the “trauma” that officers endured that day.”

View: https://twitter.com/Olivia_Beavers/status/1395116769623281672

Beavers later clarified the letter was not from the department but by a group of officers, “Clarification: This came from members of the USCP who used official letterhead, but it is NOT a formal statement from the USCP as a whole.”

Beavers reposted the statement:

1621466539576.png1621466583264.png
We members of the United States Capitol Police write this letter to express our profound disappointment with the recent comments from both chambers’ minority leaders expressing no need for a January 6th commission. The brave men and women of the USCP were subjected to hours and hours of physical trauma which has led to months of mental anguish. If you look around the Capitol building, you still have doors that are broken, windows still smashed and in some cases missing. Officers are forced to go to work with the daily reminder of what happened that dreadful day.
On Jan 6th where some officers served their last day in US Capitol Police uniform, and not by choice, we would hope that Members whom we took an oath to protect, would at the very minimum support an investigation to get to the bottom of EVERYONE responsible…..and hold them 100 percent accountable no matter the title of position they hold or held.

It is inconceivable that some of the Members we protect, would downplay the events of January 6th. Member safety was dependent upon the heroic actions of the USCP. It is a privileged assumption for Members to have the point of view “it wasn’t that bad”.
That privilege exists because the brave men and women of the USCP protected you, the Members.
Lastly, with each passing week, a new revelation about Jan 6th reveals itself. A new indictment comes to light, another newsreel of USCP officers being assaulted is released, or some breaking news regarding “somebody’s” involvement. With these constant reminders, it is unconscionable to even think anyone could suggest, we need to move forward & get over it. Unfortunately this letter comes to you anonymously because as US Capitol Police Officers, we are expected to remain neutral and do our jobs with honor and integrity. It’s unfortunate our bosses are not held to the same standard that we, the USCP are.

Is this insubordination or insurrection? With trust at an all-time low on Capitol Hill between Republicans and Democrats, with Democrats believing their Republican colleagues are plotting to massacre them, now throw doubt on whether the Capitol Police can be relied upon after this statement.

Update: Capitol Police official statement reported by NBC’s Frank Thorp V, ““This is NOT an official USCP statement. The Department has no way of confirming it was even authored by USCP personnel. The U.S. Capitol Police does NOT take positions on legislation.”

Michael Patrick Leahy: Thousands of Georgia Ballots Were Delivered BEFORE They Were Picked Up from Drop Boxes in Georgia on Election Night (VIDEO)

By Jim Hoft
Published May 19, 2021 at 5:28pm
michael-patrick-leahy.jpg

CEO and Editor in Chief of Star News Digital Media, Michael Patrick Leahy, joined Steve Bannon on The War Room on Wednesday morning.

During their discussion, Leahy told Steve Bannon that there are still over 330,000 Georgia ballots without the proper chain of custody documentation.

Michael Patrick Leahy said his media organization sent out subpoenas to all of the Georgia counties.

We’ve reported for months at The Gateway Pundit that the chain of custody documentation in the state of Georgia for absentee ballots is missing for hundreds of thousands of ballots (most likely all for Biden). Biden was awarded the state of Georgia by the likes of Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger and his sidekick, Gabe Sterling, with a winning margin of roughly 10,000 ballots. They certified the state’s results without this legally required documentation.

1621466987693.png

Brad Raffensperger has yet to produce the proper documentation.

Leahy then dropped this bomb!
Michael Patrick Leahy: “Here’s what’s shocking about it, 85% of the (dropbox) ballots, or over 50,000 were not transported from the dropbox to the registrar immediately as the Georgia state law requires… 5% of them, well over 3,000 were delivered before they were picked up. How can you do that?
Steve Bannon: Stop, stop, stop! Walk me through – give me that one again. You’re breaking the law of physics.

Michael Patrick Leahy: We have examined, every single one of the 1,100 document transfer forms, collection box, dropbox collections from September 24 to November 3rd… One delivery in College Park was delivered 22 minutes before it was picked up!

GOP leaders such as McConnell and McCarthy opposed the commission.

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell on Wednesday said he opposed the January 6 commission and called it a “slanted and unbalanced proposal.”

The bill will establish a 10-person commission with 5 Republicans and 5 Democrats from the House and Senate.

The lawmakers will have subpoena power and produce a report on their findings.
Some lawmakers have floated the idea of forcing Trump to testify about ‘his role.’

Just WOW! Weakling Kevin McCarthy Put Pro-Impeachment RINO John Katko on Jan. 6 Committee

By Jim Hoft

gop-impeachment.jpg

In January Rep. John Katko (R-NY) was one of only 10 Republicans who voted to impeach President Trump over media lies, smears and innuendos.

Katko went to the House floor and urged Republican members to impeach President Trump before the president left office.

Katko lied about Officer Sicknick’s death like fellow Democrats did.

View: https://youtu.be/vECtGDUrJ8Y

So it is truly shocking that weakling GOP leader Kevin McCarthy deputized Katco to make a deal on the Jan. 6 Commission with the Pelosi gang, knowing that Katco had voted to impeach President Trump.

This is absolutely outrageous!

Politico reported:
McCarthy initially empowered one of his allies, moderate Rep. John Katko of New York, to cut a bipartisan deal with his Democratic counterpart on an independent, 9/11 style commission to investigate the deadly Capitol riots. But when Katko ultimately struck an agreement, which included most of McCarthy’s demands, the GOP leader balked at the plan.
Ultimately, 35 Republicans joined Democrats in approving the commission in the vote Wednesday evening. But the day was full of intraparty drama for the GOP, as McCarthy worked to lessen defections from moderate members of his party.

Maricopa County Duplicate Ballots Do Not Have Matching Original Ballots

•May 19, 2021

NewsNet

Christina Aguayo News-Facebook #MaricopaCounty #Arizona #Maricopa The CEO of Cyber Ninjas doubled down on his findings that the ballot count on record - in Maricopa County - does not match the physical count of the ballots. He then took it one step further. Doug Logan, whose company works with some of the largest names in the financial services sector, the Government sector and also evaluated the systems in Antrim County made the comments during the State Senate hearing.

He said that the Maricopa Board of Supervisors were incorrect in their assertion that his company misread the early voting transmittal sheets and didn't account for the duplicate ballots, which is why they say the totals are different.

Logan, however, said those duplicate ballots were taken into account and it's the batches of ballots that do not have duplicates on record that are in fact not matching up.

"In the boxes, they have early voting transmittal sheets that give the counts that are supposed to be in any given batch. The county said the numbers don't match because we didn't take into account the duplicates. Duplicate ballots occur when a machine can't count ballot. The early voting transmittal sheets have a section on the bottom that are to be filled out if duplicates are used. The ballots with non matching numbers do not have anything written or recorded at the bottom area which would indicated duplicates in that batch. We took into account the duplicates and the county did not explain why the sheets do not match the number of ballots in the boxes. We gave them some specific boxes with mismatched numbers. Those batches did not indicate or have a record of duplicates. An explanation is still needed for why ballot counts in batches do not match records where duplicates were not used."

Logan said that duplicate ballots are created when the original ballot is damaged and cant be run through the system. In addition, according to the former Secretary of State and current Audit Director Ken Bennett, each duplicate ballot must have a 6 digit serial number printed on it that matches a 6 digit serial number printed on the original damaged ballot that it corresponds to. However, Bennett said they can't find the original ballots that match up to the duplicated ballots.

