I've been making these:
**Makes a 2qt Mason Jar Full**
3# Polish, Smoked Sausage, or Hot Dogs
cut into thirds or fourths. *Must be a precooked meat.*
Pack into clean 2 qt jar
In a sauce pan combine:
1 cup Frank's Hot Sauce
2 cups white vinegar
1 cup water
1 TBS ground paprika
1 tsp Red Pepper Flakes
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic salt
2 TBS White Sugar
Stir over medium heat til boil
Simmer 5 minutes
Let cool 5 minutes
Pour over meat in the jar.
Let it cool.
Place in fridge for 7-10 days
Enjoy!
*I don't know how long they keep safely in the refrigerator. Once we dig into them, they usually get eaten within a couple of weeks, and I'm obviously still here.
