Time Magazine: ‘Secret,’ ‘Well-funded Cabal’ Worked to ‘Protect’ 2020 Election

Time magazine has published a detailed account of what it describes as a “conspiracy” between “left-wing activists and business titans” to create “an extraordinary shadow effort” to “protect” the 2020 presidential election.

The New York Times had reported on the effort in January, referring to the “Democracy Defense Coalition.” The Daily Beast hinted at it in the fall. But the Time article is the most in-depth report at what others suggested was going on behind the scenes.

The article by Molly Ball, titled “The Secret History of the Shadow Campaign That Saved the 2020 Election,” presents the effort as a heroic effort to preserve a free and fair election, and to fend off President Donald Trump’s anticipated claims of fraud.

Ball’s description, however, also matches what she calls a “paranoid” view of an effort to make it difficult for Trump to win:
The handshake between business and labor was just one component of a vast, cross-partisan campaign to protect the election–an extraordinary shadow effort dedicated not to winning the vote but to ensuring it would be free and fair, credible and uncorrupted. For more than a year, a loosely organized coalition of operatives scrambled to shore up America’s institutions as they came under simultaneous attack from a remorseless pandemic and an autocratically inclined President. Though much of this activity took place on the left, it was separate from the Biden campaign and crossed ideological lines, with crucial contributions by nonpartisan and conservative actors.

Their work touched every aspect of the election. They got states to change voting systems and laws and helped secure hundreds of millions in public and private funding. They fended off voter-suppression lawsuits, recruited armies of poll workers and got millions of people to vote by mail for the first time. They successfully pressured social media companies to take a harder line against disinformation and used data-driven strategies to fight viral smears. They executed national public-awareness campaigns that helped Americans understand how the vote count would unfold over days or weeks, preventing Trump’s conspiracy theories and false claims of victory from getting more traction. After Election Day, they monitored every pressure point to ensure that Trump could not overturn the result.

That’s why the participants want the secret history of the 2020 election told, even though it sounds like a paranoid fever dream–a well-funded cabal of powerful people, ranging across industries and ideologies, working together behind the scenes to influence perceptions, change rules and laws, steer media coverage and control the flow of information. They were not rigging the election; they were fortifying it. And they believe the public needs to understand the system’s fragility in order to ensure that democracy in America endures.
Ball describes the participants in this plan as “democracy campaigners.” It was led by Mike Podhorzer, a “senior adviser to the president of the AFL-CIO,” one of the nation’s most powerful labor unions, aligned with the Democratic Party.

Ball notes:
In his apartment in the D.C. suburbs, Podhorzer began working from his laptop at his kitchen table, holding back-to-back Zoom meetings for hours a day with his network of contacts across the progressive universe: the labor movement; the institutional left, like Planned Parenthood and Greenpeace; resistance groups like Indivisible and MoveOn; progressive data geeks and strategists, representatives of donors and foundations, state-level grassroots organizers, racial-justice activists and others.
By April, she notes, Podhorzer was hosting two-and-a-half-hour Zoom meetings with other participants in the project. They pushed Congress to fund vote by mail, and persuaded Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg to contributed hundreds of millions of dollars to “election administration funding.” (As Breitbart News warned, Zuckerberg’s donations looked more like a Democrat get-out-the-vote effort, and was aimed primarily at Democrat-heavy counties in key battleground states.)

The campaign also used legal efforts to change voting procedures during the COVID pandemic, leading to a “revolution” in mail-in voting: ” Only a quarter of voters cast their ballots the traditional way: in person on Election Day,” Ball notes.

The group also used a “nameless, secret project” to fight “disinformation.” Their method was “to pressure platforms to enforce their rules, both by removing content or accounts that spread disinformation.” Ball does not mention the New York Post‘s story about Hunter Biden’s laptop, but tech companies, mainstream media outlets, and former intelligence officials leapt in October to call the laptop potential Russian “disinformation,” and to suppress it. Twitter blocked links to the story, and also locked the Post out of its account for more than two weeks. The story was later shown to be true, with Hunter Biden announcing — after the election — that he was under FBI investigation.

The group also decided to exploit the violent unrest that spread across the nation in the wake of George Floyd’s death in May, and took steps “to harness its momentum for the election without allowing it to be co-opted by politicians.”

Toward the end of the election, Ball reports, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce set aside old disputes to join the AFL-CIO in creating an alliance to reject claims of election fraud. Ball notes that some Republicans also aided in the effort.

As Breitbart News reported at the time, there was a nationwide left-wing movement to unleash more unrest if Trump claimed victory in a close election.

Ball’s reporting confirms that the “shadow” effort was coordinating such efforts.

She adds that the “national mobilization network” was told to “stand down” after it appeared Biden would be the winner.

Later, she says, Podhorzer’s network decided to make sure there were few counter-demonstrators at the January 6 “Stop the Steal” demonstration in Washington, DC, ensuring that blame for what happened would be placed on Trump alone.

Trump Refuses To Testify At "Public Relations Stunt" Impeachment Trial

by Tyler Durden
Friday, Feb 05, 2021 - 11:12

Yesterday, the Democrats' House impeachment managers formally invited former President Trump to testify "either before, or during" his Senate impeachment trial (and face cross-examination). Questions would specifically focus on his role in "inciting a mob" - as the Democrats put it - to "attack" the Capitol on Jan. 6.

Well, Trump's team has finally come up with their answer, and it's a resounding "no". But not only that: Trump advisor and spokesman Jason Miller also denounced the Democrats' continued fixation with impeachment as "an unconstitutional proceeding" and "a public relations stunt"
. Trump's senate "trial" will proceed on Feb. 9 after the House already passed articles of impeachment, officially making Trump the first president to be impeached twice.

Democrats say following through with the trial is important to ensure that Trump faces "accountability" for the events of Jan. 6, when a crowd of his supporters rallied at the Capitol following a speech by Trump where he urged them to pressure VP Mike Pence to reject the results of the 2020 presidential vote and reinstall Trump for another term. Even though they Dems know full-well that Trump and anyone in his orbit will simply refuse to testify, or simply ignore subpoenas like they did last time, if it comes to that.

But while the trials' political and theatrical elements are obvious, the real reason Democrats seem so obsessed with impeachment is that if they can swing a conviction, they could then hold a second vote to "disqualify" Trump from ever seeking office again, which would rule out the 2024 run that Trump has promised his supporters (though he'll be in his late 70s).

From the AP:
Hours after the Democrats’ request was revealed, Trump adviser Jason Miller dismissed the trial as “an unconstitutional proceeding” and said the former president would not testify. Separately, Trump’s lawyers denounced the request as a “public relations stunt.”
A few hours after Jamie Raskin, who is leading the impeachment management team, asked Trump to testify, Trump attorneys Bruce Castor and David Schoen responded that the letter to Trump from the Democrats proves that Democrats "cannot prove your allegations" and that an impeachment trial is too serious "to try to play these games."

Raskin responded that Trump's refusal "speaks volumes and plainly establishes an adverse inference supporting his guilt." Democrats have repeatedly argued that Republicans are resorting to calling the process "unconstitutional" because they can’t defend the former president’s actions, and they point to the many legal scholars who have said the trial is on firm constitutional ground.

"Any official accused of inciting armed violence against the government of the United States should welcome the chance to testify openly and honestly - that is, if the official had a defense," he said in a statement.
Meanwhile, defense lawyers and many Senate Republicans have argued that the trial is unconstitutional because Trump is no longer in office, even though he was impeached while he was still president. In a test vote in the Senate last week, 45 Republicans voted for an effort to dismiss the trial on those grounds.

Delingpole: Presidential Election Wasn’t ‘Rigged’; It Was ‘Fortified’, Says Time Magazine

JAMES DELINGPOLE5 Feb 20211,049

Time has published an explainer piece offering a fascinating insight into how the presidential election was won. It’s titled “The Secret History of the Shadow Campaign that Saved the 2020 Election.”

The fascinating part is what it tells us about the brazenness of the left in general and the corrupt, mendacious MSM in particular: they are now heavy-hinting that they cheated but want you to know that it’s all OK because they were doing it to not to destroy democracy but to preserve and enhance it.

Here’s the key paragraph:
That’s why the participants want the secret history of the 2020 election told, even though it sounds like a paranoid fever dream–a well-funded cabal of powerful people, ranging across industries and ideologies, working together behind the scenes to influence perceptions, change rules and laws, steer media coverage and control the flow of information. They were not rigging the election; they were fortifying it. And they believe the public needs to understand the system’s fragility in order to ensure that democracy in America endures.
Do you see what they just did there?

The Democrats (and their sympathisers) didn’t rig the election. They just fortified it by taking care to ensure the right guy won rather than the wrong guy won, regardless of what those pesky voters might misguidedly have wanted.

Could this have anything to do, you wonder, with President Trump’s upcoming impeachment trial?

My suspicion that Time’s piece is both pre-emptive strike and damage limitation exercise. It anticipates the possibility that Trump will provide evidence in support of his claim that the election was “stolen.”

This evidence will be much harder to brush under the carpet in the Senate.
I’m reminded here of an old article from the Times (of London), which described the process whereby political projects are advanced by stealth.
It is at first denied that any radical new plan exists; it is then conceded that it exists but ministers swear blind that it is not even on the political agenda; it is then noted that it might well be on the agenda but is not a serious proposition; it is later conceded that it is a serious proposition but that it will never be implemented; after that it is acknowledge that it will be implemented but in such a diluted form that it will make no difference to the lives of ordinary people; at some point it is finally recognised that it has made such a difference, but it was always known that it would and voters were told so from the outset.
This is where we are headed now with the”‘stolen” election. Columnists who blithely assured us that the election was above board may now begin to finesse their position.

“OK, so maybe it was rigged,” they will start to concede. ‘But isn’t that always the case with elections? And anyway it’s a done deal now.”

Sorry, my bad — that use of the word “rigged” was a complete slip of the tongue.

What I meant to say is that the presidential election was “fortified.” And what’s not to like about that, eh?

Explosive TIME Magazine Investigation: “Well-Funded Cabal” Worked To Change Election Laws, Control Flow Of Information

BY RUSTY WEISS
FEBRUARY 5, 2021 AT 2:01PM

TIME Magazine has published an extraordinary investigative piece titled, “The Secret History of the Shadow Campaign That Saved the 2020 Election,” detailing how an extensive network of powerful and wealthy people ran a “shadow” campaign in order to save the election.

The column, authored by Molly Ball, lays out a scenario involving “a well-funded cabal of powerful people” who worked in concert to change election laws and control the dissemination of information before and after the election.

And now they seemingly want credit for their actions.

Those entities “want the secret history of the 2020 election told, even though it sounds like a paranoid fever dream,” the column reads.

“A well-funded cabal of powerful people, ranging across industries and ideologies, working together behind the scenes to influence perceptions, change rules and laws, steer media coverage, and control the flow of information.”

The piece notes that former President Donald Trump had observed a shift in behavior in corporate America even as he sought to challenge the results of the 2020 election.

“It was all very, very strange,” TIME quotes Trump as saying in early December. “Within days after the election, we witnessed an orchestrated effort to anoint the winner, even while many key states were still being counted.”

The magazine observes: “In a way, Trump was right.”

“There was a conspiracy unfolding behind the scenes, one that both curtailed the protests and coordinated the resistance from CEOs,” Ball writes, referencing a desire to keep the peace over the election after many months marred by racial tension and riots.

“Both surprises were the result of an informal alliance between left-wing activists and business titans.”

TIME Pulls Back The Curtain On Forces Shaping 2020 Election

The piece notes at several points throughout that the shadowy ‘cabal’ was working to protect the integrity of the 2020 election, not sway the results, or prevent Trump from winning.

“The handshake between business and labor was just one component of a vast, cross-partisan campaign to protect the election,” they write, referring to it as “an extraordinary shadow effort dedicated not to winning the vote but to ensuring it would be free and fair, credible and uncorrupted.”

Certainly, however, one has to be alarmed at the notion that “well-funded” individuals were working behind the scenes to “steer media coverage, and control the flow of information.”

