Mostly retired and a new Rottie puppy to occupy some spare time.
Lots of EMT firefighter hx with a liberal dose of pilot.
Most of you already seem like family so single malt scotch on arrival and no hair pulling.

Emma, his forever pup, was waiting for him when he crossed. She left this world a year before he did, and I feel it was so she could prepare the way for him. I can hardly wait to be with my beloved Hermione again.

I think that dogs provide genuine companionship/love for their owners. I feel that it's important for our well-being.

We've had mostly smaller breeds over the years. Currently Oliver, a Boston Terrier is the master of our house.

We had a German Shepard on the farm in Minnesota. A light grey/dark grey shepard. An absolutely beautiful and kind dog. Her name was Kally. She would join me as I run our township road, passing a neighbor's farm. This farmer posted his property with no trespassing signs and shot Kally when she apparently trespassed in his field one day.

Our inside dog started acting up as Kally was walking back home. Kally's lower jaw was shattered, hanging by the skin. I took Kally to the vet, but there was nothing he could do for her. I carried Kally into the vet alive and brought her home in a bag.

I put a case together against this neighbor along with a witness. I turned the completed report over to a county deputy. Dickwad went to court, pled guilty and his family will shun me every time I'm around them. That was like 35 years ago and it still pisses me off.

2nd gen. prepper
Howdy, I have been a lurker for the past couple of weeks, thought I would take the dive and join in. I am a second generation prepper. I guess I am what you would call a millennial just born in the wrong year, I suppose. Lived off grid almost all of my life, and almost never had running water (except for when I ran with the buckets) and have taken care of horses and dogs that way. I am extremely interested in natural medicinal remedy’s and living off the land. I started reading Time Bomb in the light of coronavirus because all the recent news got posted here before I ever could find it, and far more accurate. Thanks for letting me become part of such an awesome forum and i look forward to being a part of such like minded folks.

I want to take the opportunity to introduce you all to my Daughter, littlechasingbear.
Some of you have read about my bragging rights on her. She’s pretty darn awsome.
She’s not the typical millennial for sure. More like a old soul in young body.

Welcome to the Forum DD.

Greetings from a 20 year lurker. I have found very accurate and timely information here over the years. Often weeks before it has become generally known. Thanks to Dennis, administrators and mods. for all you've done over the years.