"We are finding a 6 digit serial number on the duplicate ballots but we are not finding a corresponding serial number on the original ballot or the ballot needed to be duplicated.
I was so surprised to find this I brought people from both parties to witness that we are running into batch after batch after batch that do not have serial numbers. They should match one for one. The original to the duplicated ballot. Anyone should be able to audit and see that the votes off the damaged ballots have a true duplicate copy. I will send a question over to the county - they have made it clear to me that they will not interact directly with the auditors - so as the liaison I will ask them about the different number of duplicate ballots to damaged ballots. How to we match duplicates to damaged ballots if there are no serial numbers on damaged ballots?"

Bennett said the ballots should match up to the total number of ballots as a whole

AZ Senate Majority Whip Sonny Borrelli Shares His Observations On the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors: “They’re Very Disrespectful”

By Jordan Conradson
Published May 20, 2021 at 7:00am
01220603-CAE7-4C44-A6E8-17ABB5D7450E.jpeg

The Gateway Pundit’s Jordan Conradson interviewed Arizona Senate Majority Whip Sonny Borrelli after the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors (MCBOS) refused to attend the Senate’s meeting on Tuesday, with the Arizona Senate Audit team.

On Monday, the MCBOS failed to attend a meeting requested by Senate Leader Karen Fann covering her devastating letter to the Board on May 12. Instead, they held their own meeting Monday, in response to her letter.

Jordan Conradson from The Gateway Pundit discussed these recent events with Senator Borrelli.
Conradson: The Board of supervisors refused to attend their meeting yesterday. What does that tell you?

Borrelli: It’s very disappointing because Senator Fann had questions about things that they had found, and they were legitimate questions… It was very disappointing that the meeting they had Monday was all accusatory and totally defensive and it really wasn’t warranted because the letter than Karen Fann sent to the supervisor was not accusatory. It was just asking questions on some of the things that were found… for them to not show up on Monday was completely disrespectful but then how they acted on Monday was very telling on their whole position…(on deleted data) It was deleted! So we have to find out how did it get deleted? They’re denying that it got deleted and they have no concerns of that and they don’t even want to know how or why it got deleted. It’s very troubling because nothing is supposed to be deleted for 24 months. Everything is supposed to be intact.
Conradson: I thought that they didn’t actually deny data being deleted, but denied being the ones who deleted it?
Borrelli: Correct.

Conradson: So who does that leave?
Borrelli: That’s a good question and that was one of the questions they should have answered.

Conradson: So do you think it could have been Dominion that deleted the files?

Borrelli: It could be. It could be a tech mistake. It could have been all kinds of stuff but these are the things that need to be looked at. If their practices are faulty or someone is negligent, well then you need to find out… that’s pretty much the impetus of this audit, to find out if there was any discrepancies and what do we need to do to fix that for future legislation for future elections.
Conradson: So what’s the next step in enforcing the subpoenas on routers and passwords?
Sonny Borrelli: I’m not going to signal any kind of strategy but we’re just going to continue on with the audit after the graduation ceremonies that are going on at the coliseum. They’re going to resume going back to the headcount and verifying all of the ballots. So we’re just going to continue to march and do what we’re doing. We’ve been asking for cooperation from the supervisors from day one. The Supervisor Chairman and Hickman said they’re more than willing to cooperate, they want to cooperate, they want to have an audit and they want to work with us. But as soon as the gavel hit, it was the complete opposite.

Jordan Conradson: Have there been any more intimidation tactics by the DOJ?
Advertisement - story continues below

Borrelli: No, and I thought that letter was kind of comical because we were not intimidated because all of the things they were accusing us of were all of the things that were caused by the Secretary of State’s office and the MCBOS. From day one we did not want any of the equipment or any of the ballots to leave the premises. We wanted to inspect the equipment there, intact, in the same environment where the election was held. So nothing needed to leave the premises and cause us to go to another location and hire a boat load of extra security and other logistics costs that we had to pay, and the SOS never once intervened and said timeout here there is a chain of custody issue.

Conradson: Will this audit continue next Monday?

Borrelli: Yes. Everything is in a secure location with armed security on them, we got cameras, lights on them. Nothings going to get near them and when we get the coliseum back, were going to continue to march and finish out the mission. You know I just find it really amazing, the supervisors, the SOS office, the Democrats are all saying this was a free and fair election. It was perfect. Ok great! Let us help you prove it. I’ve never seen someone fight so hard against somebody trying to help prove that they were elected.
The audit will continue next Monday

HUGE! Election Officials in Pennsylvania Blame “Coding Error” with Dominion Voting Machines for Flaws with Republican Votes In Primary this Week (VIDEO)

Luzerne County, Pennsylvania Director of Elections pointed to flaws with Dominion Voting Machines for issues in this week’s primary election. Ballots labeled as Democrat were popping up on the screen regardless of the voter’s party registration.

Election officials blamed a “coding error” within the Dominion voting machines.

Via PA Homepage
Republican and non-partisan voters at Luzerne County polls Tuesday encountered issues while trying to vote.

Voters were noticing incorrect labeling on electronic ballots in Luzerne County. Regardless of party, every voter was seeing a ballot labeled as democratic primary on the first screen.
“Unfortunately, this morning, the machines were all shut down and people were losing their patience and leaving,” a voter from Exeter said…

…Officials at several voting locations confirmed ballots labeled as Democrat were popping up on the screen regardless of the voter’s party registration. But workers say when the Republican ballots are printed, they do say Republican on the top.

Luzerne County Director of Elections Bob Morgan says the issue didn’t originate here in northeastern Pennsylvania. He told us several times, it was a problem with coding in the voting machines.

“It took us about probably five weeks. We gave a final product to Dominion. There is no evidence of any of this problem on the mail-in ballots which were produced from that file. We’re still working with Dominion to get an explanation as to how this coding error occurred. They were as surprised about it as we were,” Morgan said.

Democrats and Their Accomplices Are Worried About the Presidential Election in Arizona, But the Senate Is On the Line As Well

By Joe Hoft

The audit in Arizona may upend the 2020 Presidential election but it could reshape the US Senate as well.

Let’s not forget, the audit in Arizona covers both the Presidential race and the Senate race. In November, Democrat Kelly beat Republican McSally by 78,806 votes statewide.

AZ-Senate-Race-Final-Results.jpg

In Maricopa County the total difference between candidates is about the same amount with the Democrat winning by 80,183 votes:
AZ-Maricopa-Senate-Race-Final.jpg

Therefore, if the audit shows that McSally won Maricopa County, then she would win the state as well.

There’s little information out there related to a situation where fraud or errors were discovered that lead to a change of winners in a US Senate race. However, we expect that if fraud was the reason for the difference with reality, then the seat would go to the winner per the legitimate audit.

There is some information on what to do when a Senate seat becomes vacant (but this doesn’t involve fraud being the reason for the vacancy):
Senate seats become vacant for a variety of reasons — the Senator dies in office, resigns in disgrace or resigns to assume another position, usually, an elected or appointed government position.

What happens when a Senator dies in office or resigns? How is the replacement handled?

