to Zion Il area, within an hour.Wife has to go there every 28 day for cancer treatment. We are spending $100 per night at a motel, plus gas etc.My 4runner will pull it but gas mileage goes way down. I know it is a long shot after searching for a place you can get a place to park for $100. so a bust.
anyone live up there even in Kenosha or know someone.

I can't help you personally, but I suggest you look into HipCamp. Kinda like AirBnB, but for camp sites. You may be able to find something close, and if you contact the host and explain the situation - well, you don't ask, you don't get, you know?

Praying for your wife - been there, done that with the cancer treatment. Feel free to PM me if I can be of help on that end.

I can ask around. Just to be clear....you want a place to park it when you are not in Zion with your wife, yes? Would you be taking it closer to Zion to an RV park/campground when you are in the area? Is the $100 you are talking about what you want to pay for a month? A week? Give me as many details as possible and I will ask some people.

I guess I am not explaing it properly.Jjust hoping someone lives up there that has a place to store it.
I know it is a long shot just hoping.
I know this is not exactly what you are looking for but I've noticed, around here (Arkansas), I see some of the places that offer storeage buildings for rent also offer a place to store boats and campers. I'm assuming the price would be reasonable if you can't find someone close by who would let you park it free.

peanut that's exactly what we are looking for, place to park it,then we will drag it to a campground.only places I have found are $100-150 a month.Might as well stay in a hotel at that price.down here outdoor storage can be had for $25.I am not familiar with northern Il and could be a block away from what I need, just don't know it.

Let me ask around. There is an outdoor storage just down the road from me, no clue what he charges but it is 45 minutes away from Zion. I also have some friends with land closer to Zion. Give me a few days. When will you be headed to Zion next?

Did you decide on a place to park your camper or are you just going to drive up? I haven't heard back from you so I'm just wondering.
