Moore accuser says she added notes below Moore's yearbook signature

A woman who has accused*Alabama GOP Senate nominee Roy Moore of sexual misconduct says she*made her own notes below*a yearbook signature she claims was made by Moore.

Beverly Young Nelson, who has accused Moore of sexually assaulting her decades ago when she was 16 years old, told ABC News in a*Friday interview*that she made notes underneath Moore's alleged yearbook signature, but defended the*veracity of the message itself.
*
"Beverly, he signed your yearbook?" ABC News reporter Tom Llamas asked.**

"He did sign it," Nelson replied.*
*
"And you made some notes underneath?" Llamas followed up.
*
"Yes," she answered.*
*
When Nelson accused Moore of sexual assaulting her after offering her a ride home from work, she produced a high school yearbook she says was signed by Moore as proof that she knew him at the time.*
*
“To a sweeter, more beautiful girl I could not say Merry Christmas. Christmas 1977. Love, Roy Moore, D.A," the inscription reads. Below it reads the date and the name of the restaurant where she worked at the time.*
*
The credibility of the signature has become a source of contention between Moore's critics and supporters.
*
In the footage aired by ABC News, Nelson did not clarify what notes she made in the yearbook or when she made them. But her lawyer, Gloria Allred, told the network that they are going to hold a*Friday*press conference to present more evidence that supports Nelson's claims.*
*
Moore has denied Nelson's allegations as well as the flurry of others that have surfaced over the past month from women who say Moore pursued them as teenagers about*the same time. He's also taken that denial a step further, arguing that "I do not know any of these women."
*
During his initial denials on Fox News pundit Sean Hannity's radio show, he admitted that he remembered at least two of the women.*
*
His campaign has also denied that Moore ever signed the yearbook in the first place, criticizing Nelson for not turning the book over for independent analysis.*

Well, he gave her a ride. OF COURSE he assaulted her - what man wouldn't?

So she now admits that she modified the signature? For what purpose and why is she admitting it now and not when her attorney first made the accusation? Any credibility with her claim is now gone and she probably fabricated it all.

She, or someone connected to her, copied Moore's signature from her divorce papers. The DA after Moore's signature is the initials of his office assistant.

""Judge Moore looked at that D.A. after that signature," Jauregui said. "No, he wasn't, he was the assistant district attorney." He added that Moore's assistant when he was presiding over Nelson's divorce proceedings was named Delver Adams, who typically stamped his initials on court filings."

The woman in question needs to be evaluated for mental illness.

Lets hope that Moore takes her to court and gets her locked up for the rest of her life. That is the only defense against all these liberals crawling out of nowhere to make false allegations. When a few of them get harsh sentences then maybe the rest will think twice.

Her bank accounts need to be closely looked at. As does her connection to Gloria Allred. How did they get together?

She reminds me of a gal I knew, in college, she had bi-polar disease and really bad. When ever she went off of her meds she'd concoct rape sexual/assault stories, mainly her predators were imaginary, but occasionally she'd point at some random man and start shrieking "did you see that, he just raped me". Her parents finally came and collected her from the university and took her home, heard some years later she submitted to having a frontal lobotomy performed. Not sure if it was a physical lobotomy or one of those chemically induced lobotomies.

Then there was the case study, we read in psych class, of the woman who tried to press charges against a guy because he wouldn't rape her. I think she ended up being institutionalized for life, IIRC.

I'm not saying this to downplay any person's real experiences of having been raped, sexually assaulted, sexually molested, or sexually harassed. I'm just pointing out that there are some loonies out there that will come out of the woodwork when they realize they can get ten seconds of fame. They're right up there with the assholes who start grass and forest fires during red flag days with high winds. They're monsters.

Allred needs to lose her law practice her home and the clothes on her back

She had long ago sold her soul

If you recall, we had a now-ex-member who accused one of the staff of sexual abuse on the open forum. When I did my research, come to find out she didn’t know his real name or birthday, despite supposedly having a year-long relationship with him. Additionally, he lived 1000 or so miles away during the entire period of their alleged relationship. But she saw his face in a picture and it “sure looked like him.”

I question the sanity of folks who do this kind of thing.

This must have been before my time, I don't remember this story... but I have heard of several cases like this happening on Facebook, etc.

You generally don't make notes like that to appear as if the original script continues. Nevertheless, let's assume she HAD done so, then she should have pointed that out when she first showed the yearbook (and each and every time thereafter), and explained very CLEARLY which writing belonged to whom. Instead, she presented the whole thing as his.

Liar. There is just nothing more to say about it.

This is the second accuser to admit falsifying her account.

BIRMINGHAM, Alabama — Faye Gary, a former police officer with the Gadsden Police Department in Alabama, has been featured in the news in recent days making the unsubstantiated claim that she was told to protect young cheerleaders from Roy Moore at local ballgames.

Speaking in a Breitbart News interview on Wednesday, Gary falsely claimed that Moore “wanted to keep segregation here in the south.”

She then claimed that Moore “hates J-ws. He hates blacks. He hates Muslims. He hates gays.”

When challenged for specifics, Gary conceded that “I don’t know exactly what he said about J-ws, but he doesn’t like Muslims. I know he doesn’t like Muslims. It is my personal feeling that he doesn’t like blacks.”

When further petitioned to support her charges, especially her claim that Moore “hates blacks” and supports segregation, Gary further admitted, “I am not sure. That is my feeling.”

The news media in recent days uncritically featured Gary making the undocumented claim on MSNBC that as a police officer “we were also told to watch him at the ball games to make sure that he didn’t hang around the cheerleaders.”

The news media seemingly failed to vet Gary, with numerous articles and the MSNBC interview not mentioning that Moore was the prosecutor in an 1982 high profile case that sent her brother, Jimmy Wright, to prison on charges of possession of a controlled substance. This after a second charge, unlawful sale of a controlled substance, was dropped.

The case was known locally as the “drugs in the mouth” case because, according to the state’s evidence, Wright allegedly tried to hide cocaine wrapped in foil in his mouth while his home was being searched. The Gadsden Times on April 9, 1982, documented how in his closing arguments, Moore put wrapped foil in his mouth that was ten times larger than the foil allegedly found on Wright in order to demonstrate that such a feat was possible.

Speaking to Breitbart News, Gary claimed that she was not motivated by anger over Moore’s involvement in convicting her brother.

Well, well, well, Ms. Beverly Young Nelson, you made up a big chunk of your story? Imagine that! Sorry sweetie but you were suspect when you threw in with that paragon of legal virtue, Gloria Allred. Now you have lost all credibility in my eyes. But I don't count in Alabama. Hopefully most of the voters there can see through this smear. JMHO but you and all the accusers better hope and pray that Moore wins. Because if he loses, he will have a great deal of time on his hands and the legal experience to go after each and every one of you that are lying. You will be forced to put up or shut up and I don't think it will go well for ya. Karma...it's a bitch.

I knew it! The signature was obvious!! And then when they wouldn't turn it over I knew it beyond a shadow of a doubt!! There should be dire consequences for lying and ruining a man's career!!

Unfortunately (or fortunately) if one victim/accuser lies - it throws all the other victims in a state of suspicion.

They appear as 'copy cats', at least to me.