Procedures for electing Senators are outlined in Article I, Section 3 of the U.S. Constitution, as later amended by paragraph 2 of the Seventeenth (17th) Amendment. Ratified in 1913, the 17th Amendment not only changed how Senators are to be elected (direct election by popular vote) but it also outlined how Senate vacancies are to be filled:
When vacancies happen in the representation of any State in the Senate, the executive authority of such State shall issue writs of election to fill such vacancies: Provided, That the legislature of any State may empower the executive thereof to make temporary appointments until the people fill the vacancies by election as the legislature may direct.
However, these laws do not seem to be the case in Arizona because the winner most likely will be the winner of the valid count of votes, not the number currently in the books.

This is a big deal because if McSally replaces Kelly in the Senate, the US Senate immediately has a Republican majority and the members and the bills discussed will be designated by the Republicans.

Hold tight, things are going to get real – real fast.

“The Dominoes Are Starting to Fall – The Freight Train Is Coming Across the Country” – Boris Epshteyn Describes Road Ahead for Election Integrity (VIDEO)

On Thursday morning Former Special Assistant to President Trump joined Steve Bannon on The War Room to discuss the latest developments in the Arizona forensic audit and beyond.
On Wednesday Republican gubernatorial candidate Vernon Jones called for an “Arizona-style” forensic audit on the 2020 presidential election in Georgia.

The American people are not giving up on disclosing the fraud in the 2020 election — no matter what the fake-news media says!
Boris Epshteyn: Vernon Jones press conference yesterday in Georgia, let me tell you, absolutely groundbreaking… The Dominos are starting to fall. The freight train is coming across the country…

Steve Bannon:
As Dr. Peter Navarro said Georgia is the cesspool. Wisconsin is the easiest to prove. As you said, Boris, all the problems in Arizona that we’re finding and is going to flip to Trump. Mike Lindell says 80,000. Navarro says a couple hundred thousand… As bad as Pennsylvania is, and Michigan and Wisconsin, and all this, that Georgia’s the cesspool and that’s why Vernon is going for it.
Boris Epshteyn: I’m hearing rumblings out of Pennsylvania, of course, Michigan we know what’s going on there in Antrim County and Michigan broader. Wisconsin, very easy. Wisconsin, just Milwaukee, Dane County, where Madison is. We know from the audit that was already done in those two counties that they found over 200,000 unlawful ballots there in an election that was decided by 20,000.

EXCLUSIVE: Hillary’s Attorney Marc Elias, Her Campaign Manager John Podesta and Biden’s Chief of Staff Ron Klain Are Connected to Democrat Efforts to Stop the Maricopa Audit

By Joe Hoft
Published May 20, 2021 at 1:30pm
American-Oversight.jpg

Far-left ‘non-profit’ American Oversight is on the warpath suing for records the Democrat machine is after. But there is much more to this story.

The Washington Examiner reported on American Oversight yesterday and its recent actions in Arizona:
A left-leaning watchdog group on Wednesday sued the Arizona Senate for records pertaining to the “partisan” audit of the Maricopa County 2020 election.

The filing comes after American Oversight said in April it requested documents on Cyber Ninjas, the private firm conducting the inquiry, the audit’s funding and investigation techniques, and other matters. The organization said that by May 4, the Republican-led legislative body claimed there “are no more responsive documents to provide at this time because the Senate doesn’t have custody, control or possession of any of the records requested.”
In actuality, American Oversight is a slick, professional, well-funded Freedom of Information Act hit team, created to gather the intel needed to file an unending stream of lawsuits solely against Trump and the Trump administration. Already in 2021, and American Oversight is still doing its dirty work against President Trump, this time in Maricopa County.

We’ve reported on American Oversight previously:

1621543629525.png

As we noted in article above:
This NFP is yet another one from the Democrat stable which is a 510(c)(3) and, although it is required by law to be strictly nonpartisan and charitable, it is anything but. It is a well-funded, cold, and calculating legal hit team, initially designed to attack President Donald Trump.
In regards to the Maricopa audit currently in place, American Oversight declares:
The audit, which involves a hand recount of more than 2 million votes and will cost the state $150,000, is not based on any evidence of widespread voter fraud, in Maricopa County or elsewhere. In fact, an independent audit in February confirmed that the ballots in the county had been tabulated accurately and that there were no irregularities with the election equipment or software.
American Oversight doesn’t mention that not one single ballot was looked at in the audit they admire above. A few machines were looked at and taken apart and then the auditors claimed everything was fine. Maricopa County paid around $100,000 for these two audits they knew would declare everything was right with the 2020 election in the county.

But what also is startling are the entities behind American Oversight.

Right behind American Oversight is the secretive Democracy Forward and the Democracy Forward Foundation.

The real prize here is Democracy Forward.

Here’s how the crooked Democrats play their game:
  • American Oversight secures FOILs from entities they are after related to President Trump;
  • Democracy Forward then swoops in and begins the litigation;
Remember, THESE ARE “NONPARTISAN” NONPROFITS – by law these outfits must be non-partisan but clearly, they are not.

The Democrats’ most powerful and vicious law firm, Perkins Coie, and Marc Elias are absolutely behind Democracy Forward Foundation. A quick look at their 2018 makeup and you can see Hillary’s attorney, Elias, as well as Hillary’s campaign manager John Podesta and Biden’s current Chief of Staff Ron Klain.

Democracy-today-BOD.jpg

These are the people behind the investigations and certain lawsuits coming from the Democrats in Arizona. These people don’t want a free and fair election, they want to win at all costs.

Dominion Responds After Pennsylvania Election Officials Report "Coding Error" With Voting Machines

THURSDAY, MAY 20, 2021 - 02:30 PM
By Jack Phillips via The Epoch Times (emphasis ours),

Election officials in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, reported issues with voting equipment at polling places on Tuesday, prompting a response from Dominion Voting Systems saying that there was a ballot screen error regarding the viewing screen’s header.

Dominion Voting Systems told The Epoch Times that “Luzerne County’s election director has confirmed that there is a ballot screen error that is confined to the header on the viewing screen of the machine, and that all ballots are printing correctly with the Republican header and the Republican primary election races.”

The firm then noted that Luzerne County officials have assured the public that “all ballots will be correctly counted,” adding: “We regret any confusion this has caused.”

It came after voters told PAHomepage and local officials that they reported incorrect labeling on electronic ballots in Luzerne County, located in the northeastern part of the state.

Luzerne County Director of Elections Bob Morgan told local media that coding on the Dominion Voting Systems machines triggered the problem.

According to some voters and officials, speaking to WNEP, when Republican voters approach the machine to vote, the introduction page says, “Official Democratic Ballot.” A polling place in Kingston Township confirmed to the news outlet that it was forced to pause voting on Tuesday due to the issue.

“We want to assure everybody that what happens is when you are a registered Republican, we have a specific code for that ballot. And once we punch that code in, even though the header says something like ‘Democratic ballot,’ it’s actually for the races that are in the Republican party,” Morgan said, adding that the votes will be counted correctly.

Matthew Vough, a Democrat running for a county council term, told the Times Leader that voters told him that his name didn’t appear on their ballot. He said that some Democrats got the Republican ballot.

Who knows how many Democrats voted for Republican nominees? Who knows how many votes I lost as a result? This error didn’t just affect Republicans,” Vough said.

Vough added to the paper he would suggest that Luzerne County end its contract with Dominion during the next council meeting.

