According to a witness who was outside during the mass shooting at a FedEx hub in Indianapolis last night, a person was seen running to his vehicle to retrieve his gun. He then tried to engage the suspect but died after being shot.
“My friend at the time witnessed a man who was not part of the incident but also pulled out a gun from his truck to try and engage the shooter and he died because of it,” Levi Miller said Friday morning on NBC’s “Today” show.
If this witness account holds true, it’s a decision that this armed citizen made which unfortunately cost him his life. When the options are run or fight, some choose to fight in an attempt to stop evil people from continuing their evil acts.
Police confirmed a total of 8 people were killed during the incident, but have not yet confirmed the number of injuries.
The suspect shot himself as police were arriving and was found deceased.
The suspect has been identified as a 19 or 20-year-old, depending on the source, and was an ex-employee of the FedEx location. Concealed Nation does not publish the names or photos of suspected mass gunmen.

Folks We had one that showed up at a supermarket after one very resent shooting with body armor and a number of long guns and went into the rest room, the cops were waiting for him outside the rest room, seems he forgot to put on the body armor before coming into the store and the long guns loaded and start shooting.

The man who killed eight people at an Indianapolis FedEx facility was identified Friday as 19-year-old former employee Brandon Scott Hole — who authorities said was questioned last year by the FBI.
Hole’s mother had called police in 2020 saying she was worried he might try to commit suicide by cop, said Paul Keenan, special agent in charge at the FBI’s Indianapolis field office.
According to a police report, Hole was arrested on March 3, 2020, when police “seized shotgun from dangerous person,” local station WTHR-TV reported.
“Behavioral health unit initiated immediate detention,” according to the report. (Thought involuntary detention would be caught on background check)
Hole had bought the shotgun shortly before he was arrested and taken to the hospital, the report said.
A search of Hole’s bedroom after his arrest turned up some items that prompted federal agents to question him, Keenan said without elaborating on what was found.
But the FBI eventually determined no that crime had been committed, nor that Hole had been talking about any racially motivated idology. He was not given back the shotgun, authorities said.
Officials said the killer was last employed by FedEx in 2020. The company confirmed his previous employment.

Authorities are still scrambling to figure out why Hole opened fire with a rifle at the plant near the Indianapolis International Airport, killing eight and wounding five others.
“I wish we can answer that,” Deputy Chief Craig McCartt said when asked about the motive.
At a press conference Friday afternoon, authorities said Hole also had a prior arrest in 2013. It was not clear what for.

Federal agents on Friday were seen hauling evidence including a large box and computer equipment from Hole’s home in a neighborhood on the east side of Indianapolis, 13News reported.
Neighbors said more than 30 law enforcement vehicles arrived at the block Friday morning.
Indianapolis Police Chief Randal Taylor noted that a “significant” number of employees at the facility are members of the Sikh community, although it is unclear if that had anything to do with the shooting.
The fatal victims have not yet been identified, police said.

Eight people were killed late last night after a shooter opened fire inside a FedEx Facility near the Indianapolis Airport on Thursday night.
Two witnesses and FedEx workers described the shooting.
The gunman then took his own life.
This afternoon Brandon Scott Hole was identified as the shooter and a former employee at the FedEx facility.
According to John Cardillo, Hole was known to police and the FBI.
The FBI questioned Hole last year.

Not to go too far off topic but when my daughter was a senior in HS they had several lockdowns. 2 of them hard lockdowns and serious. During one she was texting me from under her desk, in a dark classroom, doors locked, and could hear people banging on doors. Some of the kids had gotten locked out in the hallways and were banging to be let in. Suspected shooter on campus. Cops cleared the rooms one by one with K9 units and guns drawn. That was the scariest couple hours of my life. I had friends and family all texting me and at the time I told DD to turn her phone off so no vibration could be heard and no light seen. News crews were across the street. Parents were parked all over.
They never found anyone. The school is adjacent to a public park and there had been someone in the park with a gun and when the cops arrived he ran through the school. This was the year after the Strip shooting so everyone was on edge and the kids I can't begin to tell you what that did to them.
I don't know what the answer is but these instances take a toll on our children

Another part of the answer is for us to remember in this world, it could easily be US as first responders, or caught on scene- so keep your medical bag in the vehicle, and your skills brushed up on, in case, god forbid, you're needed.

It was the LIBERALS who SHUT DOWN ALL THE MENTAL HEALTH facilities and made it IMPOSSIBLE for someone to be PUT INTO ONE against their own will (for more than 24-48 hours) if they wanted out.
They did this back in the 80's-90's.
Now we have an exploding population of homeless individuals who are (in large part) too mentally ill or deficient to be able to be responsible for themselves (maintain a job, so as to maintain a home, pay bills, buy food, etc.). Society USED TO TAKE CARE OF these people by putting them in mental health facilities--but the "COMPASSIONATE" liberals did away with all those and got them shut down, because (doncha know) ALL of them are like the one in the Olivia De'Havilland movie "Snake Pit."
But now--with NO RECOURSE for families with mentally ill family members---there is NO WHERE A MENTALLY-ILL TEEN OR ADULT CAN BE HELD ---
UNTIL they do something HEINOUS like this.
