I saw it yesterday in a few places, but don’t remember where. In one of the articles, someone commented he looked like he’d used a black magic marker to color his long disheveled beard. He had a definite sketchy look about him…but it may also have been a bad day, bad pic kinda thing.

I watched the Teamsters go bye-bye on the West Coast as I was starting my career here.

Then Asian and other Truck Companies hire illegals in waves. For over 40 years this trend prevailed. CV-19 an knew-sum bumped quite a few good guys too.

No shortage of truckers now. Status of them by demographics unknown to me.

ETA: The missing mom headlines are sad. The Bitcoin ransom feasible; yet from the get-go something about all of the story to point felt off.

No update from the FBI. If this is a kidnapping the Feds get involved immediately. Federal offense anywhere in the United States. If it is a homicide investigation then Sheriff and State authorities are on it. Of course under Patel the Feds could be working it very quietly because of News Media high profile implications. If this was a simple robbery I doubt the robbers would take the time to remove and dispose of a body. That is a lot of work.

Turning into the usual ****show. Police say one thing, Sheriff says another, neither one talks to the other.

I was involved with a few high profile cases in San Diego County. Police and Sheriff had no issue withholding information from each other, in all the cases. Quite literally telling each other that in the field. "No, we're not sharing what we found". "But you have the evidence in the trunk of your unit, can we at least see it?" "no".

Kind of an eye opener for me, to tell the truth. Of course, this was around a couple of decades ago, so I'm sure things are better now, right? snort.

I saw Patel say a few days ago that FBI is providing assistance, but the way it is right now, Pima County Sheriff has command.

The feds had made another visit to her (Savannah) sister's house today (from Banfield again) ICAC did a search. They investigate internet crimes against children as well as other technology crimes. (according to the reporter giving her the info)

It's important to EVERY family who has a loved one disappear, but why put so much effort on one person? Celebrity status?

I had the same thoughts that have been expressed here when PDJT and Kash chimed in. My first thought is that there is more to this story than meets the eye and that whatever is going on needs to be brought out for public attention.

Not that President Trump isn’t a compassionate person; he absolutely is. Still, as was mentioned above, hundreds of women and children are trafficked every day that we know of. How many people of all ages are kidnapped for ransom or retribution that we, the public, aren’t aware of??

This is a very high-profile case.

Reminiscent of when Clinton moved all those Navy and Coast Guard assets to search for JFK Jr's plane... and back then, there was no internet and social media.

Because of said internet and social media, this story has reached practically every American that has a smartphone...

I don't like the concept of exploiting personal tragedy for political gain... but could this be an opportunity for Trump to rub the liberal's noses in their "border is secure" and "diversity is our strength" talking points? All the crime and such isn't a problem when it happens to us little people but it's a crisis when it hits a high profile liberal. At least I assume Savannah is ultra-liberal because she works for the MSM.

Just because she doesn't have her meds (yes, even heart meds or diabetes meds!) doesn't mean she's gonna die. Doctors pile so many pills on older folks these days that have no immediate necessity, most could easily go for months without them (and very possibly be better off).

Haha. NONE of them look like themselves without their TV mask on. Most of them probably want it that way. They can go to the grocery store without getting hassled.

I dunno. My gut tells me that if she went to dinner with the daughter and husband that night, something went wrong (check their finances, gambling debts, drug habit) and they are covering up for a murder - intentional or not.