A study conducted by the Media Research Center in November suggests slanted media coverage may have tilted the election in favor of President Joe Biden.

1612564766114.png

The column references a little-known effort by “a veteran progressive operative” to combat “disinformation” on social media platforms.

“In November 2019, Mark Zuckerberg invited nine civil rights leaders to dinner at his home, where they warned him about the danger of the election-related falsehoods that were already spreading unchecked,” they write.

Vanita Gupta, nominated for Associate Attorney General by President Biden, attended the Zuckerberg dinner and also met with Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey.

Gupta conveyed the pressure those in attendance placed on the Big Tech titan.

“It took pushing, urging, conversations, brainstorming, all of that to get to a place where we ended up with more rigorous rules and enforcement,” she said.

2:19 min

Facebook and Twitter ended up playing large roles in the election.

Twitter stepped up to the plate by censoring and removing posts about a New York Post article involving emails found on Hunter Biden’s (President Biden’s son) laptop which appeared to discuss shady business dealings with foreign entities using his father’s influence as Vice President at the time.

Dorsey had made a calculated and deliberate move to censor a story detrimental to one presidential candidate, and later admitted was wrong to do so.
That admission came in the form of testimony before the Senate … after the election.

View: https://youtu.be/tWayExRuaYk
3:50 min

Also after the election, Facebook and Twitter would both ban Donald Trump, still the sitting President of the United States of America, when he attempted to discuss concerns about alleged but unproven election fraud.

A Very Broad Effort That Included Changing Voting Laws

The TIME Magazine article doesn’t focus exclusively on the effort by this ‘cabal’ to control information leading up to, and even after, the 2020 election.

The network’s influence extended far beyond the control of information. There was a concerted and broad sweeping effort that involved many entities working in tandem.

“Their work touched every aspect of the election,” TIME writes, ticking off a list of examples.
  • “They got states to change voting systems and laws and helped secure hundreds of millions in public and private funding.”
  • “They fended off voter-suppression lawsuits, recruited armies of poll workers and got millions of people to vote by mail for the first time.”
  • “They successfully pressured social media companies to take a harder line against disinformation and used data-driven strategies to fight viral smears.”
  • “They executed national public-awareness campaigns that helped Americans understand how the vote count would unfold over days or weeks, preventing Trump’s conspiracy theories and false claims of victory from getting more traction.”
And following Election Day, Ball claims “they monitored every pressure point to ensure that Trump could not overturn the result.”

TIME suggests all of this extraordinary effort was meant to shore up and help legitimize the election in the eyes of American voters.

“The scenario the shadow campaigners were desperate to stop was not a Trump victory,” they assure. Rather, the scenario they worked to avoid “was an election so calamitous that no result could be discerned at all, a failure of the central act of democratic self-governance that has been a hallmark of America since its founding.”

This stunning TIME report is eye-opening. And the level of coordination, money, and influence involved will come as a shock to millions of Americans.

The news magazine suggests that the responsible parties wanted to pull back the curtain and reveal what they did. The report appears to do just that.

Perhaps you should take a long, hard look at their full report here.

Exclusive: U.S. mulls using law designed to prosecute Mafia against Capitol rioters
By Mark Hosenball, Sarah N. Lynch

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The U.S. Justice Department is considering whether to charge members of far-right groups involved in the deadly Jan. 6 storming of the Capitol under a federal law usually used against organized crime, according to two law enforcement sources.
1612565678226.png

The Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act, known as RICO, enables prosecutors to combat certain ongoing racketeering crimes such as murder, kidnapping, bribery and money laundering. The 1970 statute provides for hefty criminal penalties including up to 20 years in prison and seizure of assets obtained illegally through a criminal enterprise.

The sources, a current law enforcement official and a former official who recently left the federal government, said using the RICO statute to charge people involved in the Capitol violence is being debated within the Justice Department, with no final decision made. The sources spoke on condition of anonymity.

The siege by supporters of former President Donald Trump left five dead including a police officer. It is not yet clear if cases arising from it meet “statutory elements” necessary for a RICO charge, the former federal official said.

“This is something that is being mulled over in the halls of DOJ,” the official added, using the department’s initials.

President Joe Biden’s administration has warned that domestic extremism is a growing threat following the Capitol rampage, a sharp departure from the way Trump regarded extremist groups such as the Proud Boys and Oath Keepers. In a September pre-election debate with Biden, Trump told the Proud Boys to “stand back and stand by.”

Justice Department spokeswoman Kristina Mastropasqua declined to comment about the potential use of the RICO statute beyond pointing to prior statements by the senior federal prosecutor for the District of Columbia, Michael Sherwin, that he would charge people based on what the evidence showed.

Sherwin has said a wide range of criminal charges are being contemplated, including trespassing, assault and seditious conspiracy.

The RICO law was crafted to help prosecutors convict top Mafia leaders who ordered others to commit crimes. RICO cases are complex, often take years to develop, and require approval from Justice Department leadership.

“RICO was designed to address the Godfather - the person who doesn’t get their hands bloody,” said Jeffrey Grell, an attorney who specializes in RICO law. “You would really only use RICO to go after the kingpins or the leaders.”

Prosecutors have used it against other violent groups, such as one led by Omar Abdel Rahman, known as the “Blind Sheikh,” who was convicted of plotting to bomb the United Nations and George Washington Bridge in New York.

More than 170 people have been charged in connection with the Capitol attack that interrupted the formal congressional certification of Biden’s election victory over Trump and sent lawmakers into hiding for their own safety.

Democratic Senator Richard Durbin, tapped to become chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, is advocating possible RICO charges. A Durbin spokesperson said, “There are multiple statutes currently available for federal prosecutors to use to hold the perpetrators behind the Jan. 6 attack accountable, including RICO, and prosecutors should appropriately evaluate potential charges.”

‘RACKETEERING ACTIVITY’

Obstructing an official government proceeding, the charge some Oath Keepers and Proud Boy members are currently facing, is considered a “racketeering activity.”

Prosecutors in a RICO case would need to show that the far-right groups qualify as a “criminal enterprise” and that members of the enterprise engaged in a pattern of two or more related crimes beyond the Capitol riots.

That could mean looking at whether these groups engaged in similar actions at other events, such as the violent 2017 “Unite the Right” rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, or other violent activities such as storming state capitols.

“Whatever theory they’re pursuing requires looking at the group and kind of zooming out so they can capture a pattern of racketeering activity more than just what happened on that day,” said Kamal Ghali, an Atlanta attorney and former federal prosecutor.

In a RICO case, prosecutors must show a pattern of related racketeering crimes and a threat of continuing criminal conduct.

A Washington grand jury last month indicted three Oath Keepers members on charges that they conspired to forcibly storm the Capitol. Two Proud Boys members were indicted on charges they conspired with others to obstruct law enforcement from protecting the Capitol.

In a sworn statement, an FBI agent said Thomas Caldwell, a defendant in the Oath Keepers indictment, sent messages after the attack urging others to keep fighting.

“We need to do this at the local level,” Caldwell was quoted by the FBI as saying. “Lets storm the capitol in Ohio. Tell me when!”

Federal prosecutors in Ohio convinced a judge to detain Caldwell’s co-defendant Donovan Crowl by citing recent writings by the group’s leader Elmer Stewart Rhodes. After the riots, Rhodes urged members to begin organizing in “friendly red” counties - jurisdictions that lean Republican - saying the Biden administration represents an “illegitimate regime.”

The three Oath Keepers have not yet entered pleas, though Caldwell has previously said in court that “every single charge is false.” Rhodes did not respond to requests for comment.

TIME Magazine Claims An Elite Cabal Conspired To Stop Trump From Winning, Manipulating Laws And News
•Feb 5, 2021

TIME Magazine Claims An Elite Cabal Conspired To Stop Trump From Winning, Manipulating Laws And News. They celebrate the news as though defenders of Democracy saved the day. They call it the Shadow Campaign that "saved" the 2020 election. Democrat elites, Political insiders, Corporate Media, and Big Tech moguls are said to have been involved in a "cabal" in order to protect the "proper outcome" of the election. While they claim they did not explicitly want to stop Trump from winning, because of course they can't say that, they claim they were fighting against Trump's disinformation What is revealing is how Democrat lawyer Marc Elias is now claiming votes were not read by voting machines properly in a much similar way that Trump and his allies claimed, though not completely the same. The game is rigged by a cabal of powerful elites to ensure the winner of our election was their preferred winner. And that is not my opinion, its the claim by TIME Magazine

FBI raids homes of 2 men who held rally on eve of Capitol attack

By Paul P. Murphy and Marshall Cohen, CNN
Updated 9:29 AM ET, Wed February 3, 2021

Video on website .58 min

Washington (CNN)The FBI recently raided the homes of two men who sponsored an invective-laced rally near the US Capitol a day before the deadly insurrection, the first known search warrants involving people who organized and spoke at rallies preceding the attack.

CNN learned of the raids through an eyewitness account, public records, a lawyer representing one of the rally organizers and an FBI spokeswoman who confirmed details of the searches.

FBI spokeswoman Laura Eimiller confirmed that federal agents executed search warrants last week at two properties in Orange County, California, which public records indicate belong to Russell Taylor and Alan Hostetter. The two men run the American Phoenix Project, which co-sponsored a pro-Donald Trump rally near the Supreme Court on January 5, one day before the attack.

Neither man has been charged with any crimes.

Footage of the rally shows the men spewing militant vitriol: Hostetter told the crowd to prepare for "war tomorrow" against "vipers" in Congress who refused to nullify President Joe Biden's win. Taylor said, "We will not return to our peaceful way of life until this election is made right."

Court documents related to the search warrants are still under seal, but the raids are the first publicly known federal actions against people who organized rallies linked to the Capitol attack. Federal investigators have issued more than 500 subpoenas and search warrants in the probe.

A key question about the fledgling investigation has been how aggressively prosecutors will scrutinize the people who organized and spoke at rallies that preceded the stunning assault.

Search warrants
Taylor and Hostetter are well-documented promoters of conspiracy theories ranging from QAnon and the "deep state" to those related to the Covid-19 pandemic and the 2020 presidential election.

An FBI spokesperson told CNN the search was conducted at the property Taylor owns at 6 a.m. Wednesday. CNN obtained photos and videos of FBI agents at his house hours later.

Spokespeople for the FBI and the Justice Department declined to comment further about the raids or what investigators were searching for, noting that the case files are still sealed.

A lawyer for Taylor, Dyke Huish, told CNN that the agents were "just gathering information on people that were at or near the Capitol building on the day in question," referring to January 6. Huish said Taylor "cooperated with investigators" and the search was finished "without incident." Eimiller, the FBI spokeswoman, said "no arrests were made" during the searches.

Taylor acknowledged the raid on his Orange County home in a Telegram post on Friday. Using a pseudonym, Taylor urged his followers to "hold the line," adding, "I am working with a lawyer and per his recommendation he said to keep on the down low for a bit to stay off any radars."

Hostetter didn't respond to multiple requests for comment about the raid or his DC rally.

The founder of the group that co-sponsored the rally, Virginia Women for Trump, told CNN that she hasn't been interviewed by the FBI. An employee at Women for America First, a separate organization that held the rally near the White House with Trump one day later, told CNN that nobody at the organization had been interviewed by the FBI either.

Violent rhetoric
Through their right-wing organization, Taylor and Hostetter secured speaking slots at the rally, and used their speeches to spew violent, battle-ready rhetoric.

Weeks earlier, they reached out to Virginia Women for Trump, which was planning an event at the Supreme Court on January 5, one day before Congress would tally the electoral votes and put the final nail in the coffin of Trump's effort to overturn his loss.

Alice Butler-Short, founder of Virginia Women for Trump, said she primarily organized the rally and invited the speakers, but Taylor and Hostetter helped pay for the logistics and security.

"They kind of found me on Facebook," Butler-Short said in an interview with CNN.