Morgan, meanwhile, explained to PAHomepage that “there is no evidence of any of this problem on the mail-in ballots which were produced from that file” and added that the county is “still working with Dominion to get an explanation as to how this coding error occurred. They were as surprised about it as we were.”

When asked if there was any way it was the fault of the county, Morgan said, “No.”

“We’re doing signs, we’ve contacted each of the judges of elections. We’ve asked them to place a sign at their voting place. We’re giving Republican voters the opportunity to vote by provisional or emergency ballot if they choose.”

Windham Audit Update: Machine “Two” Repeatedly Favored Democratic Candidates
By
Michelle Edwards
-May 20, 2021

Today marks day eight of the forensic audit in Windham, NH, which is scheduled to be completed by May 27. Windham constituents remain frustrated. Their requests for transparency continue to be largely ignored by the Attorney General’s office, with live stream cameras providing a very limited view of the audit proceedings. As it comes to light that “machine #2” (out of four) favors democratic party candidates, questions persist surrounding Dominion Voting Systems rep and LHS President Jeff Silvestro’s presence at the audit.

As previously reported, on Nov. 3, Republicans swept all four of Windham’s state representative seats. One Democrat, Kristi St. Laurent, fell short by just 24 votes and requested a recount.

During the Nov. 12 recount, the margin between St. Laurent and the Republican candidates shifted significantly. The vote totals for all Republican candidates in that race increased by nearly 300, while St. Laurent’s vote count decreased by almost 100.

New Hampshire, a state which prides itself as being the first primary in the campaign season, received a total of sixty-three donations from the Center for Tech and Civic Life (CTCL) in their “2020 Elections COVID-19 Grants.” Mark Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla Chan donated at least $350 million to CTCL in the months leading up to the 2020 election. CTCL then distributed the funds in the form of grants to numerous jurisdictions throughout the United States so they could hire additional staff, purchase mail-in ballot processing equipment, and other measures they considered essential to manage the election amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

View: https://youtu.be/nM_oXepJpiY
5:36 min

According to NH Assistant Attorney General Anne Edwards, Silvestro was invited by the three auditors—Harri Hursti, Phillip Stark, and Mark Lindeman—in the event instructions were needed for Windham’s four aging Diebold ES2000 Model A Voting Machines. As previously reported by UncoverDC, LHS Associates has an exclusive contract to maintain New Hampshire’s voting machines. Contradicting the Assistant AG, in an interview with local Lisa Mazur, auditor Stark indicated he did not know why Silvestro was at the audit each day speaking to people near the voting machines.

Londonderry, NH Town Clerk Sherry Farrell has been helping with the audit this week, writing, “this week I had the honor of being selected as a volunteer election official to assist with conducting the audit on the Windham, Nov. 3 general election.” A big fan of Harri Hursti, Farrell shared her excitement of being in the same room with him, professing, never thought in my wildest dreams I would have an opportunity to work with such an election mind, such an election expert.” Initially confused about a recount and an audit, Farrell explained the difference:
According to Verified Voting and other sources on Google, a recount is conducted in response to an election race that is considered to be very close or that could be in question.

Having completed the machine count last week, the auditors are currently conducting a hand count of the ballots and will begin the forensic audit of the machines next. On Monday, auditor Mark Lindeman urged the volunteers to carefully examine ballots with fold lines in them, claiming the voting machines counted some of them as votes. He added, “In some cases, fold lines are being interpreted by the scanners as valid votes. That’s something we especially want to encourage to look for at the table.”

View: https://youtu.be/egdHSseTLZE
7:52 min

An issue throughout the audit has been the memory cards in Windham’s four voting machines. The cards are wiped clean for every election, permanently erasing the previous election data on them in preparation for the next election. Emphasizing the importance of preserving the evidence on the memory cards for the current forensic audit, auditor Harri Hursti has stated it is impossible to make a copy of them.

During a Mar. 1, 2021 Board of Selectmen meeting, which Jeff Silvestro attended, a specific conversation took place about making a copy of the memory cards before the forensic audit, with the minutes revealing, “Discussion ensued in that the memory cards can be copied, and that the State intends to do so in order keep the originals in their current state.”

NH Voter Integrity Group on Facebook, May 19, 2021, “This proves the machines from 11/3 TOOK votes from these candidates redistributing them into the “blank account” and even GAVE extra votes to Kristi ONLY. Here is your proof, my friends. I’ll go on live in a bit to explain into further detail. Hursti should have never ever touched that card. Shame on him. I can’t believe the blanks net out to the distributed numbers that were off. This is a big deal, my friends.”

With the machine count of the audit now complete, a peculiar pattern became apparent with one of Windham’s four voting machines. “Machine two” repeatedly showed favoritism towards Democratic candidates. Dr. David Strang, who was pivotal in prompting the forensic audit in Windham, recently stated at least two other towns in New Hampshire with voting machines producing the same results as “machine two.” According to Dr. Strang, those voting machines were regularly fed the most ballots. Strang commented:

“Winning an election shouldn’t depend on your supporters inserting their ballots into the “right” machine, but rather, any machine, as they should all count ballots the same. Well, that’s not what happened on Nov. 3rd in Windham. NH. The numbers coming from the legislatively-ordered audit in that NH town confirm what the concerned citizens of NH have claimed all along. Our machines are not accurate and cannot be trusted to accurately count our votes.”

View: https://youtu.be/nhIU5MJUgNs
1:03 min

Increasingly, Windham voters have declared that a hand-count of the ballots is the only way to ensure accuracy. Dr. Strang agrees, remarking, “The fact that these machines do not agree with each other and have such a wide variation amongst the four just for the repeat audit machine count alone, means that the hand recount totals from Nov. 12th are likely to be the only accurate tally.”

Members of the Government Integrity Project are taking matters into their own hands. For over two months, they have been gathering copies of Nov. 3rd election tapes from towns across New Hampshire and conducting their own “citizen’s audit,” which, according to Lisa Mazur, should be finished in the next few weeks, comparing totals against registered voters and other accessible data.

Gov-Integrity-Project.jpg

The Government Integrity Project, a movement made up of New Hampshire voters who want to “protect and restore Liberties as defined in our Country’s Founding Documents,” has its official launch this Saturday, May 22. The locally promoted “official launch” will provide the latest update on the forensic audit in Windham from the group’s founders and long-time Windham residents Ken Eyring and Tom Murray, as well Senator Bob Giuda and Marilyn Todd, of the NH Voter Integrity Group.

On Thursday, auditor Philip Stark announced that the scheduled audit day for the upcoming weekend had been changed from Sunday, May 23 to Saturday, May 22, from 9 am – 6 pm. With the crucial forensic audit of the machines next on the agenda, several Windham audit observers who planned to attend the official launch of the Government Integrity Project on Saturday and the audit on Sunday are re-thinking their plans and questioning the motive behind the date change.

Leaked Audio: Superintendent Tells Teachers CRT ‘Isn’t Optional Anymore…If You’re Not Willing Then Maybe This Isn’t The Right Place For You’

“... it needs to be everybody, to include our staff, our students, our community, eventually everyone.”

