Also,heart rate =135,sat =96,fever= 100.9.
Is hydration the best thing for the elevated heart rate?

I'd say anything he can stand to eat, after having covid for what seemed like forever, I wasn't much interested in food. I went for a good 10 days without eating almost nothing.

There is such a lack of appetite, nothing sounds good or tastes good. The thought of trying to eat meat when I was sick, made me gag. What did help was bone broth, and I sipped pineapple juice for 5 days. Yes I lost 4 pounds but unless your already under weight, it won't hurt anyone.

At this point I would say whatever he will eat. Also Collagen Broth is very nourishing.

If your husband is of a heavy build I would concentrate on broth and tea. (his body has plenty of stores to keep him going and it may be beneficial for him to enter a fasting state.) If he is not, then think baby foods, meats and veggies mashed, stay away from sugary foods, bread, pasta, cakes etc, keep the inflammatory carbs to a minimum.
Quinnine from tonic water, or boil grapefruits and lemons (youtube has recipe) vit D zinc and selenium, try the master flu tonic (its on here -look it up) elderberry tincture. Make him lie on his front leanining down to drain the fluid for 20 mins every hour, look for herbal teas with mullien and horehound or any cough mixtures that have a suppressant to save hime damaging his chest, essential oils that help breathing, and look up mustard plasters and white onion plasters as well.

I have not had Covid so I can't comment from that perspective. I would suggest Miso soup/broth. It is excellent for cleansing toxins from the body especially if it is made with ginger, garlic and a little hot pepper. There are many ingredients that can be added, but the essentials are the basics. You can make it with chicken broth, but I make it with vegetable broth as a base.

Right now, I would concentrate on fluids. Broths, soups, tea, Gatorade and maybe even some jello. Most people have a little extra stored up so if they don't eat for a week or so, it really won't affect them. You can only go maybe 3 days without fluids.