The lineup of speakers also included the far-right conspiracy theorist Ali Alexander, who ran a "Stop the Steal" group, and Trump ally Roger Stone, who supports the Proud Boys extremist group. They pushed the debunked conspiracy theory that the election was stolen from Trump. Though Stone said, "We renounce violence," Hostetter ratcheted things up is his speech.

"We are at war in this country," Hostetter said. "We are at war tomorrow."

He continued, "Our voices tomorrow are going to put the fear of God in the cowards and the traitors, the (Republicans in name only), the communists of the Democrat Party, they need to know we as a people, a hundred million strong, are coming for them If they do the wrong thing."

"I will see you all tomorrow at the frontlines," Hostetter said as he ended the speech. "We are taking our country back."

Taylor expressed support for QAnon in his speech and issued a call-to-arms, saying, "In these streets we will fight, and we will bleed before we allow our freedom to be taken from us." (Huish, his attorney, later claimed he was speaking metaphorically and "has never called for violence.")

The frontlines
Taylor's lawyer tried to distance his client from the mob that invaded the Capitol, saying Taylor was "outside" but "never entered the building nor did he cause any damage to the building."

"His sole purpose in going to Washington DC was to participate in a peaceful and patriotic protest in those things that he believes to be true and correct," Huish told CNN in a statement.

In a since-deleted Instagram video from January 6, Hostetter said he was avoiding the Ellipse because he had "gear" that wouldn't be allowed in. In another video obtained by CNN, Taylor said he was walking towards the Capitol and said he was just informed that rioters had breached barricades near the building. He is wearing a flak jacket with what looks like a knife sticking out.

"We'll see if the Capitol Police are oath keepers of the Constitution," Taylor is heard saying.

Photos from Hostetter's Instagram and photojournalists place him and Taylor just outside the Capitol building during the riot. An AFP photographer snapped an image of Taylor giving police the finger around 4:30 p.m. near the North side of the Capitol, near the entrance to the Senate.

Two other photos show Taylor near a police line on the North side of the Capitol. One photo shows him using his body to push against a police line; the other shows him near a police line with what appears to be a gas mask.

He later wrote on Facebook that he never made it inside.

Opinion
They Stormed the Capitol. Their Apps Tracked Them.
Times Opinion was able to identify individuals from a trove of leaked smartphone location data.

By Charlie Warzel and Stuart A. Thompson
Mr. Warzel and Mr. Thompson are writers in Opinion. They previously reported on smartphone tracking for the series “One Nation, Tracked.”
  • Feb. 5, 2021, 5:00 a.m. ET
In 2019, a source came to us with a digital file containing the precise locations of more than 12 million individual smartphones for several months in 2016 and 2017. The data is supposed to be anonymous, but it isn’t. We found celebrities, Pentagon officials and average Americans.

It became clear that this data — collected by smartphone apps and then fed into a dizzyingly complex digital advertising ecosystem — was a liability to national security, to free assembly and to citizens living mundane lives. It provided an intimate record of people whether they were visiting drug treatment centers, strip clubs, casinos, abortion clinics or places of worship.

Surrendering our privacy to the government would be foolish enough. But what is more insidious is the Faustian bargain made with the marketing industry, which turns every location ping into currency as it is bought and sold in the marketplace of surveillance advertising.

Now, one year later, we’re in a very similar position. But it’s far worse.

A source has provided another data set, this time following the smartphones of thousands of Trump supporters, rioters and passers-by in Washington, D.C., on January 6, as Donald Trump’s political rally turned into a violent insurrection. At least five people died because of the riot at the Capitol. Key to bringing the mob to justice has been the event’s digital detritus: location data, geotagged photos, facial recognition, surveillance cameras and crowdsourcing.

The sacking of the Capitol was a shocking assault on the republic and an unwelcome reminder of the fragility of American democracy. But history reminds us that sudden events — Pearl Harbor, the Soviet Union testing an atomic bomb, the Sept. 11 attacks — have led to an overreach in favor of collective security over individual liberty that we’d later regret. And more generally, the data collected on Jan. 6 is a demonstration of the looming threat to our liberties posed by a surveillance economy that monetizes the movements of the righteous and the wicked alike.

The data we were given showed what some in the tech industry might call a God-view vantage of that dark day. It included about 100,000 location pings for thousands of smartphones, revealing around 130 devices inside the Capitol exactly when Trump supporters were storming the building.

About 40 percent of the phones tracked near the rally stage on the National Mall during the speeches were also found in and around the Capitol during the siege — a clear link between those who’d listened to the president and his allies and then marched on the building.

While there were no names or phone numbers in the data, we were once again able to connect dozens of devices to their owners, tying anonymous locations back to names, home addresses, social networks and phone numbers of people in attendance. In one instance, three members of a single family were tracked in the data.

The source shared this information, in part, because the individual was outraged by the events of Jan. 6. The source wanted answers, accountability, justice. The person was also deeply concerned about the privacy implications of this surreptitious data collection. Not just that it happens, but also that most consumers don’t know it is being collected and it is insecure and vulnerable to law enforcement as well as bad actors — or an online mob — who might use it to inflict harm on innocent people. (The source asked to remain anonymous because the person was not authorized to share the data and could face severe penalties for doing so.)

“What if instead of going to you, I wanted to publish it myself?” the source told us. “What if I were vengeful? There’s nothing preventing me from doing that. It’s totally available. If I had different motives, all it would take is a few clicks, and everyone could see it.”

There is an argument to be made that this data could be properly used by law enforcement through courts, warrants and subpoenas. We used it ourselves as a journalistic tool to bring you this article. But to think that the information will be used against individuals only if they’ve broken the law is naïve; such data is collected and remains vulnerable to use and abuse whether people gather in support of an insurrection or they justly protest police violence, as happened in cities across America last summer.

The data presented here is a bird’s-eye view of an event that posed a clear and grave threat to our democracy. But it tells a second story as well: One of a broken, surreptitious industry in desperate need of regulation, and of a tacit agreement we’ve entered into that threatens our individual privacy. None of this data should ever have been collected.

This is Ronnie Vincent.
We traced a phone inside the Capitol to Mr. Vincent’s home in Kentucky.

Confirming his identity led us to his Facebook page, where we found a few photos of him standing on the steps of the building during the siege. Another photo shows a crowd standing in front of the Capitol, its doors wide open.

Smartphones tracked between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. record the seige on the Capitol.

“Yes we got inside. One girl was shot by the DC cops as she was knocking on the glass. She probably will die. We stopped the voting in the house,” he wrote.

Shortly after he posted the photos, Mr. Vincent, a pest control business owner in Kentucky who goes by the nickname Ole Woodsman, took them down. When we reached him by phone, he insisted he never entered the Capitol.

“There is no way that my phone shows me in there,” he said. Yet it did.

For all its appearance of omniscience, the data can be imprecise. In a situation such as the Capitol riot, exact locations matter. A few feet can be the difference between a participant who committed a serious crime and an onlooker.

While some location data is accurate to within a few feet, other data is not. Location companies can work with data derived from GPS sensors, Bluetooth signals and other sources. The quality depends on the settings of the phone and whether it is connected to Wi-Fi or a cell tower. Issues like population and building density can sometimes play a role in the quality of the data.

Mr. Vincent told us that when he wrote “we got inside,” he meant “we the people got in.”

He added, “I did not go in.”

Can we say definitively Mr. Vincent was inside the Capitol on Jan. 6? No, and that is one of the problems with this type of data.

Ronnie Vincent’s Journey
It was easier to identify Mr. Vincent — and discover the path he took to get to Washington, D.C. — because an email was matched to the phone’s anonymous advertising ID.

While the power and scope of this commercial surveillance come into sharp focus when we look at the specific time of the attack on the Capitol, it’s important to remember that it is recording the movements of millions of Americans all day, all night, all year, wherever they are.

The data set Times Opinion examined shows how Trump supporters traveled from South Carolina, Florida, Ohio and Kentucky to the nation’s capital, with pings tracing neatly along major highways, in the days before the attack. Stops at gas stations, restaurants and motels dot the route like bread crumbs, each offering corroborating details.

In many cases, these trails lead from the Capitol right back to their homes.

Trump Supporters Go to Washington
While protesters may have felt anonymous, their journeys to Washington and back were recorded in meticulous detail by apps on their phones.

In the hands of law enforcement, this data could be evidence. But at every other moment, the location data is reviewed by hedge funds, financial institutions and marketers, in an attempt to learn more about where we shop and how we live.

Unlike the data we reviewed in 2019, this new data included a remarkable piece of information: a unique ID for each user that is tied to a smartphone. This made it even easier to find people, since the supposedly anonymous ID could be matched with other databases containing the same ID, allowing us to add real names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses and other information about smartphone owners in seconds.

The IDs, called mobile advertising identifiers, allow companies to track people across the internet and on apps. They are supposed to be anonymous, and smartphone owners can reset them or disable them entirely. Our findings show the promise of anonymity is a farce. Several companies offer tools to allow anyone with data to match the IDs with other databases.

How “Anonymous” Pings Could Be Identifiable
(See article )

1612568151707.png
The “anonymous” mobile advertising ID can be matched across databases ...
... creating a new deanonymized database

We were quickly able to match more than 2,000 supposedly anonymous devices in the data set with email addresses, birthdays, ethnicities, ages and more.

One location data company, Cuebiq, publishes a list of customers that may receive the ID with precise smartphone locations. Companies listed there include household names like Adobe and Google, alongside a litany of lesser-known upstarts, like Hivestack, Mogean, Pelmorex and Ubimo.

In an emailed statement, Cuebiq said it prohibits attempts to merge location data with personally identifiable information and requires customers to undergo yearly third-party audits.

Smartphone users will never know if they are included in the data or whether their precise movements were sold. There are no laws forcing companies to disclose what the data is used for or for how long. There are no legal requirements to ever delete the data. Even if anyone could figure out where records of their locations were sold, in most states, you can’t request that the data be deleted.

Their movements could be bought and sold to innumerable parties for years. And the threat that those movements could be tied back to their identity will never go away.

If the Jan. 6 rioters didn’t know before, they surely know now the cost of leaving a digital footprint. Tip lines at the Federal Bureau of Investigation have been flooded for weeks in an effort to identify participants, and detectives in Miami and other police departments are using facial recognition software. Amateur investigators on TikTok, Instagram and other platforms have launched their own identification efforts.

Law enforcement has used cellphone footage from the siege to identify participants. As of February 4, there were 181 federal cases pending against individuals involved in the Capitol Hill siege, according to an analysis by George Washington University’s program on extremism. Affidavits show that federal investigators were easily able to cross-reference footage with public social media posts.

A leak of data from the social media platform Parler also helped investigators and journalists place rioters in the building, using posts that were geotagged with GPS location data. For some, like 38-year-old Oath Keepers member Jessica Watkins, there was no need for precise location data. Her words tell the story: “Yeah. We stormed the Capitol today. Teargassed, the whole, 9. Pushed our way into the Rotunda. Made it into the Senate even,” she wrote on Parler.

Which is to say that law enforcement may not need this data. But as a recent Wall Street Journal report shows, military agencies use these data sets — without a warrant, no less. How? They purchase it. Because we have seen what’s in the data, that revelation is deeply troubling.

While some Americans might cheer the use of location databases to identify Trump supporters who converged on the Capitol, the use of commercial databases has worrying implications for civil liberties. The American criminal justice system is set up for a judge or jury to determine whether, in fact, Ronnie Vincent broke any laws on Jan. 6. But the data leads us directly to him, and in the hands of law enforcement officials — or rogue employees of the company that collected the data — it could narrow their search for participants and offer clues about their activity.
To focus attention only on those people present at the deadly sacking of the Capitol is to lose sight of the larger context of the campaign of incitement and lies from Mr. Trump, right-wing media and members of Congress that set the stage for it. Just as focusing on the movements of Mr. Vincent’s cellphone is to lose sight of the larger surveillance ecosystem that he — and all of us — are trapped in.

The location-tracking industry exists because those in power allow it to exist.