For months, teachers from across the country have been reaching out to me with stories about bullying and intimidation in the workplace related to diversity training and radical changes to curriculum. Recently, an anonymous teacher in Beaverton, Oregon, sent me a recording from a zoom call in which the superintendent clearly implies that teachers who are not ideologically aligned with the administration on its “anti-racism” agenda would not be welcome to continue teaching in the district.

The quote was recorded during an equity committee meeting via Zoom on January 28th, in which the group was discussing an upcoming mandatory staff training on “anti-racism.” In the clip, superintendent Don Grotting states:
I do want the message to get out there that this [anti-racism training] isn’t optional anymore. We’ve waited for the willing, and if you’re not willing then maybe this isn’t the right place for you to work. Maybe we can free up your future, because if we’re going to become an anti-racist school district, it cant just be a few people, it needs to be everybody, to include our staff, our students, our community, eventually everyone.
The term “anti-racist” was popularized by thought leader Ibram X. Kendi in his book “How To Be An Antiracist,” which asserts that individuals must choose sides: either “racist” or “anti-racist.” Kendi claims that in order to be “anti-racist” one must actively advocate for a specific left-wing ideological and political agenda in both word and deed. His theories, which are heavily informed by Critical Race Theory, have been widely implemented in education circles, including in Beaverton.

As details about this radical theory and its infiltration in schools have come to light, an increasing number of parents, teachers and community members have criticized it as divisive and counterproductive. One counterintuitive result of these “anti-racist” teachings is the growing phenomenon of neo-segregation, which I have covered in the past, and which has also been embraced by the Beaverton Independent School District.

Despite the broader conversation about CRT and growing skepticism concerning Kendi’s ideas, Grotting states clearly in the Zoom clip that dissent and questioning will not be tolerated in Beaverton.

The audio recording was submitted to The Daily Wire by a concerned parent on behalf of an anonymous teacher. According to a different parent in the same district, who independently reached out about the same issue, many of the teachers afraid to speak publicly about the trainings identify as liberal Democrats. Liberal teachers often feel they have the most to lose by speaking up, citing fear of repercussions in their social lives, friendships, and even marriages.

While many Americans struggle with self-censorship in the workplace, few industries have embraced political correctness as militantly as the education establishment. Part of that may be due to the fact that the bulk of the employees are more financially beholden to their employers than workers in other industries, making dissent more risky. Many educators fear not just the loss of their livelihood, but also their pensions and future employability if they speak their mind about issues relating to “equity.” As one teacher in Minnesota put it, the easiest thing to do is just quietly wait to retire or transfer to another district, “because you need to be in good standing” in order to access those benefits or even to work somewhere else.

As I reported earlier this spring about Leander, Texas, administrators specifically target threats toward older teachers who are seen as less compliant with the new “equity” culture. In Texas, a school board member was recorded as threatening teachers that if they “can’t get on board” with new changes to the curriculum, they will be “managed out.” Those who have worked for Leander for “more than 20 years” were singled out as most likely to be non-compliant, and were invited to “show themselves the door.”

The phenomenon of repressive self-censorship also extends to private schools, which was expertly exposed by journalist Bari Weiss earlier this spring in her piece “The Miseducation of America’s Elites.”

However, there are hopeful signs of parents and teachers fighting back. From teachers like Paul Rossi blasting his elite private institution, to record parent participation at local school board meetings, more people are speaking up. The debate about Critical Race Theory is just now heating up in the mainstream — and we will continue to report on it.

This story is part of my ongoing efforts to expose radical ideology in schools and institutions.

House passes $1.9 billion post-Jan. 6 security spending bill by one vote, two GOP members miss vote

Progressive members of the House like Rep. Omar joined GOP members in voting against the bill

By Nicholas Ballasy
Updated: May 20, 2021 - 1:50pm

A$1.9 billion post-Jan. 6 riot security funding bill passed by just one vote Thursday in the Democratic-led House, with two Republican members missing the vote.

Member of the House Democrats' progressive wing including Rep. Ilhan Omar joined Republican members in voting against the bill, which passed 213-212. However, progressive stalwarts Democratic Reps. Rashida Tlaib, of Michigan, and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, of New York, voted present.

House members are able to vote by proxy in lieu of in-person voting due to rule changes passed during the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite this, two Republican members, Rep. John Carter, of Texas, and Rep. Daniel Webster ,of Florida, missed the vote, according to the roll call. Every other Republican voted against the measure.

Following the vote, Omar, of Minnesota, said: "I vote on principles and I just could not justify this."

The supplemental security bill was drafted in response to the Jan. 6 riot. According to the House Appropriations Committee majority, the bill includes new security measures such as "creating a dedicated Quick Reaction Force to augment the Capitol Police in cases of emergency" and the installation of a retractable fence around the Capitol building.

The office of House Republican leader Kevin McCarthy did not response before publication to a request by Just the News for comment about the bill's narrow passage and the two members of his conference being absent for the vote.

Fann Calls Special Meeting And BOS Refuses To Attend
By
Wendi Strauch Mahoney
-May 19, 2021

Arizona Senate President Karen Fann had hoped the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors (BOS) would show up to the voluntary meeting she called yesterday to ensure the Senate and the people of Arizona adequately understand and “feel confident about how the election process works” concerning the 2020 election. It has been a costly and contentious battle between the Senate and the BOS since December. Fann disclosed that she is “disappointed and saddened by the hurtful comments” that were made yesterday by the BOS, “some of whom are friends.”

Screen-Shot-2021-05-19-at-1.13.08-PM.png
AZ Senate President Karen Fann/Special Meeting/May 18, 2021
“It has caused nothing but delays, delays, delays,” said Fann, “Every time we have asked them to please work with us on this, we have received nothing but push-back—to the point where they don’t even want to answer our simplest questions. This is frustrating, but we will get this. This is our job. We owe it to our constituents to get their questions answered.”

The May 18 meeting followed on the heels of Tuesday’s Board of Supervisors’ emergency session. After which, two letters were issued responding to a letter sent by Fann on May 12— although the May 18 meeting had been requested before the BOS had decided to call an emergency session. The emergency session and letters were covered in an UncoverDC article on Tuesday.

Present for Wednesday’s special meeting were Senate President Fann; Warren Petersen, chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee; Ken Bennett, who was a former Secretary of State and is now Fann’s selection for liaison for the forensic audit; and two experts—Cyber Ninjas’ CEO Doug Logan, and Ben Cotton, the founder of CyFIR.

Several important issues were clarified in the meeting—one of them pertained to how this audit is different from the audits already performed there. Logan explained that the first audit was primarily a review of the version of software on the voting equipment that was the one actually in use during the election. He said that they ran some “off-the-shelf software” to detect whether there was malware on the machines, and they ran logic and accuracy testing on sample ballots.

Logan explained, “At no point in any of those audits did they take a look at actual ballots, run those ballots through the system, and do actual counting of it to validate the results.” Logan added that the audit being conducted now is “focused specifically on the results—are the results exactly as they came through, the way they were cast? And does it go all the way through the system that way?” Logan also clarified that the issue with the blue pens was immediately rectified, and there were never any ballots on the floor while the blue pens were present.

Ken Bennett spoke about the chain of custody issue. He was present for the hand-off of all 2.1 million ballots on April 21 and 22. However, he clarified that the chain of custody questions posed in Fann’s letter pertained not to the hand-off in April but the paperwork and procedures having to do with the period between the election and April 21. Counties do not all perform chain-of-custody procedures exactly the same way, although there are statutes and guidelines in place for the state.

