My brother has a lot, but he said he can not ship it because its illegal. He lives in San Antonio.

Its not me that got down to 6, its my DH who thinks he can just run to the store and buy a box. One box of 20 is a lot for him. Bless his dear heart he is so smart about some things but a dumb ass about others. its like you can't pound sand. I've had my supply for what I have for years. Oh, that's right I lost it in a row boat accident trying to cross the Mississippi in New Orleans.

God is good all the time.
What state are you in? Cal? I think it’s illegal in Cal to get ammo shipped to you.

This too shall pass.
Does anybody still have .30-30 ammo in stock? I have some, probably more than I'll ever use (given that I'm an old lady and hope to never get into a real fire fight), but thought I might pick up a bit more if I could find some. And I can't find any! I checked the company at the link in the OP and they are completely sold out. And I've checked a couple of other places.

SGA has Federal 9mm JHP (200 rounds for $230)

They also have some 223 in stock (nothing cheap) including $330 for 500rd of xm855 and $480 for 1000 rounds of Red Army steel case.

That's more than I paid for ammo for my .45 several years ago. Though then I bought some in bulk, and paid about .50/round, which I thought (back then) was still a lot.

Check your 30-30 supply again. If you really don't have enough, post back and we'll try to find something for you that isn't double or more in price compared to a year ago. I hope you have enough for your pistol, that would be harder to find and more expensive when found.

Still available at 63 cents/round. I couldn't get the $49 "code word" discount to work.

I have plenty for the pistol -- bought bulk when I first got it when Obama was elected.

There's probably enough for the rifle for a while, but when I bought ammo for it, I was only thinking about hunting. So a couple of boxes, plus some loose in the drawer.