Plenty of Americans remain oblivious to this collection through no fault of their own. But many others understand what’s happening and allow it anyway. They feel powerless to stop it or were simply seduced by the conveniences afforded in the trade-off. The dark truth is that, despite genuine concern from those paying attention, there’s little appetite to meaningfully dismantle this advertising infrastructure that undergirds unchecked corporate data collection.

This collection will only grow more sophisticated. This new data set offers proof that not only is there more interest in location data than before, but it is also easier to deanonymize. It gets easier by the day. As the data from Jan. 6 eerily demonstrates, it does not discriminate. It harvests from the phones of MAGA rioters, police officers, lawmakers and passers-by. There is no evidence, from the past or current day, that the power this data collection offers will be used only to good ends. There is no evidence that if we allow it to continue to happen, the country will be safer or fairer.

In our previous investigation, we wrote that Americans deserve the freedom to choose a life without surveillance and the government regulation that would make that possible. While we continue to believe the sentiment, we fear it may soon be obsolete or irrelevant. We deserve that freedom, but the window to achieve it narrows a little more each day. If we don’t act now, with great urgency, it may very well close for good.

Breaking: US Supreme Court Schedules Pennsylvania Election Case, Sidney Powell’s Michigan Case and Lin Wood’s Georgia Case for Feb 19 Conference

The Unites States Supreme Court will consider the Pennsylvania election case, Sidney Powell’s Michigan case and Lin Wood’s Georgia case for February 19, 2021.

Advertisement - story continues below

The Washington Examiner reported:
The Supreme Court on Friday listed several high-profile election lawsuits for consideration at its mid-February conference.
The cases include challenges to the 2020 election from Trump-aligned lawyers Lin Wood and Sidney Powell, as well as Republican Rep. Mike Kelly’s Pennsylvania lawsuit. Nearly every lawsuit takes issue with the expanded use of mail-in ballots by many states.

The decision came after the court declined to fast-track all election-related litigation in early January.

In nearly every plea for expedition, lawyers backing former President Donald Trump told the court that if the cases were not heard before President Biden’s inauguration, their success would be unlikely.
But after the court pushed them off, many lawyers said that the challenges were still important and could have long-term implications for election fairness. Trump lawyer John Eastman told the Washington Examiner that even with Trump out of office, it was important to settle the issues raised by expanded mail-in voting.

Grant Stinchfield Plays The Gateway Pundit’s Shocking Footage from the TCF Center on Newsmax TV (VIDEO)

By Jim Hoft

On Friday TIME Magazine published a shocking expose admitting in a long and detailed screed by leftist Molly Ball that a secret cabal of wealthy and politically connected elites joined together to rig the election against Trump.

The alliance of Trump-haters was even behind the illegal moves by far-left swing state officials to change voter laws without the consent of the state legislatures.
TIME Magazine cheered this.

This TIME confession omitted several facts from the 2020 election including the documented acts of fraud.

On Friday night Grant Stinchfield discussed this TIME election confession on Newsmax TV. Grant also played the shocking video of fraud released by The Gateway Pundit on Friday morning.
Grant Stinchfield: The Trump team collected hundreds of affidavits by election workers that claimed they witnessed fraud there. And TIME made no mention of those affidavits either. They made no mention of this released today by The Gateway Pundit. It’s a video obtained by The Gateway Pundit that it says through a freedom of information request. The TCF Center directly is where the request went to and a white van drives up, driving up at 3:30 in the morning while votes are still being counted inside. Workers can be seen unloading upwards of 50 boxes. What’s inside these boxes? We don’t know! There may be a reason for this van to mysteriously appear. But there may not be. My complaint has always been where is law enforcement to investigate?

The Board of Supervisors of Maricopa County May Soon Face Arrest as Arizona Senate Fast Tracks Their Contempt Vote

By Joe Hoft
Published February 6, 2021 at 7:57am
Arizona-Maricopa-Co-Board-of-Supervisors.jpg

The Board of Supervisors in Maricopa County in Arizona are in a lot of trouble.

They can allow the Arizona Senate to review the voting machines and 2.1 million ballots that have been requested by the Senate, but if there is a material amount of fraud identified in this review, they could go to jail.

On the other hand, the Board of Supervisors can continue to stall and prevent any expert independent from their operations to review the machines and ballots, but this may put them all in jail even sooner. They are really in a serious predicament.

After choosing option number two for the past few months, the Arizona Senate has had enough. According to former Head of the New York City Police Department, the Senate is done waiting:

1612635906230.png

Kerik refers to an article today at the Western Journal:
On Friday, state Senate President Karen Fann said the Senate would hire its own firm to audit the results of the November election, saying that the audit Maricopa County agreed to do was insufficient, according to the Arizona Republic.
“[T]he scope of the audit must be broader than the one proposed by the County’s vendors,” Fann said in a statement.

“Our firm will perform everything we have required in the subpoenas.
We must bring back confidence that the election results reported are how votes were legally cast. The Senate’s forensic audit will bring accuracy and detail to the process, and with that restore integrity to the election process,” she said.

The duel over the election escalated Thursday when the Republican-controlled state Senate moved to take swift legislative action against the county to find it in contempt, according to KSAZ-TV.
By a 16-13 party-line vote, the Senate waived the usual process of full debates and committee hearings so that a vote could take place as soon as Monday on a proposal to take “all legal action” to enforce the subpoenas.
As we’ve reported over the past few months, the Board of Supervisors has stalled and attempted other efforts to prevent a legitimate audit of the results of the 2020 election. They even brought in two audit firms they claimed were certified but we determined that at the time that neither firm was certified:

We believe if the Senate hires qualified firms that can review the machines and the ballots in a comprehensive and accurate review, all Americans will be satisfied with the results.

AP Poll: 65% Of Republicans Say Biden Was Not Legitimately Elected

By ProTrumpNews Staff
Published February 6, 2021 at 8:25am
website-Biden-inaug.jpg

You’re not alone – Lots of Republican voters don’t buy into the results of the fraudulent election.

According to a new poll, 65% of Republicans say that Joe Biden was not legitimately elected.

From The Washington Times:
About two-thirds of Republicans say Joe Biden was not legitimately elected president, according to a new poll conducted barely two weeks after he was inaugurated.
The poll from The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research shows 33% of Republicans say Biden was legitimately elected as the 46th president of the United States, while 65% say he was not. Overall, roughly two-thirds of Americans say Biden was legitimately elected; nearly all Democrats say so.
Now, that the White House has been stolen, even the Left is admitting that the elites worked together to steal the election from Trump.

Molly Ball at TIME Magazine reported:
There was a conspiracy unfolding behind the scenes, one that both curtailed the protests and coordinated the resistance from CEOs. Both surprises were the result of an informal alliance between left-wing activists and business titans. The pact was formalized in a terse, little-noticed joint statement of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and AFL-CIO published on Election Day. Both sides would come to see it as a sort of implicit bargain–inspired by the summer’s massive, sometimes destructive racial-justice protests–in which the forces of labor came together with the forces of capital to keep the peace and oppose Trump’s assault on democracy.

“The FBI Never Did Anything Other Than to Impede Investigations into Election Fraud” – Colonel Phil Waldron on the FBI’s Actions During the 2020 Election

By Joe Hoft
Published February 6, 2021 at 8:48am
fbi-spy-600x363.jpg

The FBI is now a frightening entity that will harass and frame any American.

If the FBI did its job it would have been all over the truckloads of suspicious activity uncovered in the 2020 election. Instead the FBI harassed the whistleblowers.

Colonel Phil Waldron (at the 19:45 mark in the video below):

I believe from what I’ve seen and the witnesses that I talked to, that this is a coup that definitely involved elements inside our own country, inside our own federal government – definitely part of a coup that was aided and abetted by a foreign threat nation state, a peer enemy nation state, China.”

Then when asked by Lindell if this could have happened without domestic help or traitors within the US, Waldron responded:

We have the name, email and phone number of a senior DOJ official from a US Attorney that said that this individual was shutting down any DOJ or FBI investigation into any election, any election related investigation and trying to shut down Judicial cases, court cases.
So from inside our own DOJ people were shutting down active investigations. You wonder why Mr. Barr didn’t find or see any evidence of widespread election fraud, is because the FBI never did anything other than to impede investigations into election fraud.

The FBI went to question truck drivers who delivered ballots and created affidavits. They started harassing the Americans, patriotic Americans, who were whistleblowers and prosecuting them.”
1:59:58 min Rumble video on website

We reported on the FBI gang’s effort to harass and defame the innocent (real) whistleblower who gave up much to go public and report on the truck load of ballots he moved from New York to Pennsylvania. These ballots were likely all for Joe Biden and illegal. But we will never know because the FBI did not investigate the crime, they harassed the whistleblower.

(BTW – Lou Dobbs was exceptional in his interaction with this man who was abused by the FBI.)

We claimed in December that our FBI is a joke. It needs to be fixed now and every one of the crooks within the FBI need to be fired and prosecuted for their misdeeds.

A Morning Consult/Politico survey taken in January found that Trump would be the GOP front runner in 2024:

From Morning Consult:
Forty-two percent of GOP voters said in a new Morning Consult/Politico survey that they would vote for Trump if the 2024 Republican presidential primary were held today, down 12 percentage points from a Nov. 21-23 poll. The latest poll was conducted Jan. 8-11 among 595 Republican voters, with a 4-point margin of error.

Dominion Lawyer Says They ‘Warned’ OAN Not to Air Mike Lindell Doc

By Cassandra Fairbanks
Published February 6, 2021 at 10:05am
1-792.jpg

The lead attorney representing Dominion Voting Systems has come out swinging against OAN for airing Mike Lindell’s two-hour election fraud special — and claims that they “warned” the network not to air it.

Lindell’s film titled “Absolute Proof,” aired on the network in the form of a paid advertisement, with a disclaimer that it was not an OAN report.

The disclaimer said that Lindell “purchased the airtime for the broadcast of this program” and it “is not the product of OAN’s reporting.”

Dominion’s lead attorney Thomas Clare responded to the film on Friday, telling Law & Crime that the network is still a lawsuit target despite the disclaimer.

“Nice try by OAN, but it definitely does not relieve them of liability,” Clare told Law & Crime. “To the contrary, we warned them specifically and in writing that they would be broadcasting false and defamatory statements of fact if they broadcast the program, and they made the affirmative decision to disregarded that warning and broadcast it anyway.”

Clare pointed out that “other outlets have refused to air it,” implying that they contacted them.

“Other outlets have refused to host it,” Clare said. “Textbook actual malice.”
Charles Herring, the president of OAN, seemed unbothered and said that the program is “paid long-form ad air time.”

“We sold the air time at fair market value. The paid content is clearly differentiated from OAN content. OAN did not assist with the production,” Herring told Law & Crime.

Absolute Proof is currently available to watch on Lindell’s personal website.

HUGE! Top Democrat Elections Attorney Marc Elias Agrees With Republicans that Voting Machines Are Unreliable and Invalid

By Jim Hoft
Published February 6, 2021 at 11:00am
IMG_1165-600x339.jpg

Former Hillary Clinton Attorney Marc Elias spearheaded the Democrat Party’s efforts in the 2020 election to force the courts to change election rules and procedures in key battleground states.

As Breitbart reported, in 2016, Elias was also responsible for funneling money from Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign and the Democratic National Committee (DNC) to the Fusion GPS opposition research firm, which produced the fraudulent “Russia dossier.”

Elias pushed Democrat policies that ensured the 2020 election would be less dependable and less secure. Elias of Perkins Coie was also behind an agreement in Georgia, one filed by Stacey Abrams’ nonprofit, the “New Georgia Project,” (NGP) filed on May 8, 2020. (See full agreement here or here.) This agreement was also signed by the controversial and crooked GOP Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger.

Marc Elias worked with Stacey Abrams in Georgia to ensure Democrats win the election using absentee ballots.

For weeks now pro-Trump Republicans have argued that faulty voting machines used in the 2020 election are faulty and unreliable at best. There is plenty of proof to back this up.

