Due to some unforeseen events on another board, specifically the board changing ownership. The new owners claim the rights to any material (my books that I have put onto the site for people too read for their pleasure, in draft unedited form) they can have my work published and they get the proceeds from sales. I am looking for a home for my work. Have any of the many great authors on this site had any problems?

I would love to put my meager attempts at fiction on this site. Thanks for any help and answers.

TB2K is an outstanding web site.

Dennis is excellent in running TB2K and the Members are awesome.

You would make an excellent Member.

Been a member of Timebomb2000 for a while and it is a great site. Thinking about bringing my work over here. Might start a Patheon page or whatever, that is what my daughter thinks I should do.

Their policy here;
All original member content posted on this forum becomes the property of TB2K Inc. for archival and display purposes on the Timebomb2000 website venue. Those are reasonable terms in my view. I could definitely see the potential for one butthurt individual to create legal chaos without it.

As for that other board, SB isn't the first to attempt stealing someone's work, and probably won't be the last. They mostly get away with it because the members don't read the TOS etc.

Yes post away and tell your writing friends at the other site to come and do the same.

And I like the new book, "Start Anew"! It's a unique story line that will prove to be interesting. I'm glad to see you migrated here.

Are you the type of author that prefers us to respond with typos that jump out at us, or would you rather keep our comments focused on enjoying the story line? Some authors prefer one way, some another, so let us know what you prefer and you can get a bit of editing done here if you want. Otherwise, we'll just enjoy the read and you can observe how we react to different plot lines.

Thank you for sharing your work, and be sure to let us know when you have something published. Many of us support our authors in the commercial world as well.

I never really understood why you elected to email updates to some of your readers 'over there' -- NOW, I get it.

For one thing, I can tell you your work will be easier to find here -- it took me a bit to learn my way around as I became a 'new' member shortly before TB upgraded its server & application. This new TB is easier to navigate -- or at least it is for me.

I want to make sure I understand this right. Are you saying the owners if this site are claiming they have the legal right to take a story here and publish at as their own works?
And they get the profits from any sales?
Is that what you mean?

Some sites do for sure (SB for one). So far this site has worked with me and when the work is finished they remove it from the site. others willl not do that they say the work belongs to them and if you read their fine print they do. Even if they don't publish them themselves, publishing companies will not work with you on that book if it stays on the site.

Food for thought if you are a writer.