Bennett also addressed the issue of routers. About a week before the machines were to be delivered, he contacted the Deputy County Attorney to offer a contractor who could travel to the location where the routers were stored and look at them on location “while they were still installed and in place at the Maricopa County Tabulation and Election Center (MCTEC).” Bennett relayed that LaRue called him the next day to tell him that the equipment had already been removed and had “been replaced at great expense to the county and that all of that would be delivered on a palette with the rest of the equipment on April 21st.” On April 21st, LaRue decided not to deliver it and told Bennett he would receive only virtual access. Within a few days, that offer was also rescinded “because the routers in MCTEC were somehow connected to the Sheriff’s department and other county departments and that if they gave them to us or even virtual access, social security numbers and county health records would be at risk.” They were also promised detailed logs of network activity, called Splunk Logs. No access was granted.

Cotton, who has testified before Congress on high-level cybersecurity issues, explained the function of routers. “It is the carrier that delivers the envelope (or packets) to the correct mailbox.” The “PII [personally identifiable information] and Maricopa County resident data should not be present on the routers.” He said the assertion that the data would be compromised is confusing at best and an “inaccurate” characterization of what would be on those routers. There have been “statements by the county that these election systems don’t actually touch the internet, therefore, the extension of that would be that they do not touch the county network because that’s exposed to the internet. And to say that the data corresponding to these networks would somehow compromise law enforcement activity, or PII data seems incongruous to the previous statements.”

Cotton added that if you take the BOS letter at face value, it would follow that “election data had to be exposed to the internet… and is something we need to explore, given the inconsistencies in these statements.” CyFIR is routinely entrusted with highly sensitive data with large private and government entities at the highest level, according to Cotton.

Logan spoke about some of the exhibits from the BOS letter regarding record keeping with the duplicate ballots. He gave examples of how the specific exhibited explanations offered on Tuesday do not measure up to their understanding of how those ballots should be recorded. The box counts are still off, according to Logan, and he still doesn’t understand why.

Screen-Shot-2021-05-19-at-12.31.09-PM.png
BOS Letter/Exhibit Explanation/Doug Logan/May 18, 2021
Bennett added that serial numbers on duplicate ballots also do not match original ballots in many cases, “batch after batch after batch of duplicate ballots…do not match up one for one.”

Bennett explained that the duplicate should be a “true duplicate copy in every way.” Bennett also recounted that Maricopa county officials have said repeatedly on the phone and in emails “that they will not interact directly with the auditors, which is very unfortunate because the auditors can’t pose these questions directly to the county.” This serial number issue was discovered only “a few days ago,” Bennett added.

Logan was satisfied with how Maricopa County answered the questions about the seals and the bags of ballots. He was expecting that the ballots would be delivered to him sealed. However, according to Bennett, ballot batches need to be delineated and organized better than how they are now. Logan explained that consistent recordkeeping for a detailed audit like the one being performed in Maricopa County is critical. With the current procedures, it is very difficult to match batches of ballots with the ballots provided—a problem if accuracy is the goal of the audit.

Part of Cotton’s purview is the configuration of the tabulators. He has questions about the configuration and capabilities of the tabulators because he is missing admin passwords. It is difficult to determine those configurations without access to admin passwords.

Maricopa County employs two full-time contractors from Dominion Voting Systems who have access to that information, according to Cotton. Cotton wants to understand whether Verizon wireless cards are inside the tabulators but hasn’t been able to verify that with the county. Cotton questioned why Maricopa County does not have control over their equipment when it comes to “preparing for their own election” and “cannot validate their own systems” because they have no access to the passwords. The meeting clarified that the passwords requested do not give access to the source code. Cotton said it would only take about two days to examine the equipment if provided with the admin passwords.

With regard to the deleted database, Cotton’s findings contradicted the answers in the BOS response letter. He stated he did, in fact, find that a database directory was deleted, but he has since been able to recover those files.

Security was discussed in the meeting and Bennett made it clear that security is extremely tight. The ballots are in locked cages, secured by guards, with 24-hour live-streaming security cameras. The only breach was a person from the press who was later identified as an official observer for Secretary of State, Katie Hobbs.

In her May 18 daily audit check-in, GOP Chair, Kelli Ward, said that Tuesday’s meeting represented “everything that is right with America’s audit.

Arizona GOP Chair Kelli Ward Threatens Arrests In Arizona Election Audit
May 20, 2021

ward.jpg

Written by Carmine Sabia
OPINION: This article contains commentary which reflects the author's opinion

The Arizona Republican Party Chair Kelli Ward has had it with what she sees as the obstruction in the Maricopa County, Arizona election audit and now she is threatening action.

“There have to be consequences,” she said during an appearance on One America News, The Daily Mail reported. “There could be arrests of people who are refusing to comply.”

It’s the latest drama to encompass the audit of the 2.1 million ballots in the state’s largest county, which has featured false allegations votes were destroyed and conspiracy theories alleging the ballots were shredded and eaten by chickens, who were then killed to cover up the evidence.

Ward’s comments came after the Republican-controlled Board of Supervisors for Maricopa County refused to attend a meeting Tuesday with GOP senators who had demanded the audit. The board called the audit was a ‘sham’ run by ‘grifters’ that cast doubts upon the democratic process.

And it wasn’t the first time an arrest has been suggested.

In February, when the county was arguing against the audit in court, most Arizona Republican senators supported a resolution to hold the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors in contempt and arrest supervisors for failing to turn over access to voting records. The resolution failed to pass but showed the mindset of those elected officials who demanded the audit.

Her interview came on the same day that it was discovered that election data that was rumored to have been deleted was found.

The information that was alleged to have been deleted has been recovered, an auditor said on Tuesday, The Arizona Mirror reported.

At a hearing on Tuesday afternoon in the Senate, CyFIr founder Ben Cotton, a subcontractor on Senate President Karen Fann’s audit team, said that his team was able to recover data that the Senate’s election team had accused Maricopa County of deleting.

“I’ve been able to recover all of those deleted files, and I have access to that data,” he said at the hearing. “I have the information I need from the recovery efforts of the data.”
Maricopa County officials responded in a tweet after the hearing.

“Just want to underscore that AZ Senate’s @ArizonaAudit account accused Maricopa County of deleting files- which would be a crime- then a day after our technical letter explained they were just looking in the wrong place- all of a sudden ‘auditors’ have recovered the files,” it said.

Cotton’s explanation indicates that county officials were correct when they said no files had been deleted.

The audit’s official Twitter account explicitly claimed the county “deleted a directory full of election databases from the 2020 election cycle” shortly before turning over its ballot tabulation machines to the audit. To back up its claim, it posted a screenshot purporting to show a list of deleted files, all of which were shown as being modified on April 12, about a week and a half before the county delivered the machines to Veterans Memorial Coliseum, where the audit is being conducted.

Last week State Senate President Karen Fann asked for county officials to come and meet with her to “constructively resolve” issues with the audit, including the reported claim that a “main database” in the Election Management System was deleted, The Arizona Independent Journal reported.

“We have recently discovered that the entire ‘Database’ directory from the D drive of the machine ‘EMSPrimary’ has been deleted,” she said in a letter on Wednesday to Maricopa County Board of Supervisors Chair Jack Sellers. “This removes election-related details that appear to have been covered by the subpoena.”