Earlier this week top Democrat elections attorney Marc Elias agreed.
Advertisement - story continues below

Former Rep. Claudia Tenney was declared the winner in New York’s 22nd congressional district this week. Tenney defeated far-left Rep. Anthony Brindisi by 125 votes.

In a legal filing on behalf of Brindisi, Marc Elias challenged the faulty voting machines for the Democrat lawmaker’s loss.

Elias wrote:
In this case, there is reason to believe that voting tabulation machines misread hundreds if not thousands of valid votes as undervotes, (supra at 4), and that these tabulation machine errors disproportionately affected Brindisi, (id.). In addition, Oswego County admitted in a sworn statement to this Court that its tabulation machines were not tested and calibrated in the days leading up to the November 3, 2020 General Election as required by state law and necessary to ensure that the counts generated by tabulation machines are accurate.
This was a stunning admission by the top Democrat attorney.

Republicans and Trump’s attorneys have been arguing the same thing for weeks now.

Finally, there is something both parties can agree on!

The voting machines and tabulators are flawed and faulty.

This should not be allowed to happen again.
Voting machines must go!

Confirmed: Obama’s ‘Ethics Czar’ Led the ‘Color Revolution’ Behind the 2020 US Election and Then Bragged About It

We warned on November 2, 2020, the day before the 2020 Election, that the nightmare scenario created by the Democrats starring Sleepy Joe Biden was about to begin.

We reported on the ‘Color Revolution’ earlier in the 2020 Presidential campaign – In September Tucker Carlson discussed the ‘color revolution’ and Norm Eisen, ironically Obama’s Ethics Czar, was reportedly behind the resistance and the efforts to remove President Trump from office. Like other Democrat lies, the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) didn’t make health care more affordable and Norm Eisen was not someone who cared about ethics.

Below is a video from Tucker Carlson’s show regarding this topic – at the time we didn’t know much about Norm Eisen:

Under Eisen the plan was hatched and the coup to steal the election from President Trump began.

The elites, liberal media, the Justice Department, the courts, and Trump-haters were all involved. Facebook, Google and Twitter warned us when they announced that starting on Election day they would not report the winner of the election and would block people who tried to do it. This led to their actions later to purge President Trump and his supporters from their site:

A day before the election, the Biden Campaign announced under no circumstances would they admit defeat on election day:

1612637578544.png
The Democrats were involved in a ‘color revolution’ the entire Trump Presidency, and Norm Eisen, Obama’s ‘Ethics Czar’, was reportedly behind it.

The coup moved forward. In spite of President Trump winning 79 million votes to Biden’s 68 million per some estimates, the election was stolen by the Democrats, China, the DOJ, FBI, the courts, Big Tech, Big Media and many in the Republican Party.

Then on January 6th, the President spoke and listed an inventory of the rampant fraud but he had no time to finish. His Vice President betrayed him and started the spectacle in the Capitol to validate the fraudulent election. Next came the march on the Capitol where bad actors joined in with Trump supporters and began damaging the capital and took portraits of themselves being there.

The entire spectacle from before Trump’s inauguration in 2016 to today, was led by Norm Eisen. Yesterday a report came out from Time where Eisen bragged about his efforts:

The Time report shared:
The scenario the shadow campaigners were desperate to stop was not a Trump victory. It was an election so calamitous that no result could be discerned at all, a failure of the central act of democratic self-governance that has been a hallmark of America since its founding.
“The untold story of the election is the thousands of people of both parties who accomplished the triumph of American democracy at its very foundation,” says Norm Eisen, a prominent lawyer and former Obama Administration official who recruited Republicans and Democrats to the board of the Voter Protection Program.
Norm-Eisen-and-Obama.jpeg

Obama never surrendered the White House. He led the coup attempts against the Trump Administration which was busy destroying Obama’s America killing policies. Many believe Obama is running the White House now. Biden certainly isn’t and Harris doesn’t have the ability to either.

But Obama wasn’t alone he needed a man of ‘ethics’ to lead his coups and ‘color revolution’ in the United States. Ethics to Obama and Eisen means do anything to win.

IGNORED BY THE MEDIA ELITES AND FBI: List of 20 Individuals at the Capitol on January 6th – All Appear to be Connected to Antifa or Far Left Groups

By Joe Hoft
Published February 6, 2021 at 7:35am
antifa-dc-1-1.jpg

For weeks the FBI, Democrats, and the fake news media have insisted there was no Antifa or far-left activist infiltration of the January 6th protests where activists stormed the US Capitol.

We already know this is false. The individuals who entered the US Capitol and caused damage on January 6th were not all Trump supporters.

Known members of Antifa were inside the Capitol and there was even an Antifa event called for that day at 11 AM nearby at the Washington Monument organized by John Sullivan that was closer to the US Capitol than the Ellipse where President Trump spoke to half a million supporters.

We also have presented footage of individuals who appear to be Antifa handing out weapons at the Capitol.

Recently The Gateway Pundit put together a list of 20 individuals who were at the Capitol on January 6th. We are asking law enforcement and internet sleuths to help us identify these individuals who do not appear to be Trump supporters. Some appear to be Antifa and others are known to be members of Antifa.

We looked at hours of video footage and created a list of some of the most violent individuals at the Capitol and others inciting violence and partaking in activities that Antifa is known for. Many of these individuals appear to be related to Antifa and some have already been identified:

Persons of Interest Numbers 1 and 2
2 Individuals – 1 Adult Male (John Sullivan) & 1 Adult Female (Jade Sacker)
Approximately 20 Minutes Before Ashli Babbitt’s Murder – Inside Capitol Building

Inciting a Riot / Impersonating MAGA – John Sullivan arranged an Antifa event at the Capitol on January 6th and was there at the Capitol building to film the massive crowd of people. He was wearing a MAGA hat and mingling with the Trump supporters as one of them. He was accompanied by Jade Sacker who has connections to NPR and CNN who was also filming. When they breached the capitol building, John can be heard saying things like “We need to burn this B*&tch down!” and corralling people to go further into the building. When John and Jade were standing in the Rotunda, Jade exclaims “You were right, we did it!”, and John replied “I was trying to tell you… I couldn’t say much. You just have to watch my chat. Is this not going to be the best film you ever made in your life?” Clearly illustrating that they knew of and were part of a plan to breach the Capitol building.

John was also in the direct vicinity of the murder of Ashli Babbitt, and he was actively trying to convince the law enforcement officers to stand down and allow them through the closed doors. This ultimately ended with Ashli Babbitt being shot and killed by Capitol police from the other side of the closed door. Because Sullivan was behind bringing in Antifa to the event he is likely responsible for the most violence inside the Capitol and a possible accomplice to the death of Ashli Babbitt.

This list of individuals appear to be coordinated. They were attempting to incite the crowd. They also were attempting to discredit Trump supporters at the Capital by wearing Trump gear. Some if not all were involved in violent activities. They all appear to be connected to Antifa. Some are known to be connected to Antifa.

This is our initial list of agitators and individuals who appear to be related to Antifa who were at the Capitol on January 6th. We ask law enforcement to identify and investigate these individuals who appear to be committing crimes and were involved in instigating a riot on that day.

‘Inconsistent, Conflicting’ And Ignored Threat Assessments Ahead Of Jan 6 Capitol Attack.
A New York Times report has let the cat out of the bag: that law enforcement either knew and did nothing about the potential for violence on January 6th, or issued conflicting and inconsistent threat assessments ahead of the events at the U.S. Capitol.

The news will raise questions as to why authorities allowed a predominantly peaceful Trump speech and rally in Washington, D.C. to be infiltrated and overtaken by forces who had planned for violence in advance.

Questions will also be asked about why authorities immediately claimed President Donald Trump had “incited” the riot with his speech at the Ellipse outside the White House when we now know much of the violent behavior was pre-meditated.

The New York Times reported on Friday afternoon:

On Jan. 4, the intelligence division of the U.S. Capitol Police issued a report listing all the groups known to be descending on the city… The documents show how the police and federal law enforcement agencies produced inconsistent and sometimes conflicting assessments of the threat from American citizens marching on the Capitol.

The article called intelligence “muddled,” saying almost every code word for “institutional failures” without using the term itself.

Biden donor and new Capitol Hill Police Chief Yogananda Pittman admitted last week: “We knew that there was a strong potential for violence and that Congress was the target… but we did not do enough.”

And the New York Times also makes clear of another FBI failure on January 6th, making this the bureau’s more recent in a long, recent history of intelligence and operational flubs.

“The FBI was aware of violent online posts before the rally, with the bureau’s field office in Norfolk, Virginia, issuing a report that flagged one anonymous thread that warned of a looming war at the Capitol.”

They also make clear in the report that the groups at fault are entities that Donald Trump has – a number of times – denounced:

Still, the mob that stormed the Capitol was filled with members of groups that the FBI had identified as domestic terrorism threats, like militias, white supremacists and adherents of the QAnon conspiracy.

President Trump is on the record condemning white supremacy, and said in August last year: “I don’t know much about [QAnon].”

The news will raise further questions about why intelligence and law enforcement agencies – and the political leaders they respond to – did nothing in advance of the events.

You can read the full New York Times report here.

On TB every waking moment

TIME Mag: “Trump Was Right. There Was A Conspiracy… Well-Funded Cabal, Powerful People Changing Laws, Steering Media & Controlling Information.”
Time Magazine has published intricate details of what they deem “a conspiracy unfolding behind the scenes, one that both curtailed the protests and coordinated the resistance from CEOs. Both surprises were the result of an informal alliance between left-wing activists and business titans.”
The article even confirms both The National Pulse’s reporting on former Obama lawyer Ian Bassin, as well as Revolver.news’s assertion of the involvement of Norm Eisen in what amounted to a major admission of a globalist set up to leverage the coronavirus, mail-in voting, and corporate interest to oust President Trump from office..

In a 6500-word article, author Molly Ball lays out how it all happened:

The handshake between business and labor was just one component of a vast, cross-partisan campaign to protect the election–an extraordinary shadow effort… Their work touched every aspect of the election. They got states to change voting systems and laws and helped secure hundreds of millions in public and private funding.

Time Magazine is scarcely a right-wing website, and the article goes to lengths to make excuses on behalf of the “shadow” campaign, they claim: “The scenario the shadow campaigners were desperate to stop was not a Trump victory. It was an election so calamitous that no result could be discerned at all…”

But the piece concedes “much of this activity took place on the left.”

Time alleges campaigners “successfully pressured social media companies to take a harder line against disinformation and used data-driven strategies to fight viral smears.”

By the eighth paragraph, Ball quotes Norm Eisen, who in early September 2020 the Revolver.news website described as the “Legal hatchet man and central operative in the “color revolution” against President Trump.”

By the eleventh, they note the efforts of Ian Bassin, who The National Pulse exclusively reported on – also in September.

Ball writes that “participants” like Eisen and Bassin now “want the secret history of the 2020 election told, even though it sounds like a paranoid fever dream–a well-funded cabal of powerful people, ranging across industries and ideologies, working together behind the scenes to influence perceptions, change rules and laws, steer media coverage and control the flow of information.”

Ball identifies Mike Podhorzer, political director at AFL-CIO, as “the architect” of the conspiracy.

Changing American Elections Forever.
“The first task was overhauling America’s balky election infrastructure,” Time states, with particular focus on what Phil Kline and the Amistad Project had brought to the attention of the world with the assistance of The National Pulse in October.

They admit:

An assortment of foundations contributed tens of millions in election-administration funding. The Chan Zuckerberg Initiative chipped in $300 million.

The story directly echoes The National Pulse reporting from October 6th, though doesn’t credit the article which stated at the time: “The group recently received $250 million from Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, and the significant majority of the sum has been funneled into Democratic districts.”

Using George Floyd.
The death of George Floyd was also cynically leveraged for political ends, the article claims:

The racial-justice uprising sparked by George Floyd’s killing in May was not primarily a political movement. The organizers who helped lead it wanted to harness its momentum for the election without allowing it to be co-opted by politicians. Many of those organizers were part of Podhorzer’s network, from the activists in battleground states who partnered with the Democracy Defense Coalition to organizations with leading roles in the Movement for Black Lives.

