1 cup sugar
1 cup shortening
2 eggs
1 cup molasses
2 teaspoons soda
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 scant teaspoon ginger
1 cup black coffee
pinch salt
2 cup raisins
1 cup nuts
5 cups flour
Drop by spoonfuls on cookie sheet and bake in a medium oven until done.
