A New Braunfels hospital says two people who came to the facility Thursday with concerns about Ebola-like symptoms do not need any further testing.

CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital - New Braunfels reported that two people came to the emergency room Thursday, prompting the hospital to implement its screening protocol.

The two people were immediately placed in isolation to protect from a potential Ebola exposure.

The hospital immediately activated the Infectious Disease Protocol and worked with the Comal County Judge and Comal County Health Authority to determine whether the patients met Ebola testing criteria as recommended by the CDC, according to a hospital news release.

The hospital worked with the Comal County Health Authority to determine that no further testing of the individuals is needed.