And the claim is even made that campaigners should be used for their votes and those they could bring with them in their communities, but not to let them anywhere near the levers of power aka politicians.

Big Business.
Then, America’s big corporates stepped in.

While the AFL-CIO and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce pretend to be at each other’s throats, they reality is much of the back and forth is kabuki theater. The article confirms as much:

Neil Bradley, the Chamber’s executive vice president and chief policy officer… wanted to send a broader, more bipartisan message. He reached out to Podhorzer, through an intermediary both men declined to name. Agreeing that their unlikely alliance would be powerful, they began to discuss a joint statement pledging their organizations’ shared commitment to a fair and peaceful election.

The stage was set for the conspiracy to be carried out.

In effect, big business, big activist groups, big unions, and big media would collaborate to keep President Trump away from office and keep reporting on the steal off the airwaves and social media.

And while the article continues to claim the activists were not trying to stop Trump winning but rather guarantee a fair election, one line gives the whole thing away.

Ball reveals an 11pm Zoom call on election night wherein – when President Trump was in the lead – Podhorzer stepped in to calm his colleagues down:

“Podhorzer presented data to show the group that victory was in hand.”

And he told Time something very true: “I don’t think the Trump campaign had a backup plan.”

The article even claims that grassroots conservative activists came close to rumbling the plan, especially in Michigan, where observers were locked out of the counting room and placards placed on windows to stop them seeing inside.

Claiming Credit.
The rationale for the article is simple, and even contained within the piece:

As I was reporting this article in November and December, I heard different claims about who should get the credit for thwarting Trump’s plot.

Liberals argued the role of bottom-up people power shouldn’t be overlooked, particularly the contributions of people of color and local grassroots activists.

Others stressed the heroism of GOP officials like Van Langevelde and Georgia secretary of state Brad Raffensperger, who stood up to Trump at considerable cost. The truth is that neither likely could have succeeded without the other.

In other words, now the constituent parts are trying to claim credit, and along they way, they’ve said the quiet part out loud.

CNN Repeatedly Claimed Capitol Officer Sicknick Died Due To A Fire Extinguisher Hit… Now They’ve Quietly Admitted That May Not Be True.
BRIAN SICKNICK PASSED AWAY FOLLOWING THE RIOT AT THE CAPITOL

CNN quietly snuck out a report this week, without posting the story to their homepage and barely covering the news on air. It suggests despite the multitude of claims since January 6th, Capitol police officer Brian Sicknick was NOT killed by a blunt force trauma.

Posted on Tuesday, CNN’s new story was not shared by any of their leading personalities, reporters, or anchors. The eighth paragraph of the story claims (emphasis added):

According to one law enforcement official, medical examiners did not find signs that the officer sustained any blunt force trauma, so investigators believe that early reports that he was fatally struck by a fire extinguisher are not true.

One possibility being considered by investigators is that Sicknick became ill after interacting with a chemical irritant like pepper spray or bear spray that was deployed in the crowd. But investigators reviewing video of the officer’s time around the Capitol haven’t been able to confirm that in tape that has been recovered so far, the official said.

The case could also be complicated if Sicknick had a preexisting medical condition.

Despite dozens of results for CNN mentioning the fire extinguisher, there are just two correcting the record since their report was released.

The network has repeatedly claimed, without evidence, that Officer Brian Sicknick was definitely killed by Trump supporters with a fire extinguisher.

Poppy Harlow claimed: “We turn now to a tribute happening soon for fallen Capitol Hill police officer Brian Sicknick who died — was killed. He was killed when one of the rioters hit him with a fire extinguisher.”

Anderson Cooper asserted: “[A] Capitol police officer was beaten reportedly with a fire extinguisher.”

Ana Cabrera stated: “Officer Brian Sicknick died after being hit in the head with a fire extinguisher during the hours long attack.”

Erin Burnett asked: “Why is Trump trying so hard to make those claims the focal point of the Senate trial? Charging him with inciting insurrection? Does he think that the lie would justify a mob of his supporters trampling a woman? Does it justify police officers being hit beaten with a hockey stick and crutch? Does he think Brian Sicknick working the Capitol that died, after hit in the head with a fire extinguisher?”

Wolf Blitzer allowed Rep Ted Lieu to assert, unchallenged: “This was an insurrection and attempted coup where multiple people died including a law enforcement officer that reportedly was bludgeon [with a] fire extinguisher.”

None of these shows, their staffs, nor their anchors have issued apologies nor corrections for their incorrect assertions, which are especially galling given Officer Sicknick’s family outwardly called for his death to not be politicized.

Trump Jr.: "Here's What Comes Next for Our Amazing Movement"

SATURDAY, FEB 06, 2021 - 16:30
Authored by Mimi Nguyen Ly via The Epoch Times,
Donald Trump Jr.., the son of former President Donald Trump, said that efforts from the former president and his team to advance the interests of the United States are continuing. He characterized such efforts as “a movement of the people … against the elite.”

In a video on Trump Jr.’s social media accounts, headlined “here’s what comes next for our amazing movement,” he told supporters, “Just want to make sure everyone knows, guys, we are not done yet.”

Trump Jr. then shared a recent video clip that showed his father walking off the golf course while saying, “We haven’t finished yet.”

“He’s actually accurate,” Trump Jr. said of his father’s remarks.
“The reality is this movement isn’t over. All of the blood, sweat, and tears that you guys have all put into this thing is very much still alive and well. You see that. I mean, this is really a movement of the people, a movement against the establishment, a movement against the elite.”
He continued:
“A lot of those things have been brewing for quite some time. And that’s why for me I’m still standing engaged and we’re going to get in there and fight to elect people who really represent the people—people like you who have gone through so much.”
Trump Jr. said that the former president is still “going to be in that fight.”
“I know he’s still going to keep going. I know we’re up against a lot, we always have been,” Trump Jr. said, later adding that is father is “going to be in there making sure that we have people who truly represent what America is all about.”
The former president’s son moved on to speak about how fact checkers on social media appear to be biased against conservatives while lenient toward “the other side.” Drawing from his personal experience, he said that his content is fact checked “even if there’s even a little bit” of irregularity.
“When I look at things that I put up on my social media that are totally objective or that are satire, one or the other, that [social media content] gets fact checked so that they can use that to knock my platform, to prevent me from getting any kind of reach,” he said. “I see that stuff on a daily basis, I don’t see that on the other side. I don’t see Joe Biden getting fact checked when he said he’s not going to ban fracking, when he bans fracking.”
He added, “If there’s even a little bit of ambiguity they get the benefit of the doubt, whereas if there’s even a little bit, a modicum, something like I said, subjective, who’s to know what the fact checker’s thinking, but certainly I know what I’m thinking and I can come up with a parameter that makes everything correct but the fact checkers can say that it falls outside of those lines.
“Joe Biden, not one tweet—as many incorrect ones that they’ve put out—has been fact checked. It’s truly sick,” Trump Jr. expressed.
He alleged that the Biden administration appeared to have a “China first, America last policy,” accusing the new administration of “crushing jobs” amid the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus pandemic.

“The nonsense never seems to end, but neither will our fight, neither will our resolve, neither will our will to go on. We’re going to keep pushing for the American people and make sure our kids grow up in a country that we all recognize and love,” he said.

Trump recently opened an “Office of the Former President” that seeks to advance the interests of the United States and carry on the agenda of his administration.

President Donald Trump boards Air Force One at Valley International Airport after visiting the U.S.-Mexico border wall, in Harlingen, Texas, on Jan. 12, 2021. (Reuters/Carlos Barria)

Jason Miller, a campaign adviser, said in January that Trump would be involved in the 2022 midterms with the immediate focus being to help Republicans win back both chambers of Congress.

When Trump left Washington for Florida on Jan. 20, he told supporters that he and his team would “be back in some form.”

“We love you. We will be back in some form,” he said at the time. “I will always fight for you. I will always be watching. I will be listening.”

Trump on Friday appeared to have made his first social media post since leaving the White House. The post showed a letter from Trump’s lawyers to Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Md.), the House of Representatives’ lead impeachment manager, saying that they reject attempts to have Trump testify in his upcoming impeachment trial.

House Democrats impeached Trump on a single charge that alleges that he incited a mob that breached the Capitol on Jan. 6. The Democrats were joined by 10 Republicans.

This is the first time in U.S. history that a president has been impeached twice. It is also the first time a former president faces an impeachment trial after leaving office. In a trial memorandum, Trump attorneys denied the allegations and challenged the constitutionality of trying Trump after he had left office.

America’s Political Prisoners First

While official Washington fixates on the plight of an anti-Putin Russian political dissident, American supporters of Donald Trump are facing persecution and prosecution here at home.

By Julie Kelly
ag-mark_90833ec2.svg

February 4, 2021
In September 2019, Couy Griffin, founder of Cowboys for Trump, met with President Trump in the Oval Office.

His group, according to its website, believes “securing our border, protecting our Second Amendment, and protecting the lives of the unborn are the most vital and key aspects in America’s Greatness.” Trump supporters riding on horseback—often carrying American flags and Trump banners—participated in rallies across the country to show support for the president.

Today, Griffin sits in a jail cell denied bail.

Prosecutors charged Griffin with one minor count of trespassing as part of the Justice Department’s sweeping investigation into the events of January 6. Griffin, who is a county commissioner in New Mexico, never entered the Capitol but investigators scoured his social media account to find evidence that he was “well within the restricted area” of the building.

Griffin did not assault a police officer or break any windows or even steal an important leader’s laptop. His real crime, of course, is that he’s a supporter of Donald Trump—and his real threat to society, according to U.S. prosecutors and a federal judge, is that Griffin dares to doubt the outcome of the 2020 presidential election. (In his post-arrest interview, Griffin told the FBI “the election was stolen.”)

Arguing that Griffin is a flight risk and should remain in jail throughout his trial, government lawyers claimed his refusal to accept Joe Biden as the legitimately elected president would cause him to also “deny the authority of the judicial officers appointed by the President and confirmed by the Senate.”

Magistrate Judge Zia Faruqui, who was neither appointed by the president nor confirmed by the Senate, concurred. “This is an offense that, at bottom, was an attempt to stop democracy from moving forward because people were unhappy about the results of the election,” Faruqui preached during a February 1 hearing.
“I don’t think that the defendant will follow my conditions if he believes I am part of this machine of the democratic process.”

The judge added that refusing to accept the outcome of the 2020 election is like “not believing facts or science.” (Faruqui, it’s worth noting, was appointed a federal magistrate last year after a 12-year career at the D.C. U.S. Attorney’s office, the same office overseeing every January 6 related case. This is the swamp in action.)

So, facing just one federal misdemeanor, Griffin will remain locked up for the foreseeable future.

He is, for all intents and purposes, a political prisoner. In fact, some FBI filings refer to unnamed protestors as “insurrectionists.” The seditious cake is baked.

“Only the Beginning”
While official Washington fixates on the plight of an anti-Putin Russian political dissident, American supporters of Donald Trump are being rounded up, imprisoned, transported to the nation’s capital, and likely bankrupted over relatively minor crimes to stoke the narrative that an “insurrection” occurred last month.

More than 200 people have been charged so far; the FBI has described its effort as a “24/7, full bore extensive operation” and warned that agents from its 56 field offices will be fully engaged.

“The scope and scale of these investigations . . . is really unprecedented not only in FBI history but in DOJ history,” acting Attorney General Michael Sherwin said during a press conference on January 12.

Since all cases will be adjudicated in Washington, D.C., it’s a sure bet that defendants will be shown no mercy in the Trump-hating Beltway legal system also responsible for prosecuting Roger Stone and Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn—just a few of the Americans targeted by law enforcement solely based on their ties to Donald Trump.

Authorities admit that the Justice Department’s various sedition strike forces will leverage minor offenses in an attempt to manufacture bigger cases against Trump allies.