“This suggests that the main database for all election-related data for the November 2020 General Election has been removed,” she said. “Can you please advise as to why these folders were deleted, and whether there are any backups that may contain the deleted folders?”

This is a big deal because if McSally replaces Kelly in the Senate, the US Senate immediately has a Republican majority and the members and the bills discussed will be designated by the Republicans.

Hold tight, things are going to get real – real fast.
THIS is the reason that Maine Senator Susan Collins suddenly got notified of "investigations" by the FBI - which you know will find Collins culpable. Collins will be forced out and Maine Governor Janet Mills (Democrat) will "temporarily" install a favored Democrat Interim Senator until statewide elections can be held. Shenna Bellows (Democrat who ran against Susan Collins and lost, currently being rewarded by appointment as Maine Secretary of State) will do her best to hold off state elections for as long as the Democratic Congressional Leadership requires the plurality.

Arizona secretary of state threatens to decertify equipment examined by 2020 election auditors

by Jeremy Beaman, Breaking News Reporter |
May 20, 2021 05:15 PM

Arizona Secretary of State Katie Hobbs told officials in Maricopa County that she would consider decertifying election equipment subpoenaed as part of the Senate-commissioned 2020 election audit if the county moves to reuse the equipment in future elections.

Hobbs, a Democrat, wrote in a Thursday letter to members of the county’s Board of Supervisors that she has “grave concerns” over the integrity of voting systems that Cyber Ninjas, a Florida-based firm which has been conducting the audit on behalf of the Republican-led Arizona Senate, has been examining.

"If the County intends to re-deploy the subpoenaed equipment, over which the County lost custody and control, for use in future Arizona elections, please notify my Office as soon as possible ... so that we may properly consider decertification proceedings pursuant to A.R.S. § 16-442 as to the subpoenaed equipment," Hobbs wrote.

“Instead, the county should acquire new machines to ensure secure and accurate elections in Maricopa County going forward,” she added.

The secretary of state said her office consulted with election security experts, including some who work for the Department of Homeland Security’s Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, for guidance on the issue.

“Each unanimously advised that once election officials lose custody and control over voting systems and components, those devices should not be reused in future elections,” she said, adding, "Rather, decommissioning and replacing those devices is the safest option as no methods exist to adequately ensure those machines are safe to use in future elections.”

Hobbs specified that her threat to decertify equipment applied only to “specific pieces of subpoenaed election equipment that the county turned over to the Senate and its contractors, and not to the underlying Dominion voting system.”

County Spokesman Fields Moseley told the Washington Examiner that the county received the letter and that it “is being reviewed by our attorneys and they will advise Board members before they take next steps.”

Hobbs and other local officials have been highly critical of the effort to examine election equipment and the 2.1 million ballots cast in Maricopa County during the 2020 presidential election.

“Your ‘audit,’ which you once said was intended to increase voters’ confidence in our electoral process, has devolved into a circus,” the Board of Supervisors said in a Monday letter to Senate President Karen Fann.

Republican officials, including former President Donald Trump, support the audit effort. Trump insisted it will reveal Arizona as a "scam election" state.

Arizona Audit Terrifies Democrats And GOP ‘Establishment’

by Christopher G. Adamo
May 20, 2021

The massive effort to suppress any news of the Maricopa County Arizona audit highlights not only the alarming extent of the leftist “Deep State,” but also its greatest weakness. An ideology built entirely on lies -and this accurately defines the underlying belief system of the left, which is Marxism- cannot be implemented honestly and openly. It can only be advanced through the total intimidation and silencing of all opposition, along with an incessant barrage of more lies. The mere presence of truth can deal a fatal blow to it.

The leftist Fake News crowd rarely mentions the Arizona audit, but when they do their “coverage” is venomous and disparaging. Moreover, the audit is being condemned on a “bipartisan” basis (assuming leftist Democrats and their RINO lackeys aren’t actually in the same “party”) as everything from “criminal” to “an attack on the Constitution,” to flatly “un-American.”

Excuses and justifications for such accusations vary wildly, the only element of consistency among them being the frenzied effort to stop the audit by any means, before any factual information can be derived from it.

When voices of sanity are finally heard (and understandably, these are only from the right), they ask: If the vote in November was conducted honestly and legitimately, why would anyone be concerned about an audit? Under those circumstances, all it could accomplish would be to validate the leftist Democrat claims that the election was conducted honestly and legitimately.

And of course the underlying reason for all the leftist Democrat and RINO squalling becomes self-evident at that point.

Nevertheless, this all-encompassing question needs to be repeated on every possible occasion!

The tenor of leftist Democrat and RINO rancor over the audit is itself evidence of how thoroughly corrupt the “System” is, an that everyone knows it. The loudest voices must be identified and indelibly tagged for their complicity in the election theft and the ongoing attempted coup of the United States of America. Otherwise, regardless of any audit outcome, the cancer will remain in place, to metastasize once again, the moment an opportunity is presented.

The physical circumstances on sight in Arizona are themselves very disturbing, and very telling.

Leftists have engaged in open harassment and attempts at intimidation of auditors. Democrat organizations from outside the state have filed several lawsuits in an attempt to shut down the audit. In every possible manner, the political left is showing its visceral fear of what the audit will likely reveal.

Already, enough information has been collected to prove rampant chicanery during the election. Whether or not the corrupt acts were sufficient to change the outcome is not officially established… yet. But leftist Democrat and RINO behavior shows that opponents of the audit have a good idea of what the answer is.

Among those behaving like cornered animals are the “caretakers” of Maricopa County voting machines. After stonewalling in every possible manner when computer servers were subpoenaed, they finally delivered the servers with memories “wiped,” of significant information in the exact manner that Hillary Clinton’s computer servers were handed over to law enforcement. And that is certainly no coincidence.

Without dwelling excessively on the fact that, had any conservative behaved in this manner when faced with a subpoena (and assuming the FBI didn’t just break down every door and forcibly confiscate the subpoenaed items), cries of “obstructing justice” would have resounded 24/7 from every news outlet, coast to coast. Yet the silence among them all is “deafening” in the current circumstance.

Fortunately, the pro-America, pro-Constitution Arizona Senate, the driving force behind the audit, is fully aware of the vile nature of its leftist “Deep State” opposition, and has been several steps ahead of it from the moment the audit became a reality. Leftist dirty tricks have not prevailed, including the attempted destruction of those “wiped” computer files, which have now been forensically recovered. It is guaranteed that behind closed doors, leftist Democrats and any who collaborated with them went into a total panic, the moment this news became public.

The dominoes are already falling. Audits are being demanded in other swing states. Wisconsin has made preliminary the steps to conduct one, and not surprisingly is facing much the same opposition and contrived outrage as did Arizona. Georgia Gubernatorial candidate Vernon Jones is publicly calling for an audit there. As evidence of a stolen election surfaces in any location, the determination to uncover it elsewhere will only multiply.

Jones and Georgia, in particular, spotlight a profoundly significant element of the entire election fraud and theft. Jones is running for Governor as a Republican, against “Republican” incumbent Brian Kemp. If all was honest and above board, Kemp would be eagerly advocating a full and comprehensive audit. He flatly denied any wrongdoing in the election aftermath, and impeded every attempt at implementing even the most cursory “post mortem.” So a thorough audit of an honest election would completely vindicate Kemp, while making Jones look totally ridiculous and dooming his electoral prospects. But of course Kemp’s response to the call is precisely the opposite. And nobody is surprised.

