I'm not going to get into my Freeze Dried (#10 cans) until I have to....but Mountain House was first on my list of preps....I used to be a backpacker and have used MH (individual meal packets) many times in the past, its the best....

I gave my best friend some individual meal packets to try...and he loves the stuff!!! He couldn't stop raving about the flavors of Mountain House....it should be first on anyones Prep List!!!

I've got MH that I have ordered amd received from SAFECASTLE!!! Also I cleaned out the stock at a local store one day....all around the time that Obama was elected. I've got AC so I keep the room where the freeze dried is stored cool in the summer as temps above 72 degrees diminish its 25-30 year shelf life. I'd highly recommend that folks with families purchase the #10 cans....just the right size for storage.

And no safecastle didn't pay me to say these things about a wonderful Prep food!!! :geek:

When the shit hits the fan I'm ready....I draw comfort from my preps and my family will inherit these preps when I pass on. I've got 9 people in my immediate family....and now I don't have to worry about their immediate survival.

I go hiking every 2 or 3 years and take Mountain House packs
I really like the Sweet and Sour Pork with rice and the Beef Stroganoff
The Chicken Teriyaki and the Beef Stew are good as well
I actually try to keep a few pouches on hand for the nights that I don't feel like cooking

What carrier does Safecastle use for deliveries? I have no mail delivery where I live and use a post office box. Would prefer Fedex as 1st choice or UPS 2nd choice if possible.

We do use Fedex, UPS, USPS and other partners, but unfortunately, we don't ship to PO box address.
We need Physical address to ship the orders.

Since you don't do PO boxes and the post office doesn't deliver to my house, is there any way to guarantee that my orders will be sent via Fedex?

Hi, we cannot guarantee you the delivery from a specific carrier because it totally depends on the availability of the carrier partner while the shipping process.
However, I can request the team to ship the order from the most reliable source available.

OK, two questions: #1 can you request that the team definitely NOT ship to my house via the post office (USPS)? #2 what happens if they forget and do, and the shipment does not arrive?