“Some of the misdemeanors we’re filing, these are only the beginning, this is not the end,” Sherwin warned. “We’re looking at significant felony cases tied to sedition and conspiracy. Their only marching orders from me are to build sedition and conspiracy charges related to the most heinous acts that occurred in the Capitol, and these are significant charges that have felonies with prison terms of up to 20 years.”

Law enforcement, as promised, isn’t dragging its feet. A federal grand jury already has issued a trove of indictments against several people; charges range from serious assault allegations to silly “obstruction of an official proceeding” technicalities. Some defendants appear to suffer from mental health problems: the so-called “QAnon Shaman” and “Helmet Boy” clearly have issues—neither can organize a cogent sentence let alone a coup.

Political Discrimination
Without question, dozens of people acted badly that day. Conduct that resulted in bodily injury or severe property damage should be punished accordingly.

But what’s most disturbing is that several defendants are being held without bail for versions of the same crimes unpunished thousands of times during the Black Lives Matter/Antifa riots last year.

“Judges have agreed with prosecutors in more than two dozen cases to hold defendants because there are no release conditions that would ensure the safety of the community,” BuzzFeed News reported last week. “Even when judges have ordered home detention, prosecutors have argued it’s not enough to prevent future violence and interference with ongoing investigations.”

For example, Robert Sanford, a retired firefighter, has been in a Pennsylvania county jail since his arrest January 14. He’s charged with four counts including assaulting officers; the FBI alleges he threw something resembling a fire extinguisher at a group of Capitol police.

Sanford will remain behind bars until his trial. Government lawyers accused Sanford of belonging to an “extremist” group because when Sanford’s home was raided after he turned himself in, “agents found a T-shirt worn by members of the white supremacist group the Proud Boys.” (Sanford denied the association.)

A judge agreed, condemning Sanford as a “danger to democracy and our legislators.”

Was he wrong to throw something at cops? Yes. Is he being treated differently because of his political affiliation? Doubtless.

Both the so-called “zip-tie” agitator and his mother are being held without bail and will be transferred from their homes in Tennessee to Washington, D.C. for trial. Eric Munchel and Lisa Eisenhart face various charges including conspiracy and disorderly conduct; despite the media narrative, they did not bring the zip-tie constraints into the Capitol but rather found them in the building.

The Sedition Hammer
Prosecutors handling the case suggested Munchel and Eisenhart could be the first people charged with the “exceedingly rare” crime of sedition.

Judge Beryl Howell, an Obama appointee and chief judge of the D.C. district court, last week overruled a lower court decision that permitted Munchel to be released pending trial. (Howell was a fierce critic of the Trump Administration who also oversaw the Mueller probe’s grand jury. The swamp, again, in action.)

“Hundreds of people came to Washington, D.C. to disrupt the peaceful transfer of power,” Howell said during a separate hearing January 28. During that proceeding, Howell ruled that Richard Barnett, the man photographed sitting at House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s desk, also would remain in jail throughout his trial.

Barrett, who hails from Arkansas and has no criminal record, faces eight counts including theft of government property, demonstrating in a Capitol building, and possessing a “deadly” weapon on government grounds. (Barrett had a hiking stick that also is a stun gun, which can be purchased on Amazon.)

His conduct enraged Judge Howell. “His entitled behavior . . . shows a total disregard for the law and for officials’ directives,” she raged. “A total disregard for the U.S. Constitution. Brazen, entitled, dangerous.”

In her rant, Howell claimed five people died because of the chaos—a common prejudicial claim not backed by evidence—and blamed Barrett and others for the military-like presence in Washington during Biden’s inauguration. “Shockingly, this risk of violence was caused by fellow Americans.”

Putin Smiles
Those are just a few examples of how Trump supporters are being treated in this investigation; it stands in stark contrast to the way the same law enforcement authorities handled Black Lives Matter rioters in Washington, D.C. last year—prosecutors dropped nearly all charges against hundreds of rioters for more severe crimes including destruction of property and assaulting police officers.

That sort of selective treatment played out in cities across the country, and still does.

One set of Americans, based on their political allegiance, not only escape punishment but are heralded as heroes of democracy. The other group is demonized as traitors, harassed by the news media, denied bail for minor offenses, and presumed guilty until proven innocent by partisan judges and prosecutors.

Meanwhile, the putative leaders of the Republican Party purposely ignore these injustices, far more worried about the fate of Alexei Navalny than their own countrymen. Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell spoke out this week in defense of Navalny after he was sentenced to prison by a Russian court. “Just the latest in Putin’s long campaign to subvert democracy and the rule of law,” McConnell tweeted February 2.

Apparently, the dangerously politicized rule of law here in the United States is of no concern to McConnell; scalp-hungry partisan prosecutors, working right under his nose and egged on by his colleagues, are poised to build virtually unheard of sedition cases against regular Americans.

Putin, undoubtedly, would smile in approval.

Why Did TIME Magazine Spill the Beans About Anti-Trump Shadow Campaign?

By Jeff Charles | Feb 06, 2021 4:00 PM ET

You may have already noticed that 2021 has gotten off to a rather shaky start with more than a few surprises. Crazed rioters launched an assault on the U.S. Capitol building, everyday investors scored a victory against elitist hedge fund managers, and President Joe Biden managed to stay awake through his entire inauguration ceremony.

But nobody could have expected that one of the nation’s most prominent publications put out a piece admitting what most conservatives already knew: a cabal of far-left progressive entities, institutions, and individuals colluded in a comprehensive conspiracy to oust former President Donald Trump during the 2020 election season. By revealing the partnership’s existence, TIME Magazine went much further than saying the quiet part out loud; indeed, they shouted it from the rooftops.

RedState’s Bonchie covered the story, noting that this vast collaboration “included everything from manipulating media coverage to getting election laws changed, at least according to TIME’s account.” (See: TIME Claims a Secret Cabal Manipulated the 2020 Election to Stop Trump, and People Have Questions)

According to the article, several different players and organizations were in on the conspiracy. Progressive political operatives, media activists masquerading as objective journalists, Democratic politicians, major corporations, Big Tech censorship brigades, and many more actively worked together to ensure a Biden victory. After years of mocking conservatives and Republicans for pointing out the roles these various institutions continually play in promoting the leftist agenda, TIME Magazine has decided to finally come clean.

As I said on the latest episode of the “Red + Black Show,” the article revealed nothing that conservatives did not already know. After all, we saw the whole thing play out right before our very eyes, didn’t we? But the article did provide more context, perspective, and details, and it now deprives the far-left of any semblance of plausible deniability.

But the question that nobody is answering is: Why? For what reason would TIME decide to pull back the curtain revealing that the progressive Wizard of Oz is nothing but a mass fraud? The publication is not exactly known for its honesty regarding these issues. What possible benefit could they reap from such a move?

Perhaps we are mistakenly assuming that they believe they would benefit when the real answer is right in front of our faces. While it is impossible to read minds, it is possible to read actions, and the reasoning of TIME’s decision to unveil the conspiracy is simpler than most would think.

What this all boils down to is the reality that the far-left has become too cocky for its own good. We have already seen their overconfidence manifest in their push for a second impeachment that is sure to end in utter failure. In their arrogance, they cannot see how trying – and failing – to remove a president who is already out of office is making them appear to a public that simply wants to move on from 2020. (See: I Support the Democrats’ Effort to Impeach President Trump and so Should You)

House Democrats just voted to strip a GOP lawmaker of her committee assignments when traditionally it is up to the Republicans to perform that type of action. Their hubris is blinding them to the eventuality that this can – and will – come back to haunt them once Republicans regain control of the House.

Now that they control the White House and both chambers of Congress, the Democrats and their close friends and allies in the activist media seem to believe that they are now untouchable. As a result, it no longer matters if we, the plebeians, finally know the truth about their not-so-secret machinations. It is akin to a supervillain giving a boastful monologue once they believe they have defeated their foe. To put it simply, they are saying, “Yeah, we pulled off a mass conspiracy to kick your guy out of office, whatcha gonna do about it?”

However, we all know what comes before the fall, and anyone who watches superhero movies knows what happens when the Riddler can’t help but go into a lengthy diatribe about how brilliant he is compared to the Batman, who is about to foil his plot with a well-placed batarang. By admitting what we all knew, they inadvertently gave the Right a weapon to use against them.

They can no longer pretend that their victories are purely organic. The Left is now unable to mock conservatives for believing in these conspiracies and still be taken seriously. And, even though they can’t see it right now, this is going to bite them where the sun don’t shine in the next few election seasons.

Judge Releases Cowboys For Trump Founder From Jail, Says “He Was Not A Participant In The Violent Break-In At The Capitol”

By Allan Miller | Feb 6, 2021

A Washington judge ordered the release Friday of a New Mexico county official and Cowboys for Trump founder who was charged for crossing police lines at the Jan. 6 Capitol riot.

Couy Griffin, who is also a county commissioner in New Mexico, was arrested by the FBI on Jan. 17 and charged with “knowingly entering or remaining in a restricted building or grounds without lawful entry” after video supposedly showed him breaching the Capitol grounds, according to the Justice Department. According to a Washignton judge, that just wasn’t the case…

A Washington magistrate judge ordered Griffin’s detention given his history of threats levied toward elected officials and deemed him a flight risk. Chief U.S. District Judge Beryl Howell overturned the prior decision. Howell said that Griffin’s alleged misconduct at the riot did not fit in with the most “brazen” and armed rioters. Howell added that Griffin left the Capitol grounds “peacefully.”

“He was not a participant in the violent break-in at the Capitol or the marauding mob roaming the halls of the legislative branch of government on Jan. 6, and the charge he now faces reflects that fact,” Howell said.
What the hell kind of reporting is this? Cowboys for Trump guy — who is also a New Mexico official — never went inside the Capitol. This is an honorable man. And even if he did, I have seen 3 videos of police waving people inside. America’s Political Prisoners First - American Greatness
— EllieB Block Party Productions (EBBP) (@EbbpProductions) February 6, 2021
Howell dismissed Griffin’s attorney’s assertion that threatening statements targeting elected officials fell under the protection of the first amendment, according to Politico. Howell also said Griffin’s words did not indicate he would dismiss court orders.
“These are all words that are deeply disturbing, especially when considered in conjunction with the defendant’s decision to return with firearms to D.C. shortly before the presidential inauguration on Jan. 20,” Howell said.
“His words certainly reflect strong convictions that many in this country would consider unpatriotic, obnoxious, repugnant to the democratic process and certainly harmful to the American body politic, when he’s talking about fellow Americans,” Howell continued.
Howell concluded that, due to delays caused by the coronavirus pandemic, the time Griffin might spend waiting for trial could possibly exceed his sentence, Politico reported. Griffin is facing charges of entering an area restricted by the Secret Service.

Prosecutors Call for Mother of Eight to Be Held in Jail Indefinitely for Her Role in Storming the US Capitol in January

Most-Wanted-7-Girl-with-Pink-Hat-and-Bull-Horn.jpg

Video circulated following the January 6th protest-riot at the US Capitol in Washington DC of a woman in a pink hat who was seen barking orders with a bullhorn and helping others to bash out a window at the US Capitol.

The “Pink Hat Lady” appeared to be by herself and was inciting people in and around the US Capitol. She used a bullhorn to speak to people inside the Capitol building to give them directions on where the Congressional members were located. The woman used a large pole to try to break down a door or window from the outside of the building.

The woman was later identified and turned herself taken in Thursday night in New Castle in Lawrence County, about 30 miles from her home in Sandy Lake.

Rachel Marie Powell is 40-years-old and a mother of eight children.

Prosecutors have asked that this mother stay in prison because she might be a “flight risk.”

Her attorneys argue she is not a flight risk and has either the means nor the desire to leave her young children without a mother.

The FBI and US government is treating her like a terrorist killer.