America’s very future as a Constitutional Republic hangs in the balance. This is not about everyday partisan politics, or any of the platitudes by which the Washington D.C. swamp will vainly attempt to trivialize it. This is about returning the voice to the people, and restoring the Constitution of the United States. A word of advice to both leftist Democrats and their RINO lackeys: Do not attempt any more of your flailing efforts to suppress or bypass the truth through transparent lies and juvenile mockery. “We The People” know, by your actions, which side you are on.

MSNBC’S Joe Scarborough Spreads Debunked Lie: Trump Rioters Came to Capitol to ‘Kill Cops’
by Kyle Beckerabout 23 hours agoupdated about 5 hours ago
Screenshot-5_19_2021-7_55_44-PM-758x374.jpg

MSNBC host Joe Scarborough continued the left’s revisionist history of the January 6th Capitol Riots by conjuring up Trump supporters who went to the protest to “kill cops.”

Video on website 1:11 min

“The police had guns drawn to stop the insurrections from coming in and killing members of the House,” Scarborough said. “So, yes, they’re lying.”

Joe Scarborough is the one who is lying. In January, days after the Capitol riots, the myth that “capture and kill” teams were among the protesters was debunked.

“The top federal prosecutor for the District of Columbia said Friday that investigators have not uncovered direct evidence at this point of any ‘kill/capture teams’ targeting elected officials during the U.S. Capitol insurrection,” NPR reported.

Furthermore, no one actually at the Capitol building was found to be armed with a firearm. Byron York also shows this widespread media narrative to be false.

“On many other occasions, the rioters were described simply as ‘armed’,” York writes at the Examiner. “But the description requires an asterisk that is rarely, if ever, applied. A small number of the rioters did indeed have baseball bats or bear spray, and a few used flagsticks or even, in one case, a crutch as weapons to assault Capitol police. But the armed insurrectionists did not use any firearms. Before January 6, if anyone heard the phrase ‘armed insurrection,’ he or she might have assumed guns were involved. At the Capitol riot, they weren’t.”

Indeed, the only person that can be proven to have died from violence at the Capitol riots was Trump supporter Ashli Babbitt, who was shot and killed by an unidentified Capitol Police officer.

The officer’s identity has been deliberately withheld from the press. Brian Sicknick, championed as a martyr due to his tragic death after the Capitol riots, mysteriously died from multiple strokes, according to the medical examiner’s report. The media had claimed that Sicknick died to an attack from Trump supporters, including speculation that bear spray had caused a fatal reaction.

Scarborough then claimed that Republicans who oppose Pelosi’s January 6th commission, such as Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, do not want “transparency.” This is an odd claim from a media that opposes every sincere effort to find out what happened in swing states during the 2020 election.

“They don’t, Kasie, want transparency,” Scarborough said after lying through his teeth. “They don’t want truth. And certainly they are following the ring leader of the conspiracy to commit sedition against the United States government and stop the counting of the votes that day and that, of course, Donald J. Trump.”

This is another blatant lie. There is no evidence that Donald Trump sought for anyone to stop the counting of Biden votes, as if this would constitute a “coup.” An actual coup is used with an armed force, such as a military. Any political observer with half a brain knows this, and unarmed Trump supporters could not pull off a “coup,” but yet the media persists with the lies that they did pose such a threat. It’s sheer nonsense.

“And so once again, they blindly follow,” Scarborough continued. “As somebody, Kasie, who was there, you know full well as do all of these members who were lying to their constituents these weren’t just tourists ambling through, taking pictures of — of — of statues in Statutory Hall or rubbing Will Rogers’ shoe for good luck. They were there looking to find people, hurt people, kill cops, almost killed quite a few. And — and you know, put bear spray into cop’s face who eventually died.”

A responsible network would throw Scarborough off the air for deliberately misleading his audience with divisive lies, which are easily exposed with a modicum of intellectually honest research. Since this is MSNBC, however, lying to the audience is not a bug, but a feature.

Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger Running for Reelection Despite GOP Criticism

BY SAMUEL ALLEGRI
May 19, 2021 Updated: May 19, 2021

Republican Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger confirmed that he will be running for reelection next year.

“I still enjoy the job and, yes, I’m running again,” Raffensperger said on Tuesday during a speech before the Rotary Club of Gwinnett County, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.

He will have to contend with another primary challenger, Rep. Jody Hice (R-Ga.), who has been endorsed by former President Donald Trump.

Raffensperger faces disapproval from the GOP over his handling of the presidential election and a call with Trump that was leaked to the press.

During the Jan. 2 call, Trump told Raffensperger in reference to the election: “I just want to find 11,780 votes.”

President Joe Biden won the state by the narrow abovementioned margin. Trump also maintained in the phone call that “We won by hundreds of thousands of votes”—which was challenged repeatedly by Raffensperger’s team, drawing discontent from Trump.

Raffensperger then suggested that the call was leaked to The Washington Post from his office.
“It was a private conversation. [Trump] broke privacy when he put out a tweet, but then his tweet was false,” Raffensperger told WXIA at the time.

“If President Trump hadn’t have tweeted out anything and would’ve stayed silent, we would’ve stayed silent as well. And that would’ve just been a conversation between him and I, man to man, and that would’ve been just fine with us. But he’s the one that had to put it out on Twitter,” he said.

Trump’s lawyer Kurt Hilbert condemned the leak, saying “we are disappointed that the secretary of state and his staff secretly recorded and released a confidential settlement discussion.”

The full transcript of the call that later emerged showed that before Trump said he wanted to “find” the 11,780 votes, he had asked election officials to look into a number of specific claims of election irregularities—something he had been saying publicly for weeks, prior to the call.

Raffensperger insists that he has preserved the rule of law and that his stance has met with agreement from “commonsense Republicans.”

“Commonsense Republicans like the stance that I took because they know they’re based on the truth, they’re based on the law and they’re based on integrity,” he told The Hill last month.
“The election results will be the election results. Candidates have to learn that when they lose, to just accept their defeat and move on,” Raffensperger said.

The Epoch Times reached out to Jody Hice for comment.

Misprints In Over 14,000 Mail-In Ballots Causes Multi-Day Delay In PA Election Results.
ballot
Thousands of mail-in primary ballots in a Pennsylvania election contained errors rendering them unable for scanning, forcing officials to launch a multi-day hand count of the votes.

“Elections officials said Michigan Elections Resources printed multi-sheet ballots in the wrong order, so the scanners are rejecting those ballots,” local media in Lancaster Country reported.

Discovered on Tuesday in the early morning, the error affected 14,000 mail-in ballots and will take three to four days to rectify.

“Those are being put in bins by themselves, the rejected bins. They will be put in a secure location and then hopefully starting Friday, as long as we can get the amount of people we’re going to need in order to do this, we’ll start to hand count those on Friday,” said Christa Miller, of the Lancaster County Board of Elections.

“Officials said election results from the polling places and the mail ballots that are able to be scanned will be posted after the polls close Tuesday night, but full results won’t be available until the hand count is completed,” local news added.
