Under recall are 4-lb. plastic bag packages containing "Pilgrim's FULLY COOKED CHICKEN BREAST NUGGETS" with best-by date of May 6, 2021 and a lot code of 0127 printed on the retail package

(CNN)Pilgrim's Pride is recalling about 59,800 pounds of chicken breast nuggets because they may be "contaminated with extraneous materials, specifically flexible rubber material," officials said.
The Department of Agriculture announced the recall Sunday.


The product being recalled:
4-lb. plastic bag packages containing "Pilgrim's FULLY COOKED CHICKEN BREAST NUGGETS"
They have a best-by date of May 6, 2021

They also have a lot code of 0127 printed on the retail package

The cases have lot codes 0127105009, 0127105010, 0127105011, 0127105012, 0127105013, 0127105014, 0127105015, or 0127105016 printed on the box

The products also have "P-20728" printed on the packages

The reason for the recall: The Waco, Texas-based company received a complaint from a customer about rubber pieces in the product. The statement says there has not been a confirmed report of any health reaction.

Where was it distributed: To retailers in Arizona, Idaho, Oregon, and Texas.

What consumers should do: Please throw away the producers or return them where you bought them. Anyone with questions should call (800) 321-1470.

Yes they have. You should have noticed it has been a lot of years since you saw a comedian hit someone with a rubber chicken and yet rubber chickens reproduce quickly and are cheap to raise due to their diet of shredded car tires and discarded pencil erasers.

When I first read that I thought........wow that's a big bag of nuggets.

I know right! We stopped at a Kwick Star to get gas, and so I could use the restroom, in Ankeny, IA last weekend and I stopped to see what they had on their hot bar... low and behold they had REAL chicken tenders and they had that coating like real fried chicken has on it when you cook it at home. So I bought some, dang near made me cry they were that good!!!! Perfectly crispy, perfectly tender, perfectly seasoned, and it was REAL chicken breast meat, an actual chunk of chicken not that pink gooey crap everyone else tries to pass off as chicken meat. So yes if you have a Kwick Star C-Store near you try the chicken tenders! The potato wedges also looked and smelled really good but alas I'm allergic to potatoes. Kwick Star is owned by Quick Trip.