FRAMING ROGER STONE: In Attempt to Put Together a Case, Democrats Reportedly Looking Into Creating a Narrative about Roger Stone and the Oath Keepers

By Joe Hoft
Published February 7, 2021 at 8:25am
Roger-Stone-with-Oath-Keepers.jpg

Those who voted to impeach President Trump last month, the Democrat Party and Liz Cheney, are now realizing that they have no evidence to support their case. These politicians voted for the impeachment without any evidence for the accusations they were making.

Unfortunate for politicians in the House who voted to impeach President Trump, there was no investigation into the allegations the House was making. There were no charges placed against the President by anyone independent of the House. There was no Committee within the House that reviewed the evidence from an independent source that supported their claim. There was no ruling from a House committee that based on independent investigations led to the articles of impeachment.

Instead the House Democrats just drafted up an impeachment memo and voted on it. All the Democrats and a few radical Trump haters in the House, like Liz Cheney, supported the unethical and unsupported impeachment put together on a whim.

At the same time there was no investigation into voter fraud in the 2020 election. The claims made by the President and his team were quickly dismissed and never reviewed. Now there is literally truck loads of evidence of election fraud and no desire to come close to investigating it in the House.

All of this is coming to a head as the Democrats in the House and Cheney realize they have no case. They have nothing but their own opinions. So they are now searching for anything to support their false claims.

The Daily Mail reports on one effort the Democrats are trying. They harassed and indicted Roger Stone before, they think, why not do it again:
Newly surfaced video shows Trump ally Roger Stone being flanked by members of far-right Oath Keepers on the morning of January 6, just hours before members of the group stormed the Capitol.
The video is a part of the evidence being used by House impeachment managers to determine whether there are links between the former president and those who stormed the building in Washington D.C., last month.
‘So, hopefully we have this today, right?’ a man – who goes by the Black Conservative Preacher on social media – can be heard asking Stone at the Willard InterContinental hotel, just blocks from the White House.
The Oath Keepers are a group of men who describe themselves as the following:
Oath Keepers is a non-partisan association of current and formerly serving military, police, and first responders, who pledge to fulfill the oath all military and police take to “defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic.” That oath, mandated by Article VI of the Constitution itself, is to the Constitution, not to the politicians, and Oath Keepers declare that they will not obey unconstitutional orders, such as orders to disarm the American people, to conduct warrantless searches, or to detain Americans as “enemy combatants” in violation of their ancient right to jury trial. See the Oath Keepers Declaration of Orders We Will Not Obey for details.
Oath Keepers reaches out to both current serving and veterans to remind them of their oaths, to teach them more about the Constitution they swore to defend, and to inspire them to defend it.
See below for details on how we do that. Oath Keepers also includes a membership program designated as “Associate Members”, which consists of patriotic citizens who have not served in uniform but who serve now by supporting this mission with their Associate Membership and volunteer activities. Oath Keepers welcomes our Associate Members and appreciates their support of our mission.
Stone claims he had nothing to do with the riots:
Stone has claimed that he played ‘no role whatsoever in the January 6 events,’ adding that he ‘never left the site of my hotel until leaving for dulles Airport,’ later that afternoon, ABC News reports.
‘I had no advance knowledge of the riot at the Capitol,’ Stone told the outlet in response to the footage. ‘I could not even tell you the names of those who volunteered to provide security for me, required because of the many threats against me and my family.’
However, none of this matters because the one thing we learned from the justice system developed under Barack Obama is that the FBI, DOJ and the courts will do all they can to destroy an innocent American if they feel a need to do so.

Former Vice President Mike Pence plans to build on what former President Donald Trump accomplished as he sets out to lead efforts to shape the future of the conservative movement and Republican Party, his chief of staff Marc Short told Breitbart News on Friday.

“Mike’s roots are in the conservative movement,” Short said in a phone interview.

“It’s the foundation for his philosophical and political views. But, President Trump brought in a large number of new voters into the party and into the movement.

He’s focused on how do we continue to build upon that.”

On Thursday, Pence and the Heritage Foundation—as Breitbart News first reported—announced that he was joining the conservative institution as a senior visiting fellow.

Then on Friday morning, Young America’s Foundation (YAF) announced that Pence would be joining its organization as its Ronald Reagan Presidential Scholar. YAF, which sponsored then-California Gov. Ronald Reagan’s nationally syndicated radio program in the late 1970s before his successful 1980 presidential campaign after his unsuccessful 1976 bid, will sponsor a podcast from Pence as well.

“Vice President Pence has been a stalwart defender of individual freedom, traditional values, free markets, and limited government throughout his career of distinguished service to our country,” former Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, now YAF’s president, said in a release. “Now, by partnering with YAF, the Vice President will continue to attract new hearts and minds to the conservative cause, passing along the ideas of freedom—just as President Reagan did before, during, and after his time in office. Vice President Pence’s energy and enthusiasm for Ronald Reagan’s values has and will continue to inspire a new generation of young people.”

Back in November, in the immediate aftermath of the election, Pence delivered an address to YAF at the conference during which Walker took the reins of the group from its longtime president Ron Robinson. In the speech then, Pence implored Trump supporters and conservatives to “stay in the fight” and keep pushing forward no matter what happened in the weeks afterward with election challenges that ultimately failed to ensure Trump’s legacy survives.

“Think about what’s already been recognized,” Pence said in that YAF speech.

“This President actually secured 72 million votes. That was more than 10 million more votes than we received in 2016. In fact, it’s more votes than any Republican candidate or any incumbent President in the history of the United States of America. And what maybe meant the most to the President and me is that the vote that came in on November the 3rd for this Republican President actually included the highest proportion of American minority voters in 60 years.”

That record level of support for Trump, Pence added then, also translated into down-ticket successes for Republicans in House and Senate races as well in state-level contests.

“Because of the support that all of you provided and all the states from which you come, we actually already have added 12 seats to the House of Representatives,” Pence said. “And we won three state houses.”

Then then-vice president also said in the November 13 address to YAF that the president and his supporters are fighting to “preserve everything that we’ve accomplished.”

“It really is amazing to think about what we have done in the last four years,” Pence said. “And I say that with a little swirl of my hand because I picked that up off the President. I’ve lost count of the number of times that people would come into the Oval Office and say to the President, ‘Thank you for what you’ve done.’

And he would always—he gets his— just ‘We.’ I mean, this is a President that understands that everything that we’ve been able to accomplish it’s because of the support of tens of millions of Americans who knew we could be strong again, who knew we could be prosperous again if we regrounded our nation in all the ideals and principles that have always made America great.”

Short, Pence’s closest aide, explained to Breitbart News on Friday that these decisions by Pence—to join Heritage and YAF—are part of a broader effort by the former vice president and potential future presidential candidate to help guide the Trump movement forward in the months and years ahead.

“Both Reagan and Trump were transformational presidents,” Short said. “There is a lot that we look to in the last four years and see what we’ve accomplished from immigration policy to the judicial branch to rebuilding the military to historic tax cuts and deregulation that we think as well is a prescription for the future. I think what the vice president would tell you is he sort of came of age politically during the Reagan years, and I think we know the policies of the last four years that have benefitted the nation’s national security and economy and that we want to make sure we continue to build upon that.”

Short told Breitbart News that the Trump era helped flesh out a broad vision—America first—for the movement, the party, and the country, and Pence intends to keep that discussion going in the coming weeks, months, and years.

“I think that both Reagan and Trump brought into the party a broad number of new voters that were middle class, blue collar, midwestern voters,” Short said. “Mike Pence comes from a blue collar, middle class, midwestern family. I think that he is somebody that can look at both of those movements and appreciate what they added to our party and our movement. And I think that, as you said, many of the policies like taking on China and not having a continued abdication of our sovereignty and appeasement to the Chinese Communist Party is essential to what I think a lot of American workers want when it comes to their jobs. You’ll see the vice president want to continue those policies and ideas that help our party and movement flourish best.”

In a series of interviews with Breitbart News when he was vice president, both before and during the coronavirus pandemic during which he was the chairman of the White House Coronavirus Task Force, Pence laid out that vision on every major issue from China to trade to immigration and more.

Moments after the U.S. Senate overwhelmingly—89–10—adopted the U.S.-Mexico-Canada (USMCA) trade agreement in January 2020 aboard his campaign bus in Florida between Tampa and Orlando, Pence told Breitbart News that the “USMCA is a huge win for American workers and American farmers.”

“It is a historic achievement following decades of shuttered factories and lost jobs in the wake of NAFTA,” he said.

Later in the year, in Philadelphia in July 2020, Pence told Breitbart News that under Trump the Chinese Communist Party was no longer getting a free ride at the expense of American workers.

“When we took office, China was half of our international trade deficit,” Pence said in that July interview. “President Trump made it clear that those days are over. We put China on notice that we were no longer going to tolerate trade policies and practices that have seen American jobs shipped overseas. So he’s used his authority and imposed tariffs and taken a strong stand. We’ve also, on strategic issues, we’ve made it clear we’re going to stand up for the interests of America in the Asia-Pacific. We’ve defended the freedom of navigation. In fact, we have two aircraft carriers in the South China Sea taking a strong stand. Also, just more recently with China breaking their word on Hong Kong, and the president has announced we are taking action that will be out in the coming days that will demonstrate our commitment to the people of Hong Kong and our commitment to freedom-loving people around the world. But that, whether it be the strong stand on trade and tariffs, whether it be our commitment to our strategic interests in the region, or whether it be our stand for freedom and human rights, no president in my lifetime has been tougher on China than President Donald Trump.”

On courts and the judicial branch, after the vice presidential debate where Pence faced off with then-Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA)—now the vice president—in Salt Lake City during a campaign swing through Florida at the Villages, Pence told Breitbart News it was “outrageous” that Harris and now-President Joe Biden would not give a clear answer on court-packing.

“It is outrageous that a candidate for the highest office in the land won’t tell the American people what he’s going to do with the highest court in the land,” Pence said in that October 2020 interview. “Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have got to come clean. They’ve got to tell the American people whether they’re going to pack the court. Honestly, the way I saw Kamala Harris respond in our debate, the way that I saw Joe Biden duck the question in the presidential debate—for them to now say, ‘You’ll know my opinion after the election’ and we ‘don’t deserve to know’ tells me all I need to know. That is Joe Biden and Kamala Harris and the Democrats are going to pack the court if they take the Senate. But we’re not going to let it happen. We’re going to re-elect Donald Trump for four more years in the White House.”

Pence was one of the most prolific campaigners for Trump, too, touring the nation hitting all the battleground states and helping guide the campaign and party forward. As for the future, Short told Breitbart News that while Pence is obviously not announcing a run for president himself in 2024 at this time, if he does run down the road he is “uniquely positioned to bring together and marry the traditional conservatives and the Trump voter.”

But, for now, Pence is focused on helping the movement and the party in the immediate elections ahead like looming governor’s races later this year in a handful of states including Virginia as well as looking ahead to the 2022 midterm elections. Short said Pence “will be very active” on the campaign trail in the upcoming elections. As a former governor of Indiana before his election as vice president, as well as the former House GOP conference chair when he served in the U.S. House, Short said that Pence is intricately involved in all facets of the Republican Party’s future prospects.

“I think his focus is really going to be on 2022,” Short told Breitbart News. “We’ve had conversations with RGA [the Republican Governors Association]. Mike was a governor, and he was on the executive committee of RGA, and there is lot of really important races at the state level but also importantly there are a lot of important prospects of reclaiming the House. I think, ultimately, we’ve seen time and again when Democrats have controlled government they have overstepped.

When Mike was the conference chairman of the House Republicans and helped communicate the message to Americans of the Obama-Pelosi agenda in 2008 to 2010, we had a record-setting year. He’s going to be focused on how do we reclaim the House and how we win a lot of governor’s seats in 2022.”

[COMMENT: "As for the future, Short told Breitbart News that while Pence is obviously not announcing a run for president himself in 2024 at this time, if he does run down the road he is “uniquely positioned to bring together and marry the traditional conservatives and the Trump voter.”

Oh HELL, NO! Pence is still counting on his 30 pieces of silver from the RINO "conservatives." We know what you did to President Trump, you Judas. The knife is still in his back. ]
