NASA Wallops Rocket Launch Visible in Eastern United States

A mission to explore energy transport in space using a NASA suborbital sounding rocket launching May 8, 2021, from NASA’s Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia may provide a brief light show for residents of the eastern United States and Bermuda.

Launch scheduled for 8pm with a 40 min window. This may be pretty cool. Artificial aurora is possible.

Interesting timing, isn’t that around the time frame the Chinese rocket is due to make its uncontrolled re-entry?

Now this is interesting. I frequently check NASA and Space X launch schedules as our family loves watching them here in NE FL. So tonight I am looking for update on the above launch and learn that there is another launch at Canaveral at 0235 EST tomorrow (now about 5.5 hrs away) of a Falcon rocket. The odd thing here is that I just checked the schedule in last 10 days and the next launch wasn't scheduled until 5/17, so it's like this one sprung out of nowhere. Online articles discussing it only appeared today. Almost as if they didn't want to share this launch too early? IDK.
