Hello Everyone -
Nothing exciting or out of the norm here. Creating my first post which will read like a lot of the others.
Lurked for a year plus, some recent posts to the public side discussed my industry (transportation) and felt I could have added a little behind the scenes knowledge that wasn't being talked about.
Decided it was time to join the fun. Am located not far from Kansas City, not from here and a bit stuck with Kids until they graduate. Once that happens I'll be headed back up to the northern states that I call home.
I will say I like the community here, I like there is a level of respect required in how everyone is treated.
Either way, Happy to be here - Thank you!

Hello, I finally joined after lurking for too long. I have really enjoyed the commentary on the SMO and a lot of other interesting subjects. I looking for to contributing!
As for me I live in Seattle and have been here my whole life. Things have changed a lot and I guess I feel like the frog in the pot of water. It might be time to get out before it gets too hot.

About me , I am a old dinosaur with a abject hatred of politics , I would rather laugh at life than lament over it and i stay in the cold half of the un united kingdoms ( Think game of thrones territory ) expect many spelling mistakes and the adding of U to Colour and Humour .

It took me a while to pluck up the courage to join but I will eventually find my way around the site and figure out how everything works . Everyone seems pretty chilled on this site which is good

.I was on the original board but kind of let it slide for many years.
I vanish of the internet for 9 months of the year , But after losing my dog in December I have time on my hands a few days a week to chill out , then back to looking after mother who is hard going with dementia and takes a lot of looking after

I am glad I finally joined after lurking for years , This place is nice and friendly and more important for me the board is polite and we'll moderated , I have recommended this forum to a few older wiser members who would fit in perfect here , so I am glad to hang up my hat and make myself at home and give you a perspective from across the pond , so a big hello to all the members here and thank you for the warm welcome
