Several people had asked me to post a message here when my next Parno novel was available. Parno's Gambit, #3 in the Black Sheep series, will be available to the public next Friday, March 10. It's available for pre-order now I'm told, as well.

https://www.amazon.com/Parnos-Gambi...Y_1_11?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1488587222&sr=1-11

IN addition, I will soon send to the publisher the start of a new PAW series called Fire From the Sky, (tentatively anyway) that will follow the trials of the Sanders' family through a world wide disaster. Book one is a character and scene setter mostly, and will be about 150k words the way it looks now. I should be sending it to the publisher in a week or so, but I don't know how long editing and art work etc will take.

Unlike Billy and Roland, which were meant to be "one and done" and were written that way, "Fire From the Sky" is intended to be a series and will be what I call 'continuous', meaning that you may read something in Book One that you won't see again until Book Three, and so on.

When it's ready I'll post it on this same thread so as to avoid adding another new one. I think, I hope, that those of you who enjoyed Roland and Billy will also enjoy Fire From the Sky and it's follow on books. The plan is open ended for the series, with at least five novels already either mapped out or at least a synopsis down. Any of those ideas can change, but this is meant to be a series, instead of trying to make a series from something that was meant to be one and done.

Thank you to all who have shown interest in these and other works I have done. I appreciate your patience and encouragement very much.

Oh yay! I have Books 1 and 2 and on March 10th, I'll have book 3! That makes me a very happy juco.

Fire from the sky sounds intriguing and I'll be keeping an eye on this thread for a release date.

Good on you, Bad. I'm glad for you. And for me...and all of us that adore your work. And please don't leave Stormcrow on the back burner too long..... I love the shades of Shade. LOL

I'm glad you enjoy Parno, and no Stormcrow won't be on the back forever. I usually work on multiple projects at once, but with Parno that has become almost an impossibility to be honest. When I'm working on a Parno novel it dominates my time and my thinking.

It's possible that I will do Book 2 for the PAW series first simply because it seems easier to write at the moment, but Stormcrow 3 and Parno 4 will also be on the forward go as some might say.

As to Fire From the Sky's release, the publisher should get it in another week or so, Lord willing that I live until then, but after that it's on them. the first installment of Fire is as large as any Parno novel or a bit bigger, so I don't how long it will take them to edit, proof, etc.

Thank you again for such kind words.

No. Thank you. I appreciate all of your encouragement. There have been a lot of times when i was ready to throw in the towel and quit. Encouragement from you all has been a big reason I didn't. So thank you.

Just finished book3 of parno....

As always Bad, I enjoyed the writing. Only bad part is now I have to WAIT for the next one!!!

I did see a few MINOR editing mistakes- primarily as instead of was, that sort of thing. I will reread and compile a list for you to correct. I don't care- but some Amazon reviewers will, so...

Love this story, as an added perk I'm from north Alabama so I know many of these areas/terrain, etc Suprised more of the "old tech" didn't survive around the Huntsville area...hmmm?? Lol

Thanks again

Don’t let the Piss Ants get you down…

Thank you for hanging in there. The Parno series in particular is very enjoyable. Like ME, I'll place a pre-order.

Thanks for giving us a heads up!

I have amazon giving me updates and have finished the newest parno and enjoyed it.

I find I often go back and read your stuff each year or two.

While I readily recall the "jist" of the story I greatly enjoy your writing.

Look forward to more. I read what you had here and these days I think amazon keeps me up to date.

I'm glad you enjoyed it. Just got a promo cover today for "Fire from the Sky", my new PAW novel that is the beginning of a series. As soon as it gets finalized I will post the cover on my webpage and here, too. I don't know yet about when Fire will be out, but I'm already working on the next Parno novel.
